chapter one
1st September
Dear William,
It's been two months since I last saw you. You haven't changed much. You're more tan, probably from your trip to Greece. How was that? Did you have fun? Meet any girls? (Or boys, I'm not here to judge).
My summer was bland. My aunt and uncle visited which was.... interesting to say the least. My mom spilled her wine all over my aunts new white dress and she flipped out! It was hilarious. Although I probably shouldn't have laughed as much as I did considering I got sent to my room with no food (It was totally worth it though).
Things at home have been the same. Dad yelling at Mom, Mom yelling at Dad. Dad yelling at me, me yelling at Dad. Mom yelling at me, me yelling at Mom. Them yelling at each other for yelling at me. Nothing special or new.
Sometimes I wonder if things like this happen to you too, your parents yelling at you for being you. Probably not. My family has always been different and not in a good way.
My brother almost found these letters you know. The risks I take ha ha. That.... was pathetically sad. I'm sorry :).
Anyways I helped the new girl out today. She's nice. She was really sweet when I talked to her. She transferred over from Ohio, moved because of her dad's work. You would probably like her. She would definitely like you, I can't seem to think of anyone who wouldn't like you... You're perfect.
Sandra was a bitch today though. You should really break up with her. I'm not telling you this because I'm jealous or anything, (I promise) but because she is just mean for no reason. She got called out on her behaviour by Ms Cole though, but you probably already knew that from her.
This letter's been a bit short but I just wanted to write down what happened today as I've been stressed recently. Anyways, there's not much more to say. I'll try to write to you next week. Even though not much will probably change as I have an incredibly boring life.
Sincerely,
Ethan.
