Jamie's phone rings as she's getting settled into her rented home, having landed a few hours ago into Scottland. She needed to get groceries and a new burner phone before she could start unpacking some of her clothing and then some of her weapons as well.
Her hand falls over a thick patch material and when she pulls everything out. It's Hitter's mask. The one he left for her the night they...she shakes her head to stop the way her stomach begins to swirl at the thought and how her heart rate picks up speed. She promised herself to stop thinking about it for the time being, she needs to really think about it first. It's why she left. Jamie walks over to the mirror and brings the mask to her face, securing it in place by placing the straps over her ears.
It's a bit big, but nothing a little alterations can't fix.
That's when Jamie gets an idea and she takes it off then grabs her purse, leaving her room and making her way to the stairs, having forgotten all about her ringing phone.

"Hi, do you speak English?" Jamie asks with a smile when she walks into the seamstress boutique and the woman standing behind the counter tilts her head then calls for someone named Dayna.
"Hello, how can I help you?" The Scottish woman asks and Jamie steps forward then sets the mask down gently.
"I'd like to alter this to...fit my face." Jamie says softly and the woman picks the mask up then nods, turning it over.
"Would you like to keep the engraved letters?"
Jamie looks down and sees the letters, S.H scrawled at the bottom in cursive and she nods.
"Yes please. How long will this take?"
"Not long. I can call you later on today to pick it up if you'd like?" Dayna asks Jamie and she nods. "I can have it washed and dried too–"
"I'd rather you not. Just the alteration." Jamie interrupts, not wanting to rid the mask of the scent of the man who wore it first and the woman nods, a smile on her face.
"Let me measure you're face."

Returning to the guesthouse rental after having dropped off the mask, Jamie heads up to her room then logs into her email using the free desk computer in the bedroom.
Seeing a few private/incognito alerts, she taps on the file then types in her password, unlocking her job requests which she scrolls through until one catches her eye.

Subject: I need your sweet.
|I heard you're in Scotland Candy. Well it just so happens that so am I so how about we meet, and I ask you for a small favour in person? I'll even buy you a drink.
-Old Friend|
Replying to the email, Jamie smiles.

|Because you asked so nicely, I'll agree. I'll text you the address once you text me your number. Then I'll know you're serious this time.|
Jamie's burner phone goes off almost immediately and picks it up, finding an address from an unknown number she notices had called her before she left to get the mask altered and stands, grabbing her coat and pulling it on over her grey sweater dress.

The chill from outside immediately goes away when Jamie steps into the fancy restaurant, letting out a long sigh and rubbing her hands together as she looks around, then in a dark, corner booth, she spots a familiar head of ginger curls and goes over, gripping her shoulders with a laugh.
"Hi Kimmy." Jamie kisses the female's cheek then sits across from her, smiling.
"Hello, little Candy. You're not so little anymore, how are you?" Kimberly Berlin says, tone heavily accented by a German undertone but mostly sounding like a Scottish native.
"How'd you know I was here?" Jamie asks, picking up her glass of water then sipping it slowly.
"I know things. How are you little Candy?"
"I'm okay Kimmy." She says a bit too quickly and the woman frowns. Jamie knows Kimberly from years of working together. They first met while on a job targeting the same person but later became close friends when they'd call the other while in need of help every now and then.
Candy is Jamie's hit-woman name and it's all Kimmy calls her by since the day they met. The word little, is because Jamie was only nineteen when they met and Kimmy is clearly older. By how much, nobody knows.
They're as close as they can be when Kimberly disappears with no word to Jamie, reappearing when she likes.
"Lying." Kimberly states and Jamie rolls her eyes.
"Yeah and so what?"
"I'd kill for you, Candy Davenport."
"I'd kill for you too, Kimmy." Jamie agrees mockingly and the female across from her blinks and says nothing, before letting out a sigh.
"Who is Emerson Prescott?"
"Have you been stalking me?" Jamie asks, gripping the table until her knuckles turn pale.
"Of course. I always keep close tabs on my little treat." Kimmy confesses no hesitation, not trying to hide her 'crime'. "Who is he?"
"My sperm donor."
"Bio dad?"
"Sure. He's trying to kill me." Jamie says, waving over a waiter and ordering a glass of whisky, specifying no ice.
"I kill for you."
"That's nice of you, but momma Candy has it all under control, darling." Jamie winks, thanking the waiter when her drink is set down in front of her.
"Well well well...what's going on back home Candy? I watch you always but you've been secretive lately. Very secretive."
"I have someone monitoring my communication so she's probably the reason why you can't see much of what's going on. Look, Do we have to talk right now? I came to Scotland to get drunk, wanna join me?" Jamie downs her drink in one go then interlocks her fingers underneath her chin.
"You join me. I'm traveling and–"
"Committing hits? I'm in." Taking a break in one ear and out the next. Clearly.
"You sound eager, Candy Davenport."
"I'm eager for a distraction and blood is my favourite one." Jamie winks and Kimberly throws her head back and laughs loudly, ignoring the drawn in attention of people around and Jamie smiles along with her, looking down when her phone rings.
"Look, I've gotta go. But how about you come down to my rental place tomorrow and tell me about our first target?" Jamie stands, slings her bag over her shoulder and takes out a more than enough bills of the foreign cash as Kimberly nods, holding her hand out for the money and Jamie slams it in the palm of her hand, then leaving her to it.

