Saurbane, the mighty fork
"And lo, as that terrible minion of hell raised its scaly head, parted its slavering jaws and revealed its long, man-slaying teeth, still red with the gore of its last victim, the hero Riposte Clasicant raised his singular weapon on high. Its silver tines gleamed brightly as they caught the waning light of late-winter suns. Though the lizard knew it not, its end rapidly approached. Already that day had Saurbane, the mighty fork, terminated the frightful existence of a breakfast sausage, and yes, yellow-yolked eggs twain besides. The world stilled a little as Clasicant's hand came forward to strike, so swiftly his movement seemed a blur to the eye."

Another sort-of-illustration, this is Rip from A Duel Nature part 3-3

Straight lines are just so much easier to do in Photoshop, as are concentric curves and complicated metal objects when you have 'undo' available to you. ;)
