Previously on Survivor...

After Gil's closest ally left in the game was voted out, he was stuck in the middle with one group consisting of Lorraine, Nadine, and Sherman, and the other alliance containing Ahmed, George, and Jasmine. When Sherman made Gil uncomfortable, Gil knew who he was going to side with and sent Sherman home.

Night 27

Fuaguerra - Post-Tribal

(The six members of Fuaguerra head back to camp and set their torches down)

Gil: Now, that was a hard decision. 

Nadine: It must have been.

Gil: I had to go with what was best for my game.

George: Well, I'd say you made the right decision.

(Nadine and Jasmine walk to the beach)

Nadine: Thank you for not voting me out. I'm so grateful.

Jasmine: Yeah, no problem. We never even wanted to in the first place.

Jasmine (CON): Nadine and I have been getting close lately, but George and Ahmed might take note of that. I know I'm third in that alliance. Maybe it's time to find a new group. 

(Lorraine, George, and Ahmed stand at camp)

George: So, are you affiliated with Jasmine in any way?

Lorraine: What? Me? No. We have some sort of a friendship but we're not aligned.

Ahmed: Yeah, there's clearly no all-girls alliance going on here.

Lorraine: Exactly.

Gil (from the shelter): Haven't you noticed that Nadine and Jasmine have been getting close lately?

George: Yeah, but she knows who she's loyal to.

Ahmed: Well...

Ahmed (CON): As of now, I'm not entirely sure that Jasmine is going to stick to our alliance. Hopefully at some point Jasmine's gonna realize that she's in the majority. I don't think George realizes that alliances are not set in concrete.

Day 28

Reward Challenge

Jeff: Come on in, guys!

(The castaways walk in and stand on their mat)

Jeff: You guys ready to get to today's reward challenge?

Castaways: Yes!

Jeff: Today we're going to do something a little different. I'm going to show you the reward before I tell you about the challenge. We're up to day 28 in this game. You've been away for nearly a month. Today, you'll be playing for love. Your loved ones are coming out now.

(Everyone is excited)

Jeff: George, get ready for some love!

(George's father walks towards the mat as George runs up and gives him a hug, with small tears welling up in George's eyes)

George: How are things?

Bennie: Okay. I'm so glad to see you.

George: Me too.

Jeff: You two clearly have a close relationship.

George: I mean, ever since my mom passed away, we only have each other. That's it. 

Jeff: All right. One last hug and then it's time for you to go sit on the bench.

(George and Bennie hug one last time before Bennie sits down on a nearby bench)

Jeff: Lorraine, let's bring out your boyfriend, Oscar.

(Lorraine starts crying as she runs over to Oscar)

Lorraine: I've missed you so much, babe.

Oscar: We better win this reward.

Lorraine: Yeah, we better.

(Lorraine and Oscar hug)

Jeff: Okay. Oscar, you can now join Bennie on the Loved Ones bench.

Lorraine: Love you.

(Lorraine and Oscar kiss as Oscar walks to the bench)

Jeff: Now it's Jasmine's turn.

(Jasmine's father, Brady comes rushing out to hug Jasmine)

Jasmine: Daddy!

(Jasmine sobs in her father's arms)

Brady: Wow. I can't believe you made it this far.

Jasmine: Me neither. It's amazing. I love you so much, Dad.

Brady: I love you too.

Jeff: Off to the Loved Ones bench you go.

Jasmine: Bye!

Brady: Bye, honey.

(Brady walks to the bench)

Jeff: Nadine, let's bring out your husband, Yuri.

(Nadine and Yuri walk to each other and trap each other into a warm embrace. Nadine is shown to cry hysterically)

Nadine: How are the kids?

Yuri: Everything is fine, sweetie.

Nadine: Okay.

Jeff: Nadine, how difficult was it for you to leave your family to come out here?

Nadine: I debated going at one point. It was so hard for me.

Jeff: And here you are, at day 28. All right. Yuri, time for you to say goodbye for now.

Yuri: I hope you win.

Nadine: Bye! 

(Yuri heads to the Loved Ones bench)

Jeff: Gil, you wanna guess who's coming out?

Gil: Um, either my son or my wife!

Jeff: Jonah, you can come out now.

(Gil and Jonah hug. Gil is not shown to be crying)

Jeff: So, no interaction between the two of you.

Jonah: I'd say we understand each other pretty well.

Gil: I guess, despite our differences.

Jeff: Which are?

Gil: Jonah, well, he's not into the fishing business at all, and that's quite disappointing.

Jonah: To you.

