In order to establish a goal for your story, you will address the two following questions:

1. What is the character trying to do and why? (Think about using an If/Then sentence. If X didn't happen, then Y won't happen.)

2. What is stopping them?

Instructions: Set the timer for two minutes and write two sentences that address the goal the character is trying to accomplish and failing.
