Unfortunately the door is locked shut and Taeyong is actually relieved that he doesn't have to see what's inside. When the little curiosity he has dies down he turns on his heel continuing to look around the crampy basement. Seemingly a lot of items capture his eyes but it feels like they're all linked to something behind that specific locked door. It doesn't help that every time he turns to look at the girl on the table her expressionless eyes are on him- talk about strange.

Perhaps she knows something, perhaps she doesn't.

It all doesn't matter when Taeyong begins to tuck away the laptop charger in his pocket and the faded looking laptop under his arm as he bids a sweet goodbye to the girl before leaving. He leaves the deranged school building in the woods, the outside is heavenly dark with a few stars splattered across the sky but the night doesn't scare Taeyong. All together and by foot he makes his way back into the sleepy city before going to the suburbs of houses. Once he's inside his house he leaves the laptop on the charger hoping that it'll charge, and makes a phone call to some suppliers.

Before he knows it the sun rises quicker then expected and when he looks at the clock he heads inside his room trying to catch some sleep before moving, again.

Sohye inhales and exhales after she's done stretching on the sidewalk in front of her grandparents house. The orange pink hue of sunlight cover the edges and peeks of the sky causing a faint adoration and masterpiece. She plugs in her earphones to her technological digital watch and sets her pace and a song with a beat. When the song starts she becomes one with every step of the neat jogging her way down the streets.

Crossing multiple of streets and seeing how empty most places are, gives her confidence to run with no restraints and not worry about how she looks. Sohye has always been a shy girl on the outside- the literal outside world but on the inside, around friends and family- she was really extroverted. Being in a new city meant a fresh clean state to start all over again. She likes and even at times loves her life, because it's not accompanied by any drama or hectic scenes. Her relationship with her parents including step family isn't chaotic, she gets along well with her step brother Mark and quiet recently, she's warmed up to her new grandparents hearts.

Having only positive thoughts on her jogging journey she travels a good mile and even gets something to drink before resting her body as she begins a light walk back. Her legs already used to the jolts and bolts of adrenaline running up all over her body gives her a big boost to run again strongly. After a long while she nears her street and from a distant there's a black shiny car that gets her attention. Wondering if it's parked right outside of her house she slows down her pace, still jogging but moving not as fast.

Now in the familiar neighborhood of her street her eyes instantly latch onto her neighbor who's outside. He leans on his rail with a cigarette in between the tips of his fingers looking at the screen of his phone. Yuta, oblivious to the stare he's getting or rather unaware of any person on the street continues to scroll through his news page scanning if their robbery made it on the local towns page.

Her eyes continue to roam over the figure of her neighbor wondering how he can be outside in the early morning leaning on the rail as his eyes are fixed on his phone but still look so handsome. Yuta, oblivious to the girl staring at him continues to scroll through the news seeing if anything related to Kun's diamonds and jewelry being stolen. So far there's nothing but it doesn't stop him from checking.

"You've got an admirer," Taeyong who steps out the porch drinking a can of beer nods in a direction catching Yuta's attention.

His eyes peer up for a spilt second sensing a stare, instantly catching the soft eyes of his neighbor. He's about to look back at his phone but seeing her feels like seeing a ghost. Sohye, now realising that she's been caught staring looks away quickly only to be met with a pole that she collides into. Losing her balance she falls flat on her butt and the only ambient sound she hears when her earphones fall out of her ears is the laugh of Taeyong. Getting up quickly she plugs her ears with the music avoiding any eye contact with the neighbor.

"Damn the duality is insane," Taeyong mummers leaning his back on the rail closing his eyes.

"What do you mean?" Yuta asks still searching vigorously through various websites.

Taeyong's about to answer straight away about how the neighborhood girl and then her duality being the girl abandoned in the basement at the school hidden in the woods are different, however his tongue freezes when he turns to his side seeing her stretch her body. She stretches her legs aside and squats down, stands up and holds one leg behind her back before doing the same thing- squatting down and holding the other leg.

Looks like a normal stretching routine that someone on training would do, but what holds his tongue is the fact that she's doing it in tiny black tight shorts with a white loose top exposing the sides of her black training bra and little cleavage peeking.

Yuta waits for a response and when he hears nothing he turns to Taeyong only to find him checking her out. He closes his phone smirking before pushing Taeyong inside his house. "Stop staring at the innocent girl,"

Taeyong scoffs rolling his eyes maintaining his own walk into the kitchen. "She's innocent alright, but I can crack her. Speaking about cracking, how's the laptop looking?"

Yuta shakes his head. "Years of damage. Where'd you get it?"

"Found it in some old place," Taeyong remarks indirectly lying yet telling the truth. "Think you can fix it?"

"Sure, but it'd have to be after work," Yuta states getting out a packet of bread making a simple sandwich consisting of cheese tomatoes and a burger patty. "Want?"

He holds his hand out to Taeyong but Taeyong shakes his head. "No. What I do want is the laptop fixed today."

Looking at the clock once Donghyuck enters the kitchen Yuta picks up his work backpack along with the laptop and leaves the house. "Be here by 23:59. I'll probably have done something."

"I said today, why are you telling me to come a minute before the next day you dick?"

Yuta and Donghyuck chortle at Taeyong's low rage, but Taeyong says nothing as Yuta's already gone out.

