We were given a month to train.

I walked through the streets when Naruto came running up to me.

"Malia! Can you train me please?" He asked and I looked at him.

"I thought you already had a teacher. Where is he." I said and Naruto began to drag me towards the hot spring.

"He's over here but if your my sensei then I won't need him." Naruto said in determination.

"What is he teaching you?" I asked boredly.

"How to walk on water." Naruto said and I chuckled.

"Why would you ask me to train you?" I asked looking at him in amusement.

"Because your super strong!" He said.

'He's trying to compliment me so he can get his way.' I thought as I looked at his smiling face.

"Train with him first. If that doesn't work I'll help where I can." I said and he nodded happily before running to the man with glasses.

I watched as they were continuing their training.

"Naruto you aren't even trying!" The man shouted.

"Malia can you walk on water?" Naruto asked as he came out of the water.

"Yes. Water is one of my elements." I said as I walked towards them.

"Shouldn't you be training?" The man asked.

"Why waste my time. I don't need training. I barely tried the preliminary round." I said and Naruto looked at me in awe.

"You must be super strong Malia!" Naruto said jumping around.

"I am the strongest where I come from Naruto." I said with a smirk and Naruto began to jump.

"Why can't you be my sensei! Your so cool Malia!" Naruto said before holding my arm.

"Can you show me some cool magic?" Naruto asked with a smile.

"I could but I think you should finish your training. Besides I can only show you normal magic." I said and nudged him to the water.

Naruto then ran back to the water to continue the training.

"What's your trick?" The man asked as he stood next to me.

"A magician never reveals their secret." I said and disappeared into the shadows leaving Naruto and the man behind.

I reappeared and Kakashi was walking down the alley.

"Malia?" He said and began to walk closer when I felt like I was fading.

'They need me.' I thought as I turned to see Kakashi shocked.

"Malia!" He shouted and I fully faded.

I appeared on Tenrou Island in front of Hades.

I looked around and seen everyone was injured and on the ground. Even Laxus. I turned to Natsu and he was struggling to get up.

"You dare disgrace this island with your presence! You dare lay a finger on my family!" I shouted and magic energy quickly surrounded me.

"Lucy you summoned her?" Erza said and Lucy nodded.

"I had to." She said before going unconscious.

I then summoned my nature sword and charged forward.

"Why don't you use the demons within?" Hades shouted trying to block my attack.

"I will not look like a monster in front of my family!" I shouted and slammed the blade on the ground causing vines to grab him.

I then summoned more vines and then I froze his feet to the ground.

Lightning and fire began to surround me as my rage increased.

"Lightning flame dragon roar!" I shouted and Hades was hit with the attack.

I then turned to them and smiled and healed their wounds.

"Take care." I said and closed my gate.

I appeared in my apartment to a barrage of knocking at my door.

I walked over and opened it to see the Hokage and Anbu standing there.

The Anbu tried to get in but the barrier kept them out.

"I am in a foul mood. What do you want." I growled

"You have been gone for weeks and the exam is tomorrow. Kakashi reported you missing a few weeks ago. Where were you this whole time?" He asked.

'Why did time speed up here?' I thought.

"That's none of your concern." I said and the Hokage huffed.

"I am the leader of this village that you are currently staying in. Show some respect!" He said.

"You are the leader of this village and these people. Not me. I gave you a little respect when you gave me the apartment and that's it. I have no loyalties to you only to my family." I growled and they backed up.

I slammed the door shut.

I heard him sigh and walk away.

I went to my room and fixed the barrier before turning in for the night.

I woke up and change my clothing.

'Why do I have a bad feeling today?' I thought as I began walking to the arena.

I already knew I was going to be late but I didn't really care. My fight was after Shikamaru's.

I finally arrived to the arena and the proctor looked angry.

"Why are you late?" He shouted and I shrugged my shoulders.

"Shit happened and I ended up being late." I said and walked towards the set of stairs that led to where the others were.

I watched the matches with disinterest. Though it was amusing when Neji got his ass handed to him.

'I still can't shake the feeling.' I thought.

"Malia! It's your turn!" Naruto shouted getting me out of my thoughts.

I then jumped over the railing and seen him waiting.

"There are no rules. If one dies they die. The Hokage made this match a fight to the death. I wish you both luck." The proctor said before turning around and walked away.

"I don't need luck." I said and took steps away from him.

"It's been what? A few months since we last ran into each other?" He taunted going back to his true form,"Let's end this quickly. Master Hades needs me to return."

I watched as he smirked knowing he pushed a button with me.

"You." I mumbled before I stared him dead in the eye,"You were involved in attacking my family?"

"I was sent to distract you." He said pulling a sword from his back.

"You dare threaten my home!" I shouted as I lunged forward with my light claws.

