Biana's POV:

As it turned out, I did like the twins.

I wasn't very certain at first, maybe a little scared that the Song twins would turn out to be members of the Neverseen.

I wasn't even certain that Sophie's feelings were right about the Song twins.

But they turned out to be quite nice when I met them.

Lihn was an amazing Hydrokinetic, even I was amazed when I saw her ability. It was so cool, and she was really pretty too, she had  kinda silvery-blue eyes, though I focused on the silver more, black hair with silver tips, she looked amazing, maybe even more amazing than me.

Subject change Biana, Subject change. I thought.

Lihn's brother, what was his name again? Oh yeah, Tam. He affected her the most, something in her brain tingled whenever she looked at him. He looked similar to his sister, but definitely way fiercer. Like he had a secret past. 

I remembered his argument with Keefe about their parents, how angry he had looked, something must have triggered Tam.

Wait, why am I worrying about him now? 

Something was wrong with me, ever since they had met the twins, I had kept feeling a spark in my eye, it wasn't supposed painful, judging from how many painful incidents I had experienced, but it made me focus on it, made me feel the pain.

The pain was gone now and I wondered why.

Suddenly, my mind switched back to Tam, he was vaguely familiar to me, but I just couldn't remember.

 His cold eyes remembered me of something, but I couldn't put her finger on it. He even had stared at me for a moment, like we had met before.

Or was I just imagining it?

Shut up. We'll deal with this tomorrow, I need sleep.I told my brain.

Sleep. My brain repeated.

I sighed and went to wash up, as I stepped out of the hot shower, soaking wet, I dressed myself, and started to dry my hair.

As I dried it, I stared at my own reflection.

I was always just a object, flirting around with others just to gain their attention. I was a fake.

What did I have? I was just an ugly fake brunette with silver eyes-wait-SILVER EYES?!

I gasped and saw in the mirror that that I indeed had ONE silver eye.

I wanted to scream, but I figured that would make everyone come check on me, I couldn't do that.

I finally realized what Sophie felt to have brown eyes.

I was a freak with a silver eye.

Something tugged in my memory, something about a legend, but I had more important matters to deal with first.

How was I supposed to explain this? Unless I suddenly strode up to them and say,"Hey guys, check it out!!! I have a one silver eye and one teal eye!!!"

I'm sure they would scream.

So what could I do to tell them? Unless.....I don't tell them....

I didn't have an eye-color changer, so that sucked.

I had to find another way.

I went to Sophie's room while looking down the whole time and asked her,"Hey, Sophie. Do humans have like things to change their eye color."

"Yeah....they put on contacts. Why? Do you need them?"

"Yeah. For an experiment. Do you have any teal ones?"I asked.

 I could hear the uncertainty in her voice"Maybe I have some in my backpack.....my human mom used them sometimes...."

She quickly rummaged through her backpack, and suddenly, she handed something to me,"Here. Use this. If you want to put it on, just stick it into your eye. But don't sleep with it."

I nodded and raced out of the room, carrying the contacts thingies bottle.

I opened the bottle, and smiled.

There was a teal colored contact.

Quickly, I put one of them into my eye and looked at the mirror again.

Perfect.

No one would realize that my eye color has changed.

I smiled and took off the contacts, deciding I would wear a new one tomorrow, I climbed onto my bed and lay down, my mind was filled with thoughts.

I finally could relax, no one would realize what had happened to me, not unless I told them, I would act like everything was the fine, nothing had changed.

But still something remained the same.

I was still a freak.