Gil: What?

Jonah: I said it's disappointing to you. I don't care-

Jeff: Okay. Let's bring out our final Loved One, Ahmed's sister, Farah!

(Jonah heads to the bench)

(Farah comes rushing to Ahmed before he even gets the chance to move)

Farah: Ahmed!

Ahmed: Oh, my God! It's you.

(The two hug for a lasting period of time)

Jeff: Okay, time for Farah to head to the bench now.

Farah: Love you.

Ahmed: Bye.

Jeff: Okay, let's get to today's challenge. Loved ones, listen, because this involves you too. Castaways, you'll use a bucket to scoop water from the ocean and toss it into a second bucket, which will be held by your Loved One. Your Loved One then has to catch the water and pour it into a bucket hanging from a seesaw. When your bucket is full enough, the seesaw will lower, a flag will raise. First duo of loved ones to raise their flag wins reward. For the winning castaway, you'll be able to take your Loved One back to camp, where you'll enjoy a feast of spaghetti and meatballs, with gelato for dessert and soda to wash it all down. We'll draw for spots and then we'll get started.

Highlights:

1. Ahmed and Farah, Lorraine and Oscar, and Jonah and Gil are the most accurate and fast, which are followed by George and Bennie being the fastest of the six pairs. Nadine and Yuri and Jasmine and Brady struggle with the challenge as Brady struggles to catch and Nadine never ends up with a substantial amount of water.

2. Ahmed's strategy of collecting as much water as he possibly can pays off as Ahmed and Farah rise to the lead. However, over time Farah is less skilled at catching and grows tired. Jonah and Gil catch up with Jonah's incredible accuracy. 

3. After one hour, it turns out to be a blowout win for Jonah and Gil.

Jeff: Jonah and Gil win reward!

(Gil kisses Jonah on the forehead as Ahmed frets. The others are happy for him, smiling and congratulating him. The castaways return to their mat while the Loved Ones stand opposite to them. Gil and Jonah are standing with Jeff)

Jeff: Jonah and Gil, well-deserved. You guys are in for an afternoon of spaghetti and gelato and Jonah will spend the night at camp. As we all know, no reward is ever fun on your own. Select one person and their Loved One to join you. 

(The five other castaways look hopeful but anxious)

Gil: Since he was so close, I select Ahmed.

(Ahmed exhales and joins Gil and Jonah with Farah)

Jeff: And just to make things more interesting, pick one more person...

Gil: Um, sorry guys, but I'm going to pick Lorraine and Oscar to join us.

(The camera pans to George and Jasmine's shocked faces, with their loved ones looking despondent. Nadine starts sniffling)

(Lorraine hugs Gil and mouths 'thank you' when she joins the group with Oscar)

Jeff: Lorraine and Oscar joining the others. You guys will enjoy a delicious feast and a night at camp. As for everyone else, I'm afraid I've got nothing for you. Say one last goodbye to your Loved Ones and then head back to camp.

(George hugs Bennie and Brady comforts Jasmine by giving her a kiss, while Yuri holds Nadine in a tight embrace)

(Gil, Ahmed, and Lorraine head back to camp with their Loved Ones while the losing Loved Ones disappear out of view. The three unlucky castaways return to camp as well)

Day 28

Fuaguerra - Post-Reward

(Jovial music plays as the winners arrive back at camp with their Loved Ones to see a feast of spaghetti and meatballs along with desert theirs for the eating)

Farah: This is a nice camp!

Gil: I'd say we manage for ourselves pretty well.

Ahmed: I agree.

(The six sit down on the benches provided for them)

Oscar: So what are the alliances like right now?

Gil: Lorraine and Nadine are on one side-

Lorraine: But Nadine has a closer relationship with Jasmine. And George, Ahmed, and Jasmine are together.

Ahmed: Gil voted with us last night.

Lorraine (CON): Things are so uncertain right now. I'll work to get Nadine on my side if I have to. Otherwise I'll just go with the majority.

Jonah: Well, I'm excited for whoever's going to win Immunity.

Gil: I'm going to try my hardest.

Ahmed: We all are. Anyway, I don't really wanna vote out Jasmine. She's my ally.

Gil: Tricky, tricky stuff.

Farah: What are we waiting for? Let's eat!

Oscar: Yeah.

(The six winners eat the feast)

Ahmed: Gil, why didn't you pick George and Jasmine?

Gil: They didn't perform well.

Oscar: That's the reasoning?

Lorraine: I'm fine with that. It's okay.

