"What is your favourite thing about life?"

I'll be honest... it's been hard to name anything I like about life these days. But I'll say my favourite thing about life is how it can be beautiful despite hardships. There is beauty even in the darkness. For example, I've missed being able to see more friends, but I have grown much closer to my family during the pandemic, and I am grateful for that. I've also been able to reflect on myself and where I am falling short in life... particularly with the protests going on in the United States for BLM. Without the pandemic and the protests, chances are I wouldn't take the time to reflect on myself and improving myself so much. So I guess summed up, my favourite thing about life is that even though it is not easy (and Jesus said it wouldn't be easy) there is beauty in the dark times... and that's just a small taste of the beauty that awaits in heaven!
