JUSTICE
Sincere's Game: Chapter 4
Justice
"How about we introduce ourselves now? I'll go first, my name is-"
The African American guy with the puffed chest and strong-looking physique stood up from the circle.
"Noo, hold on." Number #7 hated the boredom of having to take turns introducing themselves.
Gabriella was relieved, she looked up to the sky. Oh, thank you!
"I think we should do something different."
The players look at him sully.
"What do you think we should do?" Player #6 scratched his head.
"I think it's best if everyone plays cards."
"Cards?"
"Yeah, playing cards. It will be fun for the group, and everyone can open up more."
Number #7's deep voice pushed the idea even further.
"I see what you mean." Number #6 replied.
"Does anyone want to play cards with me? I don't really know any games, but I can try my best."
"I'll play!" Number #1 shouted. That was quick. She really was bored huh. Gabriella thought.
"I'll join in too!" shouted Number #10. Omar was his name.
And with a very tone-deaf statement, player #2 got up and muffled, "I'll play." stood up, and walked over to their group.
After that, everyone started playing cards with one another. Gabriella happened to play with Sincere and Number #4, Amy. While Number #3, Number #6, and Number #8, or Daisy, Christopher, and Arthur played together.
Table by table, they would move seats so that they were facing across from each other at the tables.
Players would go enjoy snacks from the snack table, and several players went to the restrooms. The door to the classroom would be left open as a result.
Overall, the players opened up more, and had a nice time away from the stress.
"What do you think Eve?" Beckoned the gamemaster.
Eve was a codename, given to the admin watching over the game. The blonde woman was chewing gum, with her arms crossed, up against the side of the wall next to the door. As she was leaning against the wall with one foot on the wall and the other on the floor to balance her.
"What do you want?"
"Don't you think Number #7 is a leader?"
"I don't have any say in this." She countered.
"Cmon! Who do you think is the smartest here?" The gamemaster exaggerated.
Eve formed a bubble from the bubble gum she was chewing on. It popped momentarily and she responded, "I don't care. Probably number #5, she looks nice." Though, her thoughts were completely different from her words. There's no such thing as the word smart, only people who are dumb think that way. And in fact, there is one person Eve, or the admin has in mind. From the very beginning of the game.
Sincere...
"One hour remaining!" Shouted out an administrator. Actually, it was a new administrator, who looked very serious and confident at his job.
The players looked at the administrator, and Omar, number #10, stood up and exclaimed, "Guys, I think it's time to go back into a group. It has already been an hour."
One by one, people started getting up out of their seats, and headed towards the middle of the room, where they sit down in a circle on the floor. Number #7, Justice, asked everyone to introduce their group members from when they were playing cards.
"My name is Christopher, and this is Arthur. He likes to read and study in his free time. His parents are from Europe and his family is struggling to make ends meet right now."
Oh, everyone thought.
"Me personally, I like to go skiing in Colorado whenever I have the time. But recently, my parents and I haven't had the money to afford those trips anymore.
"Also, this is Daisy, (pointing at number #3) she's an artist, and her favorite animal is a raven."
The group watched silently. The students didn't mean to present like they were actually in class, but it felt a little comforting for everyone there.
Meanwhile, there was a scuffle for who was to present.
"You go."
"No, you go."
"No, you."
They started shoving each other.
"No, go!"
"No!"
"I'll go."
Amy (#4) stood up and went towards the center. "My name is Amy, and these two are Gabriella and Sincere. Sincere likes to..." She forgets.
Sincere, in a desperate situation, mimics a word using his mouth.
"Oh yeah, he likes to take photos."
Sincere's eyes widen, "No..." in a muffled tone. Photography..., he meant.
"Gabriella likes to hang out with her friends, and... watch Netflix."
Gabriella reacts awfully confused and tries to use clairvoyance to tell Amy to say something else.
"Oh yeah, and she wants to go to Yale one day."
"As for me, I like to read, listen to music, and I like to garden my plants. I want to go to Stanford, but me and my family have always been pretty poor, so my options are limited, Hehe."
Gabriella looks at Amy, seeing her eyes, she realizes something.
Number #7 walks up. "Hey guys, it's Justice. This is Patricia, and this is Omar. And it's weird, all three of us have money problems. Isn't it a coincidence?"
The group looks at each other first. Seeing how there's more people who has had similar situations as they do. It's funny, because they all have something to relate to. Looks like everyone is in need of the scholarship just as much as the other person. Though, a couple people have already realized it though. One person has started to think it through.
Amy, sitting down at first, stands up as she comes to one horrifying conclusion. She shuttered hopelessly, as her eyes widen with fear. She determines, "What if it's not."
People shook it off at first, but after a couple of seconds, they start putting the pieces together, until...
Oh, my goodness. Gabriella thought.
"What the he** is this!?" Justice screamed dramatically, which triggered a chain of other's screams.
Daisy. "Do you just want to feel entertained!?"
Kaitlyn. "Do you think we're just your toys!?"
Patricia. "You guys are sick!"
However, Justice was the first person to walk directly towards the admin. With his shoulder's brooding as he takes each step, he uses the momentum and grabs the admin by the collar of her black collared shirt. Eve, the admin, who was leaning on the wall, looks at him, with eyebrows inwardly slanted down, and eyes glaring at Justice's. The blondie is actually pretty tall, taller than all the other students. Though Justice matched her height, and the two of them.
"Justice don't!" Number #8 shouted.
Omar, in a hurry, wrapped his arms around Justice and yelled, "Stop it!"
Justice was holding was still holding onto the admin's collar, shuffling their positions as Omar tries to pull him away.
However scary it may seem; the admin had showed no signs of care. "Show me what you got."
"If you hurt me anyways, you will lose your chance of earning the reward."
Justice's fierce eyes, in wrath, took the taunt to the extremes. He raised his arm.
By now, number #8, and number #9, Arthur and Omar, held onto him. And Arthur tried to pull back his arm to prevent him from losing out on the scholarship.
Amy, number #4, sat back, with her eyes watery and drops of water that stained the carpet floor. "STOP, PLEASE STOP!"
As it seemed like time froze, Justice knew he couldn't lay one on her, for if he did, him and his family would continue to struggle.
He put her down, and in consequence, he roared, "AAAAGGHHHH!!"
