15 .𝑷𝒖𝒕𝒕 𝑷𝒖𝒕𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉.

A little warning, this chapter is quite graphic in terms of violence...blood...murder, if you're not comfortable with that sorta thing.

"Little Candy."

She pulls the red lollipop out of her mouth and licks her lips before answering. "Yes?" Jamie climbs out of her car and opens a black umbrella which she holds over her shoulder with one hand while pulling down her sparkly rose gold mini dress with the other, straightening it out.

Throwing her purse over her body, she pushes the door closed and places sunglasses over her eyes.

"What's your plan?"

"I'm going to a putt putt match." Is all Jamie says, continuing to suck the candy, swirling her tongue around the sweetness before beginning the walk down the high class sidewalk, shielded from the sun and she passes wealthy people, who make way for even her presence, her phone held to her ear so she doesn't look as though she's speaking to herself when she's speaking to Kimmy through an earpiece.

"While you're at the match, I heard about another target who'll be there. Wanna kill two birds with one stone?" Kimmy questions and Jamie smirks as her phone buzzes, so she draws the device back and looks at the picture of a young woman with a bright smile and dark, short hair. She sighs.

"I don't kill women Kimmy."

"I was afraid you'd say that. So I'm coming with you. I'm at your three." Turning to her left, Jamie spots Kimmy dressed in a wide leg pantsuit and tall heels.

Jamie rolls her eyes but she smiles, slipping her phone into an expensive leather satchel with gold detailing. Unless it's absolutely necessary, the Davenport girls shy away from accepting jobs that include killing females.

There isn't a twisted reason behind it, they just don't because quite frankly, neither does their mother. I'm sure there's a reason behind Yasmine's avoidance but they're never cared enough to ask.

"What's your method going to be?" Jamie asks, flashing a VIP pass at the gate then she's let into the large garden, where she pauses and slips on heel plugs so she doesn't sink into the grass.

"I'm going to shoot her."

"You'd be causing a scene. I'm not a fan of scenes."

"Yet you and your sister sent an entire crowd running and screaming after shooting a guy in an alleyway." Kimmy says and Jamie glances over her shoulder, meeting her friend's accusing gaze.

"That was different-"

Kimmy laughs and Jamie smirks. "How the hell is that different, Candy?" Now Jamie laughs, throwing her head back and everything, earning a few curious glances so she places her phone back to her ear and smiles guiltily, mouthing an apology as though for the disruption of her being improper, then she turns and glares at Kimmy.

"We'll be cornered here, held by security until law enforcement arrives. From there, we'll be questioned, looked into and us Davenports do not need our surname -let alone personal hit-woman, in the system." Jamie says, laying her point down and Kimmy sighs and mutters underneath her breath.

"Fine. I'll figure it out-while we're on the subject. What are you going to do to yours Miss. Judge-y?"

"Stabbing him. With a pen. Not just any pen. His own pen." Jamie states proudly, striding past all the bodies of people attending the match event today, only one person on her mind. Kimmy laughs a little.

"Should we make them think it's a serial killer of some sorts?"

Jamie gasps. "Yes! Neck and chest?"

"You're a genius little Davenport!"

"Don't worry Kimmy. I know." Slipping her phone away once again, she purposely bumps into her target, her umbrella falling and then she trips and lands on her knees, scraping them along with her hands.

"Oh dear, I'm so sorry. Forgive me. Forgive me." The male takes Jamie's wrists in his own and tugs her up to her feet.

"I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going, i-it's my fault too." Jamie stutters, shaking her head and she brushes herself off, looking up and then her eyes widen at the sight of the man. "Oh my gosh. You're...you're...I'm sorry, I'm usually not this forward but you're very handsome."

Jamie's target smiles, unaware of the fact that the Davenport daughter is after more than just his looks which to be fair are decently good.

"Well thank you. You're very beautiful yourself if I may chance being forward myself." He charms and Jamie smiles, brushing her short hair behind her ear, which she's straightened and styled like a very short bob today, taking a step back then picking up her umbrella and purse. "Are you playing today?"

Jamie chuckles, closing her umbrella then holding it at her side. "In this dress and these red bottomed heels . Definitely not. What about you? That leather isn't a fan of grass." Jamie clicks her tongue then smiles at her target's impressed face.

"No, but I'm watching my nephew play. My sister's son. His first big game."

"Oh wow that's so cool! Tell him I say 'good luck'." Jamie smiles warmly, then turns to walk away, thinking a three second countdown before sure enough-

"I'm Ryan." She smirks then lets a smile take over her lips as she turns to him, taking her sunglasses off. "Wow."

"I'm Millicent." Jamie holds her hand out. "And thank you. I've been told my eyes are my best quality."

"They are. Look, I have great seats and no plus one, would you like to join me? Booze of your choice." Ryan says and she nods, placing her hand in his offered arm then they walk away, talking lightly, getting to know each other.

Meanwhile, Kimmy disappears into the back then changes into a staff's go-to black trousers and white button down. Pushing through the double doors that lead to the kitchen and she grabs a tray of champagne glasses, going out to find her own target.

