"Mister vampire I believe that master's condition is worsening. These people are doing something to hold her in one place I do not know how but it is truly not a good thing" 

"We should hurry. Can you feel her yet?" Urd asked.

[Should I tell him or should I follow masters orders...]

{Cold... it is soo cold... my throat hurts... I want to drink...} Rose slowly but surely lost the ability to move.  

"Nee-san?" a childish voice asked as her eyes shut open.

"Emily? How are you here...?" Rose became nervous not believing her eyes. 

"The woman with the scars she took us here."

"Us? Where is..."

"(Hic)... she took Charlie...and..." the girl whined.

"What did she do?!" Rose blurted out furious and fearful.

"He is no more..." 

"..."

{Kill}

"Nee-san? Please don't be sad he said that he loved us and that there was no shame in dying if I could live on!" she wailed more "Nee-san where are you looking...!" the child jumped away disturbed. 

"My my, so you have found out already? Bad children have to be punished!" the scarred woman without a warning shot Emily with her gun. She was dead instantly.

"You!!! What have you done!" Rose shouted with new strength while her eyes gleamed whitishly.  

"I have investigated you and found some interesting things. Before you were in this organization you were like a shadow nowhere to be seen, nowhere to be found. You hadn't anything to protect then. It is different now, right? ... I love that expression, did you like my present? Haha!" the woman laughed in pleasure.

"What are you doing doctor? Have I not forbid anyone from entering." the man from before entered the room.

"I do not listen to orders from you! I shall kill her now." she turned to Rose when he grabbed her wrist.

"Do you know what you are even talking about. Do you think he will forgive you if you disobey? I will get the leader. Richard-sama will decide what to do with her or do I have to force you to wait?" the man calmly explained

"Bring it on!"

"Amelia!"

"Kill. I want to kill them!" 

"I know but you don't have the power as these chains bind you. Even if you break free they will use that strange chant again and then you will be helpless."

"I don't care... actually I..." she looked down.

"You don't want to be separated anymore?" her shadow stepped closer, the chains that bind her extending. 

"..."

Roses other self kneeled down, closing her arms around her.

"I know, I understand. It is painful, right? To hide your true desires, your true thoughts. YOUR TRUE NATURE!" Rose did not move, feeling the walls around her soul slowly lowering. She knew if she gave in, there was no reset button. The seal would be broken and Rose would become one with her shadow again, something she experienced the last time as a child, it truly frightened her. 

She knew her mirror image wanted to be released from the shackles that restrained her, she wanted to experience the outside world the entire time, not just some small moments when Rose would lose control over her senses, be it in rage or excitement. Rose could understand, she felt the sorrow and loneliness of her other half most of the time but she knew that it was too early.

"I will not release you. I want to talk to him before I disappear completely." Rose slightly shoved her shadow away.

"The vampire...? You really are strange. You are not the only one who will disappear! We will become one being! Don't you understand? We will have the same memories and conscious! You can... no, we can talk to him then!" her other side shouted as Rose lifted her arm. "You... are you really going this far? I will not overlook this! I am you, do not ever forget!" 

"Silence..." the chains tightened around the white-haired and shove her back to her spot where she was caged for thousands of years. The image of the dead Emily appeared in front of her setting something off. Rose turned the other way trying to control her rage when she heard a noise.

"This time I will..."

"Stop your futile resistance, Amelia!" he said as he held her down, he thought of his next move but stopped as he saw a familiar appearance. "Brother? It can't be... you are dead..." in the same instant he felt her fist deep in his abdomen, realizing a flickering in his brother's body. "He is an illusion? How... no one of us possesses such an ability." he sank down.

"You guys are really simple-minded I am not such a low-life like yourselves. Ahhh, yes. You listened when I talked to the black-haired monster there, didn't you? I am something like an unwanted kin of a magician, even though I am incomplete I have obtained power that exceeds normal supernatural beings. I have countless abilities such as manipulation... you think yourself a god, don't you? How laughable for a young puppy who hasn't even been alive for a mere 100 years! Let me drink some of your 'sacred' blood then. Show me how powerful you are!" she kneeled down, grabbing his neck.

"Traitor... die by the poison then" he knowingly remarked.

"Hah, something like that is only effective against the likes of the vampire kind, I researched your blood in detail I came to the conclusion that it is harmless for me since I am practically a dead person. It is not going to sate my hunger but I do want to see your face when you realize that your life is over," she explained, as she opened her mouth which revealed her rather small fangs. 

"Tsk..." he closed his eyes.

"Ughh... What..." she mumbled, as her blood flowed out of her chest. In horror, Amelia turned to the one who stabbed her "Richard-sama... Wha... it is not like you think, I...!"

"Shut up. I don't want to hear your voice anymore." The white-haired man shoved her away. "Are you alright Lieutenant?"

"Yes thank you but leader what are we going to do with this traitor?" he asked searching for her body and shocked when he lied his eyes upon her bloody neck. "Oh no!"

The chains on Roses's body broke away as her one of her eyes turned dark red and her hair partly white. She started to smile darkly.

"This is where the banquet begins~"

A shadow is created by light, without it, there is only the endless night.
