"So, why are you looking for the Seven Deadly Sins anyway?" Meliodas asked her as she looked beyond the cliff.

"I want to ask them. . .to help me stop the Holy Knights."

What?

"Are you serious? Why in the world would you want to do that? The Holy Knights are the Kings Men, the Knights who protect Liones. Real heroes!" Hawk questioned.

"But, what if they were behind the plot to start a war in our country? The other day, all the royal family, except for the King himself, was arrested-"

No!

"-and are being held by the Holy Knights," Horror struck across my face.

This can't be right! It's not-!

What about Renai? Oh no, don't tell me they got her too!

"This means that the King isn't really sick in bed, is he?" Asking this, she nodded no.

"That's just a cover story the Holy Knights are using. I don't know what they think they can accomplish by driving the nation to war. But now, they're drafting the people of the kingdom, they're taking men wherever they can get them, they're preparing for war everywhere you look. Soon, their reach will extend all the way out here."

"That's not good," Hawk muttered.

"Yeah, tough break, huh-? Why do you keep hitting me?" I smacked him in the head with my hand.

"What about the Water Princess Renai? What did they do to her?" I asked urgently and she began to shake.

Oh no. . .

"You mean the Water Kingdom that allied themselves with the kingdom here?" I vigorously nodded yes.

"Water Princess Renai is being held hostage by Holy Knights unless her elder sister, Water Queen Nixilia, turns herself in and marries a Holy Knight, they didn't say which one though," She explained and I gritted my teeth.

"Why do you ask?"

"I've always admired the Water Kingdom and wondered what might've happened to the Princess," I told the truth and she nodded, understanding how beautiful their kingdom is.

"So, how does this tie in with The Seven Deadly Sins again?" Meliodas questioned, rocking back and forth on his feet.

"If there's even the slightest hope to prevent the Holy Knight from doing this. . .I know they're the only ones who can!" She proclaimed proudly.

"Just checking here, you're trying to find those guys even though you know what kind of people they are?"

"The Seven Deadly Sins, the most vile order of Knights the kingdom ever produced, made of seven vicious, blood thirsty criminals. Each one branded with the mark of a beast. Ten years ago, when they were suspected of trying to overthrow the kingdom, the Knights of the Realm launched a full force attack, scattering them to the four winds."

"Well, if you believe the rumors, they each died a long time ago," Meliodas shrugged.

You little shit.

"Such amazing people wouldn't possibly have let themselves get killed!" I blushed pink at her comeback.

"But, they're all criminals, aren't they?"

Will you stop questioning her?!

My god, you're worse then King.

"The Holy Knights are the ones causing the suffering of the people right now! Long ago, when I was small, only five or six years old, my father would tell me stories about them and their secret comrade, and that's when I learned they were the most powerful Kn-!"

We all heard a loud crash and suddenly, the cliff beneath us gave out and we all started hurdling towards the ground!

I'm not dying!

The kingdom needs us!

"Ydob retaw!"

My body completely became water under mere seconds as everything toppled upon me.

"Nixie-?"

"Just go!" I yelled, hoping my cry would get through to Meliodas.

All at once, I blasted the debris out of my way and my body recoiled from everything crushing and separating my water.

My body turned into a puddle on the ground, only for me to submerge my body of water into the dirt and find my way back up to Meliodas and the girl.

The way she spoke about us, it was so passionate.

She cares so much about her kingdom that she'd go and search for their most wanted criminals?!

She's got heart, and whoever's doing this will not take that away!

"Are you alright?" My body reformed out of the ground and I appeared by her side.

She didn't respond back but simply stood up and started walking towards the huge man.

"Wait, didn't you just say that you can't afford to be caught, or give up?" Meliodas asked.

"Maybe if I surrender myself peacefully, he'll agree to take me back with him and your lives can be spared."

Seeing him grip his sword tighter, I glared at the man and as I slowly stood up, I separated my legs a few inches away from eachother so that they were in my fighting stance.

With a simple toss up motion of his sword, he sliced the mountain half in her direction, but not thick enough to cut the mountain entirely in half.

Meliodas grabbed her and threw her out of the way, with his body hovering over hers in a protective way.

"Please, get out of here while you still can!" She pleaded, on the verge of tears.

"I think he wants to make sure none of us get out of here alive," Meliodas bluntly stated and she started to cry.

What's one of my attacks that can take down this guy?

"-that's why I didn't want to involve you in my problems. . .when I don't even know your names!" She cried out as he got closer and I looked to Meliodas, but he wasn't giving the signal!

"Meliodas, if you really wanna know."

"I-I don't believe it. . .you can't be! You're just. . .!" Elizabeth accused, completely baffled.

"That symbol on your arm, it's some kind of beast-wait, that's a Dragon!"

"Emod retaw!"

I proclaimed, forming a dome of water around me and Elizabeth, letting Meliodas take care of him.

"What's this. . .?! Are you a Sin too?!" Elizabeth demanded and I chuckled, moving up my maids skirt a bit more and she closed her eyes with a blush.

"Hey, it's okay to look, I promise, Princess," I promised and she opened up one eye, but soon they both widened.

"That was the secret comrades symbol! You're The Seven Deadly Sins secret comrade!"

"So you finally figured it out, Princess. It's nice to see you again," She raised her brow.

"Wait, we-?"

"Unfortunately, now's not the right time to talk. I'm going to lower the barrier, but don't run out," She slowly nodded and I lowered the water barrier.

"You're not going to help Meliodas?"

"He's got this covered-oh, see?" I gestured to the man flying up into the air and his armor breaking off piece by piece.

"The Seven Deadly Sins; The Sin of Wrath, The Dragon Sin, Meliodas!"

"The Seven Deadly Sins; The Sin of Despair, The Lily Sin, Nixie!"