He smirked and blocked with his blade.

"What of it? There is no way for you to return." He said and I summoned my ice fire sword.

"You will regret everything!" I shouted and stabbed the blade into the ground and the area began to burn and freeze.

"Losing your composure? Not like you." He taunted and charged forward.

I jumped forward and our blades clashed.

I then began to feel it.

"Looks like my real master is doing his job." He said noticing my frozen movement.

I then summoned another sword.

I then began to swing and he dodged but I clicked a button causing it to turn into a whip.

I hit him multiple times and my anger began to raise.

I couldn't feel Lucy's magic.

I hit him again.

I couldn't feel Gray's magic anymore.

"Fire dragon roar!"

I couldn't feel Erza's or Gajeel's magic anymore.

"Water lightning dragon tsunami!"

I held on to the hope that he will be okay and that it's just my imagination.

Everything stopped.

I couldn't feel Natsu's magic anymore.

I fell to my knees and my swords were unsummoned.

"So he finally killed them. That's too bad. Now what will you do? You have no one to protect." He taunted as he began to walk towards me with both of his swords ready.

I sat there with my head down. My hair was covering my face.

Memories flashed through my head of all of Fairy tail. Gray and Natsu fighting and Erza stepping in each time. Mira and Erza butting heads and me stopping them. Makarov being happy to have me stay in the guild. Laxus looking up to me due to my lightning skills.

"Any last words?" Toa said with a grin.

I stayed the same.

"Malia!" Naruto shouted,"Don't you dare give up!"

"So now the brat is going to get involved." Toa said and rested the blade on my shoulder.

"I thought you were supposed to be a guardian!" Naruto shouted," You are supposed to protect your family! Don't give up!"

"Show them that you are a monster, not a guardian!" Toa shouted again.

My eyes then widened. Rage built up inside of me.

'Let's kill him together Malia.' Tal said.

Third Pov

The audience watched in silence as shadows swirled around Malia.

People started to become scared and excited for what was to come next.

Toa stepped back sensing the amount of magic coming from Malia.

A magic circle appeared above her and she began to transform.

Everyone watched in awe as the transformation began to come to an end.

"You will pay for what you have done. With your life." Malia said.

Only it didn't sound like her voice. It sounded like two people were talking at once. One in a higher pitch and the other in a lower pitch.

Smoke covered the arena and cleared out leaving Toa and someone else was standing where Malia was.

Her tail swayed side to side and curled and uncurled. Her claws grew longer and her outfit and height changed.

"You are going to die for ever hurting my family." was all she said before she disappeared from everyone's sight and quickly ending Toa's life.

Toa stood there as the demon had her hand through his chest.

She pulled her arm out and Toa fell to the ground, dead.

People were in shock and Malia went back to normal.

Malia Pov

I turned and began walking up the stairs. I then turned towards the body and set fire to it.

"That was for hurting my family and keeping me from them." I said before turning and walking away.

I walked up the steps and stood in a corner as the other matches continued. Everyone went back to cheering on the next match which was Sasuke against Gaara.

"Malia." Naruto said and I looked up at him to see Shikamaru standing farther from me.

I stood there leaning against the wall with Naruto standing in front of me.

"Why." He said and I knew what he was talking about.

"Naruto. This is something you might or might not understand. I was taken from my home. I am separated from my family. I also learned that I can never go back and I felt my family's magic disappear. Now how exactly am I supposed to handle something like that?" I said in a monotone voice looking him dead in the eye.

It was silent between us and Shikamaru was shifting from side to side.

"Naruto. We have to go." Shikamaru said and Naruto nodded and turned away from me and walked away.

I then stepped away from the wall when I heard birds chirping. I looked at the arena and seen lightning.

I then sensed something evil in the air. I quickly teleported to the old man.

"Malia." the Hokage said and I just stood there next to him.

Wind blew by and I smelt a snake.

"It appears there is a snake here." I said to the Hokage and I sensed the Kazekage stiffen.

We sat and continued to watch the battle but I growled when Gaara screamed in pain.

"Blood. It's my blood!" Gaara shrieked and I sensed the demon with in stur.

Then feathers began to fill the arena and many people were falling asleep while ninjas began to attack.

The Kazekage took the Hokage and I followed after them.

A barrier was put in place quickly as I was closing in on them.

"Malia! Stay away from the barrier!" the old man shouted.

I stood there watching the battle.

Anbu tried to get in but the barrier kept them from continuing.

I then began to walk forward when the man called Orochimaru summoned two dead corpses and brought them to life. I approached the barrier and the Anbu freaked out.

"Malia don't!" They shouted and I walked right through.

Nothing happened to me and that shocked everyone.

"Your barrier skills are pathetic." I said and walked forward towards the old man.
