"Why is a pretty lil' thing like you working at a place like this?"

"Well I owe the owner a great debt. He saved my life."

"Really? How so?"

"I can't tell you much, but let's just say that he's a lot stronger then he looks."

"Nixie! Can you come over here really quick?" Meliodas called me from behind the bar.

"Coming! Excuse me,"
Excusing myself from the conversation, I hurried over to Meliodas.

"Can you clean the dishes in the back for me? I'll take the waitressing from here," He asked and I sighed thankfully. I was getting many stares from the men, making me very uncomfortable.

"Thanks Melio-"

"Besides, the only one who can look at your butt is me."

Of course, that's why.

Not because every man in here is staring at me.

It's also Meliodas's fault, making me wear such an atrocious maid outfit for waitressing.

"Okay," I simply nodded and headed towards the back to start the dishes.

Ten years, huh?

I can't believe it's been that long.

It seems like only yesterday me and-

Snapping my head towards the direction of the sound.

Whipping my dagger from my shoes, I ran out to where I heard the noise and prepared myself for the worse.

"Meliodas! Is everything. . .alright?" I slowed down when I saw The Rusted Knight on the ground. Peeking a little farther, to my surprise, it was a girl!

The Rusted Knight. . .is a girl?

Meliodas offered to remove her armor from her unconscious body, but I know this pervert, and he will violate her in more ways then one.

I recognize her, but from where?

Oh, it's on the tip of my tongue but I can't figure it out!

"Let's find out if she's truly a girl."

"Meliodas, that's not necessar-"

Too late.

"That sweet gentle face, those buxom curves, this perfume, the springiness. . .yup,
she's a girl-why did you hit me?"

Meliodas asked as I wacked him over the head with a shoe.

"Because you don't just go around groping unconscious women, pervert!"

"But I do it to you all the time."

"Huh?! Since when?!"

"Since-oh, you're awake."

Turning my attention towards the girl, her face is red because Meliodas is still groping her.

"Uh, pardon me?" She asked in a hushed voice.

"Your heart beat is just fine."

A pervert and a liar.

"Oh, well, thank you very much for that," She turned her attention towards the room and looked around with a worried expression.

Hm. . .

"Excuse me, but what am I doing here?" She asked.

"Oh yeah, you walked into my bar, and passed out cold, on the floor," He shrugged, simple as that.

Poor girl, has she eaten?

"Your bar?"

"Yeah, the Boar Hat, it's my tavern."

"Wait, you're the owner?"

Maybe I could slip some of the water into her drink?

She's obviously not in an 'okay' place right now.

It's healed him before, atleast before the incident, so it should definitely heal her as well.

My thoughts were cut off when she squealed and hugged Hawk.

"It's a talking piggy! He's so cute~!"

"Hi, my names Hawk," Hawk introduced himself while she pet him and basically cuddled him.

"A long time ago, I pestered my father to get me a piggy like this for my birthday~!"

Why does her voice sound so familiar?

"So, did you like having a pet pig?"

Her face contorted from pure happiness to sadness within seconds,
"Didn't get one."

That got depressing really quick.

Walking out of the room, I kept on thinking where I might've seen her face, but it wasn't clicking in my mind.

"My little water sprite!"

"Hey, you're back!"

"I can't leave my girl behind, now can I?"

STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM!

My fist went through the wall as I started hyperventilating. The memories of us starting invading my brain without my consent.

"Nixie, calm down," Meliodas stood in front of me with a serious look in his eyes and removed my fist from the wall.

"O-okay, I-I'm sorry about that."

"It's fine, as long as you're in control, every-"

"Open up! The villagers told us who's in there! We, the Order of the Beard of the Mountain Cat, serving as Holy Knights. We're here to arrest the Rust Knight, one of the Seven Deadly Sins! Come out!"

Holy Knights banged on the door, demanding to see the Rust Knight.

"What's up with everyone today?" Meliodas wondered aloud.

I was thinking the same thing.

"Holy Knights. . .?"

[Time Skipz]

Meliodas, I'm going to kill you!

"What's up?" Meliodas opened the door.

"Who are you, little kid?!" One of the Knights demanded.

"I'm the owner."

"The Wandering Rust Knight is here. Send him out."

"Better come out," Meliodas called out, only to have Hawk dressed up as the Rust Knight.

This is the dumbest plan ever.

"Who is calling for me? I am Sir Hawk, the Rusty Knight!" Hawk proclaimed, walking out with the armor on his back.

"So. . .this pig is one of the Seven Deadly Sins?"

"What?! No-!"

"Sir, is everything okay?" I faked my concern, coming out.

All their creepy eyes were on me.

"Ma'm, everything is fine."

"When you're yelling at the owner like that, I highly doubt that 'everything is fine'," I sassed in my Southern accent with a mix of a hushed voice, which seemed to draw their attention more towards me then the problem at hand.

She ran out from the back, but unfortunately the Knights spotted her.

"Hey! A girl just ran out from the back!"

Crap!

"We have to inform Sir Twiggle, she must be the Wandering Rust Knight. Get her!"

"Nixie, can you still do it?" Meliodas asked and I smirked.

"You know I still got it. . .captain."
