The guards left without searching the second floor, I inhaled in relief. Diluc looked up at me and said, "I want answers"

We all sighed and walked down, "I just heard about some thieves, though I must say, I like your guts for trying to steal the Holy lyre." we were already busted.

"What can I say except thank you and the real thief is still out there though. As the honorary knight of Mond, why would I steal such a thing?" He stared me up and down, "So it's you two.." he mumbled.

With a smile, I opened the door to find Jean, and a scream of fear left my mouth. "Jean! I truly didn't steal it!" I defenselessly put my hand in the air as I slowly back away to the door. But the door was suddenly locked, it was Diluc's doing.

I grit my teeth in anger as I glared at Diluc, "You traitor." I muttered with pure hatred. "Holy your horses, jean came here as Jean, not as the acting grand master." It did make me calm down a bit but just a bit. Aether calmly placed his arm around my shoulder to ease my tension.

"What a surprise." She gasps in surprise, "I heard about the holy lyre but I never suspected it to be you. So, the sound of the Holy lyre can purify and bring calmness to Stormterror."

I chuckled at myself, feeling embarrassed at myself for making such a show of myself, "I am sorry for earlier." I whispered as I tried to hide behind Aether.

"I believe you, Dvalin getting corrupted by the abyss is not truly hard to believe and also, Dvalin has no reason to betray Mondstadt. Let's solve this situation in secret because of pressures from fatui" She spoke as Diluc grumbled, "Hmph, that's why I don't like the knight of favonious."

"Anyways, why do you trust these outlanders so easily?" he asked, "My superior, even you trust him, sir." But he got a snarky remark.

Wait she called him sir? "Sir?" I asked but both grumbled and looked the other way.

I quietly turn my head to Paimon and whispered, "I ship it." She quickly twisted her head with a surprised expression. "What do you mean?" She asked in a low voice.

"Don't you think that Jean and Diluc are cute, Diluc wants her to take credit and that he is or used to her superior and they seem to chill as well." I said, can't stop grinning like an idiot, "..I slightly agree." She replied in a shy voice which was unusual for Paimon.

"I can clearly hear you." Our eyes widened but Sighed in relief when Aether said, I thought that Diluc was the one who said that.

Thankfully the other didn't hear us.

We both quickly shut up, Nobody spoke for half a minute, "Wow! What an awkward situation." I snickered with a chaotic grin.

Then after that Jean started talking about the four winds, etc etc....it's tiring.

But what made me break of my imaginary world was the pain in my heart, a pained scream left my mouth as I fall to the ground.

Dark smoke starts surrounding me? No, it's coming out of me. "Aether.." A mumbled, begging to him, begging for something! Something that will stop the pain.

"I am sorry! I am sorry! I will stop it, I am trying, I will fix this." A feminine voice said in desperation but not a familiar one, it seemed to be in pain as well.

My vision was completely dark at this rate, the voice of Aether panicking and that unfamiliar voice was the only thing that made me feel alive.

Suddenly a blue light glows, It collided with my body and suddenly the pain died down. The pained voice stopped, Only Aether's...

I opened my eyes to find myself laying in Aether's lap, "I am sorry, It seems like my heart burned from seeing the beautiful face of Jean." With a light smack, Aether chuckled with a miserable face.