(The camera focuses on George, Jasmine, and Nadine as they tend to the fire)

Nadine: I haven't been on reward in a long time.

Jasmine: That must suck.

Nadine: It does.

Jasmine: Why did he pick Lorraine?

George: Because she managed to steal away his time for a little while. She was sucking up to him.

Jasmine: That's not okay.

Nadine: Well, to be fair, we needed to vote Ahmed out.

George: I understand that.

Jasmine (CON): *crying* I just... really wanted to see my dad! And... Lorraine... took the opportunity away from me!

Nadine: Jasmine, you wanna go for a walk?

Jasmine: Sure. Okay.

(Nadine and Jasmine travel to the well)

Nadine: What do you think of an all-girls alliance between me, you, and Lorraine?

Jasmine: If I do that, George and Ahmed are going to hate me.

Nadine: We'll get Gil.

Jasmine: We don't know where his loyalties lie.

Nadine: Okay. Just something to think about.

(The camera pans back to the main camp where Gil, Lorraine, and Ahmed arrive back to camp)

Ahmed: We're back!

(Jasmine approaches Gil and sets him aside)

Jasmine: Nadine just approached me for an all-girls alliance including you.

Gil: I don't know what I'm going to do. Truly.

Jasmine: Me neither.

Gil (CON): Everyone's on edge about what's happening. It's all because of Nadine and Jasmine's close relationship. The vote should be easy, but maybe I need to evaluate my options.

Day 29

Fuaguerra

(The camera transitions to the sun rising as Lorraine, Jasmine, and Nadine relax in the shelter)

Jasmine: The guys are all out fishing. 

Lorraine: Yep.

Nadine: So I was thinking of an all-girls alliance between us three. We can bring in Gil.

Lorraine: I don't know. Maybe.

Jasmine: Do you wanna be safe?

Lorraine: Yeah.

Jasmine: Okay. Well, tell us when you know of what you're gonna do.

Lorraine (CON): Jasmine and Nadine know that I have a good relationship with Gil, so they're trying to get me on their side. I need to tell the guys about this.

(Lorraine approaches George, Gil, and Ahmed, who are swimming)

George: Jasmine talk to you?

Lorraine: Yeah. Are you and Ahmed still with her?

Ahmed: I think we are, honestly. We'll have to talk to her first.

Gil (CON): I can't let the others come together to vote me out. I need to take action for myself soon.

(George and Ahmed approach Jasmine)

George: Are we still voting together?

Jasmine: Totally.

Ahmed: So you're not working with Nadine?

Jasmine: We can just vote out Gil.

George: But Nadine and Lorraine are coming after us probably. Gil would kind of be a waste. He's an ally.

Jasmine: Okay. I just don't know what to do.

(Jasmine walks off)

George: We need to get Nadine out of here.

Ahmed: I know.

George (CON): By eliminating Nadine, that forces Jasmine to come over to our side. We need to make sure at least four people are on board with this plan.

Day 30

Immunity Challenge

(Dramatic music plays as the castaways head into their next Immunity challenge)

Jeff: Come on in, guys!

(The six castaways stand on their mat)

Jeff: Are you ready for today's Immunity challenge?

Castaways: Yeah!

Jeff: All right. Gil, you need to bring me that back, please.

Gil: Dang it.

(Gil hands Jeff the Immunity necklace)

Jeff: Once again, Immunity is back up for grabs. For today's challenge, you have to is stand on your perch in the middle of the water longer than anyone else. This is a pure test of endurance and will. I won't make it easy for you though: at certain points in the challenge, I'm going to come out with some food items. If you want them, you can step down, but you forfeit your shot at immunity. The last one standing wins and is guaranteed a one in five shot at winning this game. We'll draw for spots and then we'll get started. 

Highlights:

1. The castaways stay on their perches for the first thirty minutes. When Jeff comes out with a cheeseburger, Jasmine immediately starts to feel uncomfortable and steps off, and runs to the cheeseburger. Nadine jumps off almost a second after Jasmine, and they agree to share the cheeseburger.

2. At the one hour mark, Lorraine decides she can't take it anymore and steps off. She is disappointed that there is no food available for her.

3. The challenge progresses for two more hours. Jeff offers brownies, but nobody steps down, meaning Lorraine eats the brownies. Eventually, when Jeff offers chicken and milk, Gil loses his footing, but that was not on purpose. It is a battle between Ahmed and George now.

4. Ahmed shifts from side to side, and George looks extremely uncomfortable. After another ten minutes it is...

George that gives up, handing Ahmed the win.

Jeff: Ahmed wins his first individual Immunity!

