The Success Cycle will find the character achieving whatever they started out to do. It is the Try/Succeed portion of the story when whatever they try next, they succeed. There are two possible ways to achieve this. You can choose a Yes-And scene or a No-But scene. Either way, the character will reach the destination, because in both instances, the momentum is forward.

For example,

Are they able to get lunch? YES, AND it came with dessert!

OR

Are they able to diffuse the bomb? NO, BUT it goes out the window and lands on the bad guy!

Instructions: Set the time for five minutes and write five sentences that are the character's Try/Success cycle.
