"Well the thing is...-" I got interrupted by a soldier throwing his spear at me, I was successfully able to move away from it but the shock was real. "Assassin! We are here to arrest you!" The man spoke with spite, the adepti tched and spoke, "Annoying human....Traveller take my power and see them gone." he spoke as I felt powerful, my body felt light.

Six soldiers came running here, they surrounded us, Paimon whimpered and hid behind me. "I suggest that you surrender." the soldier said as he pointed his polearm at me, inches away from my throat.

I gritted my teeth as I summoned my daggers and pushed it away from my throat. Aether stood in front of me, trying to protect while standing in a fighting stance.

"Never." Instead of us, someone from our behind spoke, Two women wearing a cloak, their faces covered, their color scheme was purple and cyan.

They were cicin mages, before we could say anything they both trapped us in an electro shield. They quickly fought together against the soldiers, we tried to break out of the shield but it was not long before we understood that they were trying to save us and not trap us.

"What is happening?!" Paimon spoke as she gripped her hair tightly, trying to process the situation that her enemies are trying to protect her. "I think that Childe ordered them to. But it's highly unlikely." I said as the mages knock out every soldier that tries to fight them.

"But at least you are safe." Aether spoke with a gentle smile spreading across his face. He holds my left hand while Paimon flies near my right soldier.

As every single soldier is out, they turn around and face us. Walk towards us and free us out of the shield. "Why are you protecting us?" I asked with an emotionless expression, they helped us but they are still our enemy. "We are ordered to." they both fall to their knees as the ground slowly takes them in until they are completely in the Earth.

"What the fuck was that?" I pointed at the place where those two were. "Powers from the abyss. The ability to merge with the ground is not hard." The moon carver who observed the fight spoke.

"Anyways now listen." I said as I explained the situation of Rex Lapis dying and us being mistaken as the assassins.

The adepti quietly took the information in, He stood still showing no emotion now any words. "preposterous...." he suddenly mumbled.

He shouted in anger, after awhile he sighed and spoke, "Travellers, one is aware of the unjust placed upon you, One must consult with the others. Take your sigil of permission, find Cloud retainer and Mountain shaper. There is a conquerors of demon, a yakhsha. Go to wanshu inn there you shall seek him." He said as he disappeared and left.

Leaving us three alone, "So....We have to find, A yakhsha, Cloud retainer and Moutain shaper...."

I stood in front of Wangshu inn, We have already met the other two adepti and now it is time for the last one, Yakhsha. The other Adepti's scene were skipped because the author was lazy and deleted the useless scene and is the big simp for the Yakhsha, weirdo author.

We entered the Wangshu inn and walked up the stairs and went to the balcony. "He is not here..." Paimon pouted as she looked around.

The sky was clear and bright, Aether and I walked up to the corner and gazed at the beautiful scenery. "So relaxing..."I mumbled as I closed my eyes and left the wind kissing my cheek. [Hehe Venti]

"We were here to meet the Yakhsha but he didn't let me say a word to him! Do Adepti always have a stick up thei-" Aether slapped his hand on my mouth, preventing me from speaking.

"Oh so you met Xiao, the Vigilant Yakhsha? He usually doesn't meet humans, he must be in a good mood." She spoke in a thinking manner.