(George congratulates Ahmed, though saddened, while the rest of the castaways clap)

(Timeskip to when the castaways are standing on their tribe mat. Jeff places the Immunity necklace over Ahmed's neck)

Jeff: Ahmed, you've guaranteed yourself a one in five chance at winning this game. As for the rest of you, after 30 days, someone's quest for the million dollars will end as they become the fourth member of our jury. You have the rest of the afternoon to figure out who that's gonna be. You guys can head back to camp. I'll see you at Tribal.

Lorraine (CON): I need to figure out who I'm going to vote with, or else it's going to be the end of my game for sure.

Day 30

Fuaguerra

(The six castaways return to camp)

Jasmine: Great work, Ahmed.

Ahmed: Thank you.

Jasmine: So are we good?

Ahmed: Heck yeah. It's Nadine.

(Ahmed, George, and Lorraine gather by the well while Gil approaches them)

Gil: Are we all set on the plan?

Lorraine: I honestly don't know. 

George: Think about it, okay? This is really important.

Ahmed (CON): If things don't go as planned, my life in the game could be in severe jeopardy.

(Lorraine meets Nadine and Jasmine in the shelter)

Lorraine: I honestly don't know what to do.

Nadine: Just relax. You'll make the right decision. We'll vote Gil out and just hope that everyone else does the same.

Jasmine: I'm a bit scared as well but it's gonna be fine.

(George and Nadine tend to the fire)

George: We're all gonna be voting Gil.

Nadine: Really? Okay.

(The sun sets and the castaways are ready to head off to Tribal Council)

George (CON): I honestly don't know what's gonna happen tonight. Nobody's safe.

(The castaways walk to Tribal)

Tribal Council:

(The Fuaguerra tribe walks in)

(Fuaguerra takes their seats)

Jeff: Okay, let's get the discussion started. Ahmed, how have alliances changed recently?

Ahmed: Well, alliances would have stayed if Nadine and Jasmine didn't get so close. They weren't originally together.

Jeff: That's a bad thing?

Ahmed: Never said it was.

Nadine: Excuse me for trying to save my butt.

George: I don't blame you, but at the same time me, Ahmed, and Jasmine already had an alliance. Guess who we're going after?

Ahmed: You know who, Lorraine.

Lorraine: My lips are sealed.

Gil: What do you mean?

Jasmine: It's none of your business, Gil. This is a game. And none of us are going down without a fight.

Jeff: Well, I wonder what that could mean.

Nadine: We'll see.

Jeff: Okay, are we ready to vote?

Lorraine: I am. 

George: Okay, let's do it.

Jeff: Jasmine, you're up.

(A montage of all of the Fuaguerra castaways voting occurs. George's is shown)

George voted for Nadine

George: You're just too close to her.

Jeff: I'll go tally the votes.

(Jeff returns with the urn)

Jeff: Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes.

First vote:

(Nadine is not surprised)

GIL

That's one vote Nadine, one vote Gil.

(Gil nods)

GIL

That's two votes Gil, one vote Nadine.

(Jasmine looks hopeful)

NADINE

We're tied. Two votes Gil, two votes Nadine.

(Nadine looks nervous)

GIL

That's three votes Gil, two votes Nadine, one vote left.

(Both Gil and Nadine look worried)

NADINE

We're tied. Here's how this is going to work. Everyone except Gil and Nadine will cast their votes. If there is still a tie, George, Lorraine, and Jasmine will draw rocks. Whoever has the purple rock is out of the game.

George: Not again!

(A montage of voting is shown. No votes have been revealed to the audience)

Jeff: I'll go tally the votes.

(Jeff returns with the urn)

Jeff: Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes.

First vote:

(Nadine takes a breath)

GIL

That's one vote Nadine, one vote Gil. Two votes left.

NADINE

That's two votes Nadine, one vote Gil.

(Nadine puts her head down)

Eleventh person voted out and the fourth member of the jury:

NADINE

Jeff: You need to bring me your torch.

(Nadine sighs and hugs Jasmine and Lorraine)

Nadine: Good luck, everyone.

Lorraine: I'm so sorry.

(Nadine gets up and grabs her torch)

(Nadine hands her torch to Jeff)

Jeff: Nadine, the tribe has spoken. 

(Nadine leaves. She cries as she departs from the area)

Jeff: Deception is key to survival in this game. Grab your stuff, head back to camp, good night.

Final Words:

Nadine: I had a good run. I'm very proud of myself, and I hope my family is, too. I felt like I was a strong player amid every one of those sharks.
