"Mom?" the little girl spoke.

"Yes, my darling?"  

"What is that thing around your finger?" she said while touching the foreign object.

"Oh darling, this is a ring. Your father gifted it to me." the woman closed her eyes before turning to her child again.

"Why? Has it some kind of power?" 

"Fufu, it has the greatest power of all." the mother pulled her daughter into a hug.

"Really?"

"Yes, it is called..."

"Love..." Rose murmured silently.

"Hn?"  

"Ah nothing, I just remembered something. I should not hate myself anymore. Thank you for believing in me!" she smiled brightly as she clutched his hand.

"I promised to be strict if you go and pretend to forget... Ah... I will need to get used to it..." he gestured at her head with an unsure expression.

"Huh? Get used to what... Wha- why does my hair change all the time..." she complained annoyed while grasping it. 

"Let us return to my room, alright?" he suggested stopping her.

"No, tell me what happened to the werewolves" she questioned sternly.

"You killed most of the leaders but we could capture a handful," he revealed while observing her firmly. 

"Let me see the prisoners," she demanded.

"Huh? Why?" he inquired thoughtfully.

"I need to see if he survived." Rose turned around.

"He?"

After a bit of discussion, she made Urd agree to let her to the dungeon.

"Why hello, Rose. It seems you returned to your old look." the male said without hesitation.

"You better not speak without being asked to, dog." one of the guards exclaimed as the male sighed.

"Richard, how did you survive? Dont tell me you are a progenitor." Rose came closer as Urd watched her with cautious eyes.

"Haha, I am indeed special," he smirked insanely but she regarded him coldly. 

"No, you aren't. I see you are half one." he stopped smiling as his eyes went wide as she continued. "Werewolves can also reproduce biologically but I heard the one mixed with humans acquire their features later and go mad from it. When I first met you were intelligent and calm, always making the right choices but look at you know. You are nothing more than a little wolf surrounded by lions." she turned away as he jumped forward grabbing the jail bars.

"Tell me how do I return! I read it! In an old book that werewolves can turn back! You should know Rose!" he pleaded as the vampire guards kicked him back but she decided to return. Roses expression turned sinister.

"Richard, I already told you that there is no way back however it is true, a werewolf can return to being human." she started as he hopefully listened" BUT as soon as it tasted blood it is over! You are doomed. We might meet again when you become a spirit that roams this world without a purpose." she stepped to Urd "You're even more pitiful than a demon, farewell old friend." the black-haired left as the second progenitor followed her closely.

"The most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of loving someone too much, and forgetting that you are special too."
