Ok, so this isn't a short story. It's more of a poetry-ish thing. But I really wanted to publish it. We wore awareness ribbons at school this week (I got this one for my friends with eating disorders^^^) and I wrote this about it, so here goes...

Do you see this ribbon?
I wear it for you.

For you who struggle in ways I do not,
And still you accept the burdens of others.

For you who have shown me kindness and care,
Though you are the ones in need of it more.

For you who feel worthless,
When you mean the world to people.

For you who lie in the hospital bed,
When you deserve to explore the world.

For you who have troubles I could not understand.

And though I cannot understand you,
I can support you.

So, that is why I wear this ribbon
I wear it for you! 😊
