Dear Sara,

You wouldn't believe the things people send. Birthday invitations, wedding invitations, marriage proposals. And yes, underwear. People are mental! I always felt suffocated when we would be out and about, especially with all of us. They would swarm, try to grab us, tear our clothes for a souvenir. The things in the mail were much easier to deal with. But they would still creep me out.

One lady sent me the keys to her house. Told me to stop by anytime, day or night. She could be my hotel if I was ever in town. I shudder every time I think of that. Can you imagine? Because I sing for an audience, I'm supposed to want that type of attention.

All I want is silence. You're right about that. Now that some time has passed I see that much of what I felt was due to the close quarters. No time to think, yeah? No quiet. That's all I wanted. I tried to get it when I could but it never seemed like enough. The boys would find me, silence over.

And don't get me started over the pranks they'd pull. Especially Lou.

I thought of something from your first letters. You wrote in March but said it was your first semester, who starts in March? Sounds unusual. Not that it really matters now. Just curious I suppose.

So will you or won't you send some of the others? You have stirred quite the mystery with those secret letters and now I want to read them. No pressure of course. But don't be surprised when I ask again.

This month has been peaceful, finally. Hoping it last for a while. Once the album drops it will all be mental again so I need to prepare. Hope this finds you doing well.

My imagination runs wild with all of the possibilities celebrities might get in the mail. I'm sure Sara's letter is so simple compared to what could show up.

I'm currently working on the timeline of these letters. IF Sara sends her private ones, the dates will be out of order and I'll add a little note from her at the top. 😉
