"I turned out liking you more than I originally planned"
-Anonymous-
~~~~~
"What is with this thunderstorm in the middle of spring?!" Namjoon irritably shouted as he stomped into the very familiar pink room to see the guy who was most likely to know the answer to his question.
As expected, there he was, sitting calmly on his couch while charismatically sipping his cup of tea. Slightly frowning from the noises made by the man standing in front of him, he closed his eyes and swayed his hand, which was holding the cup, in such a way that ordered the noisy one to shut up and take a seat.
"Hush," he ordered, still closing his eyes.
Knowing that nothing could distract Kim Seokjin from his morning "cup of tea" routine, Namjoon was only able to defeatly heave a deep sigh while rolling his eyes. He impatiently tapped his foot on the parquet floor, waiting for Seokjin to finish his last sip.
"Done?"
Sighing, Seokjin placed the emptied cup on top of the table before pointing at his mirror, tilting his head a little as if he was instructing Namjoon to take a look at it without even saying a word.
"Your mirror? Why? Wait- don't tell me that the reason behind this messy weather is-" Namjoon hurriedly walked toward the mirror and almost choked on his own saliva as he saw what the mirror had shown.
"Why the fudge is Taehyung biting Jungkook's thigh under that table?!"
~~~
Soomin almost dropped her cup when a sudden loud crash was heard from outside the coffee shop. Both Jimin and she, who were in the middle of a conversation at the counter, blinked rapidly as they checked out the already darkened sky from the entrance.
"Weird," Jimin mumbled at the unexpected change in today's weather. Distracted from the gloomy sky above them, Jimin and Soomin whipped their heads in unison as another loud sound was heard, but this one came from inside.
"Yah! What are you both doing?!"
Eyes gawking at the rare sight happening at one table, which consisted of two familiar faces, Jimin ran to approach the table. As for Soomin, she was frozen in her spot, witnessing the scene of Jungkook screaming in pain while trying to detach V's bite from his thigh.
"I'm sorry! I take back my words about her! Aargh, get off! Get off!!"
Still trying to register what was happening with the boys, Soomin once again almost dropped her cup as a loud bang was heard when someone slammed the entrance door harshly.
"What the fuc-" Initially wanting to throw the cup at the rude customer who just entered the coffee shop, she aborted the mission as she saw the culprit. She was paralyzed by the sight of a man that she unknowingly longed to see for weeks. Her tiny heart was insanely hammering, which made her grip on her cup become tighter. Trying to tame her wild heartbeat, she lightly patted her chest. Yet, the attempt was immediately considered a failure when a hoarse and raspy voice came out from his thin lips. The voice that she had been waiting to hear these days.
"Give me a towel."
He coldly said to the waiter behind the counter while wiping his watery face in such an upset manner. Soomin secretly eyed him from the very end of the counter and found that he was drenched from head to toe.
"Move your ass and give me a dry towel before I beat you to death," he groaned, shivering as the low temperatures of the room clung to his wet figure.
She had no idea what was wrong with her head, but his drenched body, upset expression, and rude words successfully made her knees weak. The drenched and savage Min Yoongi made her feel a tingling sensation in her stomach.
Sexy.
She gasped as the word absurdly came into her mind. She was beyond embarrassed by her own thoughts, which were visibly seen from her flushed face. She mentally cursed as she silently and hurriedly made her way to the table in the very corner of the coffee shop, hoping he wouldn't even notice her stupid presence.
Intensely keeping her eyes on him from afar, she allowed herself to savor the full sight served right before her eyes. Gulping as she saw him brush his wet locks while biting his lower lip, Soomin looked away as she couldn't handle it anymore.
God, please forgive this sinner, she pleaded as her mind started to trick her with some inappropriate imagination of Yoongi doing things with those lips. Luckily for her, her one and only brother was occupied by Jungkook's thigh and didn't notice his sister's dirty mind over the man.
Meanwhile, while she was busy with herself, Yoongi, who already had the towel in his hand, approached Jimin and the boys and threw himself onto the couch without permission, making the three of them jolted by his sudden appearance.
"What happened to you?!" Soomin could hear Jimin ask Yoongi about his damp hair and clothes.
"Don't talk to me," he growled.
"Look like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed," Jungkook nonchalantly said, caressing his thigh as he tried to soothe the pain caused by Taehyung earlier.
"Don't even try me, kid. I'm mad enough to kill someone right now."
"Having rain drench your body has nothing to do with us," Jimin rolled his eyes while helping him dry his hair with the towel.
"If only I could break the bones of the one in charge of this absurd rain."
Taehyung flinched at Yoongi's words as he fully aware of whom it was addressed. He nervously shifted on his couch, which made Jungkook scoff in disbelief.
You're immortal, yet you're scared of this man. Ridiculous.
Shut your mouth, Jungkook.
"Who are you?" Yoongi asked, finally noticing the existence of the blonde guy next to him.
"I - uh - Hi, I'm V. Jungkook's classmate."
"Have we met before?" Squinting his eyes, Yoongi tried to remember his oddly familiar face.
"I don't think so," Taehyung grinned awkwardly.
Yoongi shrugged and grabbed the towel from Jimin's hand as he simply introduced himself to Taehyung. He was absolutely in killer mode, in which no one was brave enough to complain about his rude attitude, not even Jungkook, who had previously mocked Taehyung about it.
"Hyung..." Jimin lightly nudged Yoongi's side to direct his vision to the corner of the shop, as he noticed that Yoongi had been avoiding the girl for weeks.
Sighing, Yoongi looked away as soon as his eyes caught sight of Soomin, who was absentmindedly staring into empty space in front of her.
"Now what?" Jimin asked, while gently shooing the younger boys from the table, making them whine yet still move away to another empty table, away from the problematic Yoongi.
"I'm just... I don't know... I'm kinda tired of her."
"I-I'm so sorry!"
Yoongi instantly turned his head as soon as he heard the commotion happening behind him, only to see Soomin bowing to the customer whose cup of coffee had been spilled all over the floor. She clumsily tried to pick up the shattered glass when Yoongi grabbed her hand, while Jimin politely ushered the customer to the counter, willing to give her free coffee as an apology.
"Don't touch that," Yoongi sternly said.
"Sorry, excuse me."
Soomin ran to the restroom located near Yoongi's table, locking herself in there as tears unknowingly streamed down her cheek, with Yoongi's words, which she accidentally heard, echoing in her mind.
"I'm kinda tired of her."
"So ironic that the moment I've waited for the most in these past 10 years is finally happening when I find myself liking you more than I originally planned."
Chuckling defeatedly, she closed her eyes and let the tears silently caress her cheek. She had no idea that there was a guy anxiously running towards the restroom, wishing to break the door and wipe away all the tears from her face.
Don't cry, please.
