few weeks passed by and so far it been quite calm, although me and Namjoon had somewhat a tense ''relationship'' we would still somewhat speak to each other.

some of the coworkers in the office knew what was going on between me and Jungkook, some would assume that we were in a relationship but in reality we were not.

Jenny of course heard about me and Jungkook, she would attempt to be extremely friendly with Jungkook in my presence and without my presence since some of my coworkers would tell me that they would catch Jenny flirting with Jungkook.

i somewhat felt discouraged, i felt as if Jungkook would somewhat be better off with Jenny since she would attract most of his attention than me.

Namjoon knew about the rumor with regards to Jungkook and Jenny since he would give me weird looks whenever he would see me with Jungkook. he wouldn't give me looks prior the rumor circulating, i could tell on the inside he was rejoicing about what was going on.

i couldn't seem work in peace without my coworkers constantly telling me about what they just saw five or ten minutes ago.

Taehyung would walk with me to work most of the time since Jungkook was "helping" Jenny with something. Taehyung advised to take things slow with Jungkook or explore, meaning find somebody else.

my first thought was Namjoon but i immediately shut down the thought. i didn't want Namjoon to feel a sense of satisfaction and victory although i saw potential in Jungkook. i slowly started to understand why the office gave him the nickname "playboy" but i didn't want to believe it so soon.

i was searching something on my personal laptop that i brought to work until i heard a familiar voice greet me, "hi Ari!" i looked up and saw Jenny. i was fuming with anger, i could've sworn that my blood was boiling. i felt my ears burn due to the rage.

"hi Ms Choi, how can i help you?" i said in a calm tone.

"nothing major sweetie but i just wanted to ask you something, is Jungkook your boyfriend?" i rolled my eyes and sighed. i wasn't sure to lie or tell her the truth.

Jimin wasn't around, he was sick so i had to fill in his spot for the time being.

"yes Jungkook is my boyfriend and i don't like you being extra friendly with him so please leave him alone otherwise there would be no problems." i i raised my voice, high enough which made everyone around the reception area watch us, "you don't have to shout at me Ari, i only asked you a simple question." she retorted.

me and Jenny argued back and forth, more of my coworkers came to the reception. "ladies stop it!" i immediately stopped arguing with Jenny but i continued to stare at her with an angry expression on my face.

''what's going on her?'' i turned to look at the person, it was Namjoon. he didn't seem pleased about what conspired. ''Ari started attacking me with false accusations.'' Jenny lied, ''stop with your lies Jenny. i heard you asking Ari a question that triggered her to yell at you.'' i looked around to see who spoke and saw it was Felix. before the whole ordeal i saw Felix talking to one of Chris's friends, they stood somewhat close to the desk and when i was arguing with Jenny they heard everything we said, especially the million dollar question that triggered the argument.

Jenny looked over at Felix, i could tell she felt cornered...maybe busted. Jungkook and Taehyung rushed to the reception area, Jungkook and his way over to us. ''what happened?'' he asked, he sounded concerned. ''you three, in my office right now.'' Namjoon demanded. i sighed, Jungkook kept asking what happened but i didn't tell him anything.

we reached Namjoon's office, the three of us sat down, Namjoon was angered about what happened, he sat opposite us. ''hyung, what's going on?'' Jungkook asked Namjoon, ''don't you dare call me hyung! in this situation i'm not your damn hyung.'' Namjoon yelled at Jungkook, we all knew he was pissed off. ''you two, this is a place of work. what ever issues you both have, deal with it outside of work, not here.'' me and Jenny nodded, ''and if you want to steal other girl's men? be smart and don't behave like a little jealous middle school girl.'' i chuckled, i could feel Jenny's anger brewing next to me, ''and you, if you want to date do it privately you have my permission.'' he gave Jungkook a death stare. i could feel Jungkook crumbling, he was certainly embarrassed about what happened just by hearing Namjoon scold each one of us, ''Ari? control your temper, no man would want a wife that can't control her outbursts.'' i looked at Namjoon in utter shock and disgust, ''well i'm sorry for standing up for my relationship with Jungkook, i won't do it again.'' i retorted at him.

''watch your attitude and the way you speak at me, i'm your boss. show me some damn respect young lady.'' he scolded me, ''respect my ass, the person that should respect me is this whore right next to me.'' i was referring to Jenny, ''what did you say?'' Jenny asked me with pure shock in her voice, this resulted in us arguing again. ''enough! shut up!'' we stopped arguing, i scoffed, ''Jungkook, sort out your girlfriend, Jenny please control yourself and Ari...'' he paused, i looked at him with an angered expression on my face, ''stay behind.''

Jungkook and Jenny got up and left, i remained behind. as soon as Jungkook closed the door i sighed, ''what the fuck is your problem? speaking to me with such attitude.'' he asked, ''i'm sorry.'' that was my only answer, ''sorry? Ari... i don't give a shit about your hatred towards Jenny, please deal with it outside of work.''

i rolled my eyes, i was too angry to speak to anyone including him, he insisted on me knocking off from work early to clear my mind. i thanked him, i got up and left his office. i made my way back to the reception area, i gathered my belongings and left. before leving Namjoon assured that Chris and Hosoek would take over.

i left the building and made my way to my apartment complex as i was walking i heard someone call out to me, ''Ari! wait up!'' it was Jungkook, i continued walking. after a few seconds he finally caught up to him and grabbed my hand, ''yah! what's wrong? what happened at the office?'' he was concerned, i explained to him about what happened with me and Jenny and how i lied about the two of us being in a relationship. Jungkook was shocked about the idea of me claiming him, he asked if he should play along and i agreed.

i then classified Jungkook as my boyfriend.
