Chapter 7: "Too Late."
Classic's POV:
I woke up feeling pretty upset. Knowing that everyone you know and love will die pretty soon doesn't make you excited for the days to pass by. I'll make the most of the days I have left I guess. I put on my regular jacket and went towards the hallway. Chara's door was opened, so I'm guessing they went outside to play with monster kid. When I checked Red's room, I saw that he was still fast asleep. Downstairs, I made some bacon and eggs. Then I turned on the tv to see who the Brat had already killed. Turns out, they've already killed Undyne. Luckily, she also has an undying form. Hopefully this human isn't as determined as Frisk. Speaking of which, I hope they never fall down again. Can't we just have one timeline where they never fall? That would be great. Red came downstairs after a while. He looked upset. "Red, are you ok?" He quickly changed his expression to a weak smile. "Yeah. I'm alright. Just.... hungry." I passed him a plate of eggs. He drowned it in mustard. "Where's the kid?" "They're out playing with monster kid." "Weren't they sick yesterday?" "Yup, I'm guessing the medicine worked like a charm." He ate for a little longer and then sat on the couch with me. I snuggled with him and we watched the finale of 'The Lorax: A Netflix Original Series'. Since nobody knows how long we had left until Frisk will come, I decided to have a little fun.
Note: It gets a bit smutty ;)
I grabbed the leash part of his collar to make him kiss me. He kissed me back. We kissed for a little while and then I licked his teeth asking for entrance and he accepted. I explored for a little and then we separated for air. "So.... are you ready to take this to the next step?" I asked teasingly. "Eh, w-what about t-the kid?" He tried using as an excuse. "Well, we could take this to my room." He seemed to blush heavily when I said that. So, I jokingly took him to my room bridal-style. I dropped him on my bed and he quickly sat up. I sat next to him and pushed him back.
I then went in for another kiss. This time, I reached for his shirt and licking and biting his neck. He let out a sound. I put my hand up his shirt and starting touching his ribcage, playing with some of them. He bit his lip, trying not to make any sounds. I was about to take off his shirt when Chara walked in the room. "Hey Sans, do-" They took a look at the sight before them. "Kid, it's not what it looks like." "I'm just going to let you two do your thing. I'll ask later." They slowly closed the door. Red and I were silent for a moment. "So, do you want to continue or...?" I had a smug look on my face. Red hid his face in his hands and made incoherent noises. I chuckled. "Well, if you feel ready, you can tell me anytime," I said. I kissed his forehead and left the room. Chara was downstairs eating chocolate most likely trying to forget what they saw. Red and I weren't naked, but they could tell what we were trying to do. "Hey kid, you said you had a question for me when we were up there." "Yeah. Does Red know about the killing?" I was silent for a little. "I don't think he does, but just in case, don't tell him." "Why?" "Because I'm afraid he'll try something stupid." They opened their mouth to say something, but instantly closed it and looked at the ground. "Next timeline, will we all see eachother again? Or will I be stuck in my au..." "Don't worry pal, you and Red won't stay there. We'll just start where we left off." "Alright." They seemed a little happier.
Red's POV:
As Classic left the room I had so many questions buzzing in my head. 'What would happen if we weren't interrupted?' 'Was it just a joke?' 'Does he really love me like that?' It almost distracted me of my thoughts this morning. I had found out thanks to Mettaton that Frisk had escaped and was murdering innocent monsters. All just because I rejected them. And pure boredom. I don't want anyone else dying. I feel like I should fight them. It would be horrible if Sans died for my mistake. Was it a even a good idea to come here? Maybe I deserve death. I put my hoodie and collar back on and snuck out the back door. Classic wouldn't allow me to do this if he knew.
I'm going to fight the human.
Classic's POV:
It had been a few hours since the "event" that went on with Red and I. Chara was munching on their 6th bar of chocolate, and Red still seemed to be asleep. I decided to check on him. When I got there, I noticed the door was opened a tiny bit. I quickly slammed it open and saw the bedsheets had been moved. He had left the house... shit. I saw the backdoor completely open and saw footprints. "Is everything alright?" "Red's gone." I replied with my eye lights gone. "I'm going to go get him, stay here." As I ran out the door I could almost hear them say something above a whisper. "Good luck."
I ran as fast as I could go. Something was up. The tracks stopped at waterfall. "Red?" I called out. But nobody came. I kept this up as I walked through waterfall. Did he run away because of me? Was I being too extra? I passed through many areas calling for him. What if he was killed? I got rid of the thought. He's an alternate universe of me. He can dodge easily and would run back home. I'm sure of it. Eventually, I made it to judgement hall. I was questioning if I should go on when I heard a Gaster blaster from the door. He's fighting the human. I kicked the door open. Right at that second, Frisk stabbed Red. He didn't collapse though. Instead, he just shrugged it off and sat at one of the pillars waiting to turn into dust. I quickly killed the human with a blaster and ran to his side. "Huh, Classic how did you get here?" "There's no time for answering questions like that, right now we need to get you home." "And do what? There's nothing left to do but let me die." "Red, I'm not going to just stand here and-" "Behind you." I turned around as Frisk swung their blade and waited for impact. But instead of feeling the pain of being sliced in half, I felt a pain in my soul instead. Red had blocked me with the last energy he had. He fell asleep, but didn't die. Frisk's blow wasn't hard enough to kill anybody. I killed them with some bones and dragged Red home. Chara was upstairs, most likely sleeping from a sugar crash, so I just laid Red on the couch. I replenished some of his health with some monster food, but couldn't get it to the full thing. Why did he have to be a hero? I cuddled him and fell asleep.
(The next day...)
I woke up with nobody in my arms. Instead there was only dust. Red had died.
....
....
....
....
I broke my promise.
I checked the room where Chara was sleeping. They were dead too. It was a suicide. Guess it's time for me to fight the kid. I know I'm going to lose, but there isn't anything left to live for anyway. They're all gone.
(Sans fight commences and he turns to dust. This time there isn't any dialogue. He lost Papyrus, Red, Chara, and all of his friends.)
UF Frisk's POV:
Killing them all was so easy that I almost felt bad. That was fun. I don't like Red like that anymore. Instead, he's a nice pawn. I reseted the world for this Frisk to play with. My job here is done.
(To be continued....)
