Diana is almost a carbon copy of her mother, Artemis: she's strategic, calculating, and sly. Before rushing into battle she analyzes the situation, comes up with a plan, and then makes her move. Even though she isn't as smart as Athena, or Athena's daughter, it's clear that intelligence isn't something that she's lacking.
Another trait that resemblances her connection to Artemis is how she can keep her cool even in the craziest moments. She doesn't even know how she does it: it's as if something takes over her body, and even if she feels as if she wants to scream, she doesn't lose focus. Somehow, this makes people want to talk to her.
Relationships, both romantic and platonic, scare her. She hasn't sworn off love like her mother, but she's still terrified of getting too close to someone. Especially during these times where war could arrive at any moment, and she never knows who she might lose. But who knows?: the feelings can arrive at any moment, and she can hide them, but there's no stopping them. (Curse you, Aphrodite)
However, something that makes her different from her mother, except for the whole feelings thing, is her peacefulness. You see, whilst Artemis wouldn't hesitate to attack, Diana doesn't always see a battle, or fighting, as the answer. She believes that one should try to talk out the situation first, and hopefully avoid the fight. If that doesn't work, then it's the only time she can allow herself to shoot an arrow. Blood shouldn't be spilled without a reason why.
F E A R S :
The War
The Battle scares Diana, even if she'll never admit it, at least not for a very long time. She's afraid of what it will cause, what can happen, and how the future will turn out if the battle begins.
Failure
This is a pretty obvious one: she's scared of failing. Sure, scared of failing her mission and not being able to stop the war, but also so much more. Scared of failing to make her mother proud. Scared of failing to find out who she is. Failure terrifies her, and she would give anything, even her own life, not to fail.
Death
Diana is from Olympus, where people are literally immortal, and her own mother is a goddess. She knows what will happen if she dies, but it feels like something so surreal, so fake. She's not used to it, and doubts she ever will be.
Love
As mentioned earlier, Diana is afraid - or well, maybe not really afraid. It's hard to describe how she feels about it - of love. Both platonic and romantic. It's just that she's afraid of them having to disappear, or her leaving them, and never be able to fill the empty hole in her heart. This is extra difficult when you learn that she actually wants to find someone to love.
Doves
Okay, okay, don't laugh - there's a reason to why she's terrified of doves. First of all, it's not every bird; she can deal with all other types, and loves owls, but doves? Nope. Please burn them all and let them rot in the deepest pits of Tartarus. Whilst the reason for this fear is unclear, there's a theory to why she dislikes them: they are Aphrodite's sacred bird, and Aphrodite is the goddess of love, something Diana fears and dislikes, so the birds remind her of the divinity.

(Jennifer Lawrence is perfect as Artemis and you can't convince me to believe the opposite)
O T H E R :
• Her bow is made of silver, and turns into a bracelet when she's not using it, so that she can bring it anywhere she wants. When she takes it out, a bag with arrows will immediately appear on her back.
• Her "Birthday", if you can call it that, is on May 25th
• She absolutely loves dogs. And walks in the woods. Oh, and tea and hot chocolate.
• Except for being great at bow and arrows, she's also an excellent knife thrower, and always has one hidden somewhere.
