Dear Readers,

Now that the book is over,

I hope you enjoyed my heart and my mind layed out for you as best I could,

Thank you for sticking with me till the end,

But you're on your own from here now,

So could you spare a little more time with me?

I know that I'm nobody special and you may never think of me again but I want one last moment in the spotlight.

I hope my words meant something to you,

If you hated it I understand,

But I wanted to have a voice,

Like everyone else in this world I just want people to hear and understand me,

So I started this book, "Simply Sweet"

I found out things about myself I never would have before,

But still,

The idea of perfection is still fresh in my brain,

Sometimes I can't escape my own quest for happiness.

I recently was listening to a song called, "Are You Happy?"

I pondered a line out of it today, "I really want to try to get happy and I think that I could get it if I didn't always panic everytime I'm unhappy. Like I'm owed some life where I'm always, like, happy. Which is stupid cause I wouldn't even want it if I got it."

Personally these lyrics spoke to me,

The first time I heard them I got shivers and so I started to think about those words and how they applied to me. They helped me realize things about myself,

For my readers that was my end goal,

I wanted this book to be the one that sits on your desk, old and worn out. But you always keep it near because it speaks to you.

My end goal in writing this is to speak to someone somewhere,

Or to give someone shivers,

I want to say things people didn't even know they had to hear,

I want to help sculpt someones life the way so many artists before me have done to me,

When done right, art is beautiful.

I maybe optomisitic to believe my quotes and poems can do anything. But if I've learned anything about myself it's that I matter,

Simply because I believe it,

Isn't that sweet?