06:59

Taeyong stays around a little to ask Donghyuck how are the adjustments and how it is staying with Yuta. Donghyuck answers the questions honestly saying it feels normal and that he prefers staying with Yuta than his mum.

After some time, Taeyong gets up and begins to head out. His phone rings half way and he stares at it. It's Yoon-ah. He smirks. He's guessing she saw the picture. "Yes?"

"Who the fuck is that girl?" She spits out bitterly.

"Yoon-ah-"

"I asked you a fucking question!" She yells out. "Who the fuck is she?"

"Why are you getting worked up? Didn't you say you don't want me anymore?" Taeyong asks her with a cocky smirk on his face. "And besides it's not like you're a saint. You're a whore whoring around. My whole social media feed was you with old fucking guys."

She shuts up completely, not daring to comment on the situation but then her smart mouth opens up. "The only difference between me being with those men and you being with that girl, huh whore, is that I didn't sleep with them and you slept with that girl."

Taeyong chuckles. "Knowing you, I know you slept with them. So, there's no difference, my little slut." Taeyong cuts the call and heads out the house and straight into his car.

Meanwhile Sohye's eyes watch the figure of the guy known as Taeyong enter his posh car and drive away. If only him and his friends were nice guys, it'd be easier to move on from her ex boyfriend Jaehyun. About some months ago, she decided that she had had enough of him and wanted to finally let her step parents know about her toxic relationship with Jaehyun.

For years now she had been quiet about all the verbal abuse, body shaming as well as near physically fights she'd have with him. Feeling like a burden to her new step family, she didn't want to tell them about any of it, anything that was going on between her and Jaehyun but then, Mark, her step brother noticed that Jaehyun was a creep. Mark constantly gave her advice to tell him if anything was bothering ber, because he saw signs that weren't healthy.

It's not until he caught Jaehyun about to slap her that he stepped in and beat Jaehyun up in ways that would make Jaehyun pissed off. On the same day, she broke up with him via text message and informed her step family of her relationship with Jaehyun.

Her step family being sorrowful for her gave her the support she needed whenever. They started off by placing a legal warrant for Jaehyun to stay away from her since he practically became a stalker and would follow her everywhere, they reported him to the police when he'd began to harass her online and as a final straw decided that it was best if she moved away from the scene for some time to get away from Jaehyun.

She closes the drapes of the light curtain. Letting the warm cream orange hue shine through the curtains and into the house that was peacefully quiet, she sits down for a bit to enjoy the quietness. Everyone's still sleeping. After some time she gets up and goes up the stairs of the house going straight to her room.

Closing the door behind her she exhales quickly entering her joined in shower and washes her body clean before she starts getting ready. She dresses in a short white fitting plaid skirt with a long sleeved white plaid crop top. She then decides between pairing the outfit with white sneakers or white knee length tight boots, looking at herself through the mirror - with one sneaker on her left foot and one boot on her right.

When looking at herself from equal sides of her body she frowns a bit when remembering Jaehyun's cruel words. He'd tell her to cover her body because she wasn't attractive, that her legs and arms where too fat, yet she weighed less than 60kg. He'd fill her up with so many negative aspects of her body that she got so insecure in anything she wore. When coming all the way here to her step grandparents house, she thought that she could change and switch things up a bit to regain back her shattered confidence. But now it seems like even that is wrong.

Deciding to go with the sneakers she walks out of her room to avoid any distraught thoughts. Knocking lightly on the door opposite hers, she hears a low raspy groan. "It's open," and enters into the deep curtain dark room for Mark.

"Mark?" She tip toes quietly avoiding to step on any of the clothes on the floor. She finally gets to the window and opens up the curtains wide enough instantly causing light to burst into his room.

He hisses and shoves his head deeper into the thin layered blanket that seemed to block out the sun. Giggling a bit she sits on the edge of the bed shaking him and calling him to wake up.

"You promised me we'd go shopping today," She says while calling repeatedly on his name. "You promised, come on get up,"

"I'm up," he mutters lowly but doesn't pull the blanket down from his body.

"C'mon it's still early, we've got a full day today. I'll even treat you," she says and he peeks his head out from the covers quickly withdrawing when the light hits his eyes.

"I'll get ready, let me just get out of my clothes,"

She stands up from the edge already being used to Mark sleeping half naked on the bed. Being so happy for him tagging along with her, she owes Mark a lot of her gratitude. Not only for sticking up for her when Jaehyun was about to slap her, but also staying close by her side and watching out for her- almost like what a real brother would do.

As she's downstairs opening up the TV she instantly mutes the tv when a loud bursting sound erupts of some music channel that her and Mark were watching last night. She tunes the channel to the news station checking the weather broadcast but, still on mute, she witnesses terrible censored images of a bloody man along with a few other people who were injured badly. Being captivated by the news she doesn't notice Mark who sits on the coach eating some cereal. "What happened?"

"They were robbed on the train, last night. He's dead, it seems." She recaps still in shock of the images. According to the bold tittle on the screen they were all robbed and assaulted badly, but one of the guys belonged to a rich household and they stole a lot of things worth millions. "I wonder if they'll get caught, 'cause things like this piss me off."

There's nothing more she can say but hum in agreement of her own words.