Walking out of the restaurant, I get back into my car then drive back to the boutique, making my way inside and smiling when I see the mask waiting for me.
"Is it ready?" I ask, setting my purse aside and picking it up, holding it over my face and tugging the straps over my ears. The mask is thick enough not to show anything underneath even in the harshest light but thin enough to breathe perfectly. Now I understand how he can wear it all the time.
"Are you going to a party?" I'm asked and I nod. One I'm going to have lots of fun in. I pay then head out to my place, preparing myself for tomorrow when Kimmy is gonna come get me. Is kill therapy the best way to deal with problems? No. But am I a hit-woman who's gonna do it anyways? Hell yeah.
*****
After arriving at my rental house last night, I cashed in a few restless hours of sleep and then woke up because I was having bad dreams I didn't want to remind me of the daytime problems I was supposed to be dealing with but decided against it.
Pulling a cobalt blue jacket on over my black sports bra, I then step into black Yve Saint Laurent heels and head downstairs to the kitchen to make some coffee.
"Hello little Candy." Kimmy greets, sitting on my kitchen island while eating a donut and my mouth waters but I contain myself and pour a cup of coffee from the pot she already made. "You want one don't you?"
"I shouldn't. I'm sticking to a sort of diet. Next to no sugar except for lollipops." I tell her honestly and she rolls her eyes. I'm not a diet and fitness junkie, diets just entertain me and I get a kick of swimming twenty laps before sleeping.
"Have one." She picks up a chocolate donut coated in chocolate sprinkles and then a layer of caramel sauce and I lick my lips while scolding myself not to do it but then I give up and grab it from her, taking a massive bite and moaning from delight. I nod.
"So good. I love caramel things." I put the donut down, wipe my hands and face then pick up my mug of coffee while I finish chewing.
"Daniel Erickson." Kimmy slides a file over to me and I take a sip from my mug then open it, flipping through the contents.
"Running for senator? Too much attention. Pass." I immediately dump the file in the trash bin next to me and Kimmy smiles then slides another file over to me, which I open and flip through as well, I pause.
"Family court judge...sure. Why not." That just may be because I'm going through my own family problems and he can't do anything to help without being possibly killed...well then again, if he's getting taken out either way. "This one is all mine." I tell Kimmy who nods without a second thought and I bite the inside of my cheek.
We go through quite a few more files, which I dismiss or accept into our spree circle then I tell Kimmy we need dates for them all to set that they can align and fall into place like puzzle pieces.
We sort through that first, then we set prices for them all, send disappearing/untraceable emails to our clients and let them know how much they're paying to rid someone of their life. Sketchy as hell and messed up but you want something done, compensation is required. At the end of the day, all of us are just doing our jobs.
"When do we start, Candy?"
"How about now? I think we have a plane to catch." A smirk spreads slowly on my face and her face pulls back into a grin too.
.....
Jamie and Kimmy walk through the airport, bags in hand full of weapons and a few pieces of clothing and they share a knowing glance as they walk past everyone and everything and head directly to outside where the planes board.
As a criminal who wants to fly with such dangerous carry ons, it is important to have friends who can wave you through to your private jet with nothing but a smile.
The secret is to always know the right people.
