"Then more you hide your feelings, the more they show.
The more you deny your feeling, the more they grow."

The grip of his hand on her wrist clearly showed how irritated he was by the indifferent attitude she displayed in front of him. In no time, they reached the empty studio room on the second floor of Jimin's coffee shop. She flinched a little when he opened the door by kicking it and gestured for her to sit on the couch. He himself nonchalantly sat on the table placed in front of the couch, resting his elbows on his thighs and staring straight into her eyes. She tried to avert her gaze, but his current irritated expression somehow captivated her attention.
Why does he look so fine today? she thought, gulping as Yoongi ran his fingers through his hair countless times today.
Yoongi: I thought we're agree to cut off the war between us.
Soomin: So?
Yoongi: So why are you like this?
Soomin: Like what?
Yoongi: (sigh) Please give me a favor to tell me what did I do wrong this time.
Soomin: Nothing
Yoongi: Don't "Nothing" me and don't roll you eyes like that.
Soomin: Don't "Don't" me and put that pointed finger away from me before I break it
Yoongi: (ruffled his hair frustratedly) Look, I'm tired and-
Soomin: Tired? Of me? Then why don't you just leave and cuddle with your girlfriend instead of bothering me like this?
-Silent-
Yoongi: (frowned) What was that mean?
Soomin: (crossed her hands and laid back). Nothing.
Are you jealous Soomin?
Soomin: Wha- jealous?! No!
Yoongi: (frowned) Jealous?
Find someone better
Soomin: The hell?!
Park Jimin is better
Soomin: Oh shut up Yoongi!! I don't even-
Yoongi: Yah! What is wrong with you?!
Geez, don't you
recognize my voice?
Yoongi: Listen, if you don't-
Soomin: Taehyung Oppa?
Hi there pumpkin
Yoongi: -wanna talk then-
Soomin: (gasped) how on earth you could talk to me like this???
Yoongi: -fine but-
No time for explanation-
Yoongi: -don't act like-
Just listen to me-
Yoonyi: - crazy old wo-
Don't fall for him
Yoongi: -man
Soomin: For God's sake! Stop talking at the same time you son of - Ugh!! (stood up infuriatedly)
Yoongi: (halted immediately and gave her questioning look while raising one of his eyebrow)
Soomin: Listen! First, I don't fall for that guy! (pointed her finger to Yoongi) Second, I am not jealous or what so ever! And Third! Stop messing with your hair, that's distracting! (Stormed out from the room)
Yoongi: Did she out of her mind?
She's talking to me
Yoongi: Merlin's beard! Wh- who is that?!
Taetae
Yoongi: Huh?! (Looked around the room)
You can't see me.
I'm in your head silly
Yoongi: In my what?! Yah get out!
Okay
Yoongi: Wait!
Sigh. What?
Yoongi: What did you say to her?!
Do not fall for you
~~~
Soomin stormed off infuriatedly, leaving Yoongi without an explanation. Her two impatient best friends ran over to her downstairs and bombarded her with questions, none of which she answered. She shrugged off all the words directed at her and immediately left the coffee shop, not wanting to face Yoongi.
She stomped her feet all the way home, trying to push away all the words Taehyung had told her. Unfortunately, the more she tried to ignore them, the more they lingered in her head.
"I'm not jealous! I don't even like him! Not even a bit!" she muttered silently as she kicked a pebble lying on the road.
~~~
"How did you know that he has a girlfriend?"
"Huh?" Mrs. Kim stopped chopping the onion as she heard her daughter's question. "I just know. Now help me rinse those veggies," she shrugged her shoulders and continued to prepare dinner for her family.
Soomin pouted and carelessly grabbed the bowl of veggies before she felt her phone buzzing inside the pocket of her shorts. She took a peek at it and rolled her eyes as she saw the notification before she dumped it back into her pocket.
She was about to water the veggies when her phone started buzzing like crazy, as if someone had bombarded her with lots of messages.
"For God's sake!" She cursed under her breath while rinsing the veggies brutally, until Mrs. Kim snatched the bowl before all the veggies turned into some kind of smoothie.
"Wh- give me that, Mom."
"Go take a walk for a while. Make sure you're back before I finish the meal," she glared and secured her dearest veggies from her daughter.
"But why?!"
"To clean up whatever you have in mind. Shoo, shoo!"
Soomin frowned as she was pushed by her mom from the kitchen. She had no other choice but to listen to her mom because she indeed needed fresh air right now. She fixed her ponytail and shoved her feet into her slippers before she walked out.
"Geez, it's freezing!" She shivered when the night breeze caressed her exposed hands and thighs, but she continued to bring herself to the nearest park. The night was still young, yet the stars had started to show off their beauty by twinkling one to another.
"So pretty," she said, sitting herself on one of the unoccupied swings placed in the park. Focusing on the breathtaking view above her, she was unaware when someone approached her from behind.
"Gosh!" she startled when she felt something laid on her petite figure, a jacket. She groaned when her eyes met a familiar poker face standing next to her.
"Why are you here, Yoongi?"
"It's a public facility, why can't I?"
"Because you have a girlfriend who is probably waiting for you to come to her house?"
He heaved a sigh. "Why don't you reply to my messages?"
"I don't want to."
"Why?"
"Do I really need a reason to do what I want to do?!" She stood up and threw the jacket away from her before walking away from him, approaching a small fishpond at the center of the park.
"Yes, especially the reason why you are always bringing up my girlfriend in our conversation today."
Soomin stopped her step as she felt extremely upset about the way he said "my girlfriend." She shut her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm herself.
"Does it bother you?"
"Excuse me?" She turned around, throwing a deathly stare at him.
"Do you hate the fact that I have a girlfriend?" he said emotionless, slowly approaching her.
"No, I don't." She frowned, stepping backward.
"Is that so? Then how about we meet my girlfriend tonight?"
"W-what?" she stumbled as her feet reached the edge of the fishpond.
"Meet her, I bet my girlfriend would love to see you after all this time," he smirked as he kept closing the gap between them.
My girlfriend. My girlfriend. My girlfriend.
Those words were repeating in her mind, which somehow made her feel even more irritated.
"Why don't you answer me? Don't you want to know my girlfriend?"
She wanted to ignore all of his words. She wanted to laugh at how funny he was by saying those words, but her heart betrayed her mind. It took control of her body until she couldn't hold back her anger.
"Could you stop saying 'my girlfriend'?! I hate it!"