"Everyone, this is Millicent. We've run into each other, so I've brought her to chat." Ryan introduces Jamie to his family and they all welcome her so her and Ryan take seats and a glass of champagne is passed into her hand.

"Millicent, your hair is quite chic if I might say. I'm Jennifer, Ryan's oldest sister." Jamie turns to the woman and exchanges an elegant, finger brushing handshake, a bright smile on her face, white teeth stark against her dark lipstick. "Have you always worn it that way?"

"Not really no. I went blonde in my teens and only went for the big chop a few years back."

"Not too many can pull it off. But it was made for you."

Jamie sighs in exaggeration. "You are too kind, Jen. Can I, call you Jen?"

"Only if I can call you Millie."

"My my, looks like we have nicknames already. Isn't that great Ryan?" Jamie-or rather 'Millicent'-turns to the male sitting beside her and he grins, nodding his head at her.

"You didn't give me a nickname." He purrs against her cheek and she lets out an air filled giggle as she hits his shoulder playfully, before leaning in and whispering in his ear.

"You were called handsome the moment we locked eyes."

"Why thank you beautiful." He flirts back and before she can respond, they're interrupted by a soft, yet loud applause. So turning away from each other, they stand when they find Ryan's brother has won his first round, slapping their palms in delicate applause.

"He's good at this." Jamie whispers and Ryan nods, smiling her way.

"He is."

Sitting down again, Jamie continues conversation with Ryan's family, getting to know more and more about her target, getting quite personal, yet the thought of having him killed at the end of the day doesn't do anything but excite her with every word.

Bloodthirsty, is all she is at the moment, and she can't wait to have him all to herself. It's cruel yes, but even if she wasn't to go through with this, the next person was gonna come for him and the next and the next. With how many people he's left with nothing, he should be glad that he's seeing Millicent's eyes before he dies.

Phone buzzing from her purse, Jamie slips her hand inside and pulls out the device, glancing at the 'K' flashing across her screen then she excuses herself to take the call.

"Kimmy." She walks away from the VIP lounge and more to the gardens, where less people file around.

"What are we doing to them?"

"Stabbing. The neck then the hand. Make sure your target is sitting, leave the pen sticking out of the hand then send me a photograph to replicate. Okay?"

"Okay." Kimmy answers and Jamie smiles.

"Do a nice job. Then text me your work so I can finally be done with these people." Jamie pulls the phone from her ear, hips swaying as she makes her way back to the VIP lounge, taking a seat and placing a hand on Ryan's knee and he grins at her, oblivious once again of the disturbing thoughts running in her mind even as she leans in and flirts.

Before she knows it, her hand is placed on his thigh and he's leaning in, neither one of them paying attention to the match anymore. Feeling her phone buzz, 'Millicent' pulls it out to 'put it on silence' but is instead met with a picture of a female in an office chair, hands and ankles tied, body arranged to sit in an upright position, a pen protruding out of her throat.

Damn, Jamie thinks. Kimmy went off.

"Do you wanna get out of here?" Jamie asks Ryan and excitement glints into his eyes when she stands, grabs his hand and pulls him behind her, getting curious glances from his family.

Leading Ryan into the building of the country club where the putting match is held at, Jamie giggles and squirms playfully into his arms.

"You know where an office is? Desks are fun." Jamie winks and now Ryan is the one leading her, eagerly excited. Rolling her eyes, Jamie is reminded as to why she doesn't date.

Arriving to a dark brown wooden door with a sign that says, W.J Paisley, Ryan pushes the door open, then kicks it shut and immediately pushes Jamie against a wall, his lips finding hers.

Her mind plays games on her and she smells Hitter, tastes Hitter from the time they kissed and her heart aches for him to get closer. But when she feels the movement of the kiss, it causes her to slow, one of her eyes opening to catch a glimpse of who's in front of her and she kisses Ryan harder, trying to forget that she ever imagined kissing someone in the first place.

Hands on his chest, Jamie pushes Ryan to the office chair but he lays her down on the desk instead, leaning over her with a playful smile on his face.

"I don't usually move this fast." 'Millicent' Jamie comments 'shyly', her eyes dropping to his slightly revealed chest and Ryan pauses.

"I'm sorry did you-"

"No. No. I want this. You." Crashing her lips to his, Jamie deepens the kiss from before and pulls Ryan up with her so they're both standing, before pushing him into the office chair and lowering to her knees, smiling. Grabbing hold of his shoelaces, Jamie lightning fast ties them around his ankles, grabbing the second lace and wrapping the string around his wrists.

"What are you doing baby?"

Jamie laughs. "Don't call me baby." Kissing him one last time, Jamie turns, pulls down her dress and grabs a pen from the desk, grinning. "I'm not your baby to call." Jamie pants with a grin, fisting Ryan's hair and tilting his head up. "I'll admit it, you were adorable." Bringing her arm back, Jamie stabs the pen in his neck and he gasps, spasming out for a few moments before blood drips on either side of his lips, sending him into death almost immediately from her calculated location.

Letting his head fall, Jamie looks at her work for some time, grabs her phone from her purse which was on the ground and snaps a photo of him.
