'Silver's POV'

I slowly push the door open, revealing a plane that has been modified to be fit for surgery. Also revealing way too many white coats to count, and our son, passed out on a medical table. He has so many things hooked up to him, the sight almost causes me to break down and cry on the spot.

All of the white coats that have guns, point them at us.

"Khaos, Silver, what a nice surprise." Vanessa smirks

"Silver, nice to see you again." I look to the person who said that; Mr. Christopher Skies

"Hello Christopher, how terrible to see you again." I glare harshly at him, he laughs

"Silver, Khaos, your son is an extremely amazing experiment. He is an exceptional mutation, one of our most successful, much like yourselves." Mr. Skies looks at Vanessa

"Put your weapons down. Now." Her devilish, dark, green eyes watch my every move as I put my bow and arrows down

"Now, remove your armour. Oh, and, whoever is watching through Silver's camera, you're never going to get them back." She cackles wickedly as she takes a handgun off of the table and shoots the camera.

The impact startles me, but I know I'm not hurt. I slowly remove my armour, leaving me in a black tank top and black tights

"Where is Lilian?" I ask, she's the only one unaccounted for

"The lion mutation? If you want to see her, she's through that door." Vanessa uses her gun to motion to another cell-like door

"Unlock it for her." Mr. Skies demands. The closest white coat takes out his keys, unlocks the door, and pushes me inside.

It's dark in the room, so it's hard to see anything. I squint my eyes, trying to see something in the dark room

"D-don't hurt me... P-please..." I'm surprised when I hear the voice. It doesn't sound like Lilian, it sounds too weak, too sad to be Lilian's voice

"Lilian, it's me..." I whisper, as if I'm trying not be heard

"S-silver..." I hear her break into a fresh wave of tears "I'm so sorry... I couldn't protect him..." I assume she's talking about Kadence

My eyes adjust to the darkness, and that's when I see her. She's sitting in the far corner of the room, curled up in a ball.

"Lilian." I run and hug her, letting my tears stream down my cheeks. Her arms shake terribly as she wraps them around me.

The speaker in the room beeps, making Lilian jump

"Silver dear, it's time to come out of there." Vanessa's voice rings over the speaker

I tighten my grip on Lilian, I'm not leaving her alone, not in this cold, dark room.

"Let me take her out of here." I demand to the speaker. It beeps again

"Silver, don't be difficult." The door to the dark room opens slowly, and Vanessa's faces appears

"I'm not leaving this room unless she is." Lilian looks at me

"Silver, it's okay..." Her voice is so quiet

"You know you don't have that kind of power. Grab her!" Four white coats run into the room, prying me away from Lilian

"No!" I struggle against them. One of them digs his taser into my lower back, shocking me. I scream and begin kicking my legs

"Don't hurt her!" Lilian stands up and runs towards me. One of the white coats points his taser gun at Lilian and shoots it at her. The shock knocks her to the floor

"Lilian!" I feel the white coat taser my back again, knocking the breath out of me just long enough for them to get me out of the room.

They throw me to the floor beside Khaos. I stand up, breathing heavily. I look at Khaos, who also looks at me

I see a taser mark on his left bicep, one on the back of his right hand, and one on the left side of his neck. This tells me that he'd tried to help me, but the white coats tasered him

"My my Silver, what a show. You know, your friend is not as nearly as successful as you, Khaos and Kadence. Really, we should just kill her now." Mr. Skies says, narrowing his eyes at me and smirking

I keep my mouth shut, I don't have the power to stop them. I squeeze my eyes shut and bite my lip, trying desperately not to cry. I know that they might do it, they could easily kill her...

I feel Khaos put his hand on my shoulder

"Khaos, take your hand off of her." Vanessa orders

"No." Khaos replies, pulling me closer to himself, wrapping me in his arms. I look up, see the defiant look in his eyes, and smile

"You are both awful at following orders, they are not going to like that." Vanessa sighs

"Who are 'they'." I ask

"Oh, don't worry, you'll see." Mr. Skies smirks. A short, light skinned white coat taps Mr. Skies shoulder, whispers something in his ear, then motions to Kadence

"It looks like you two are about to see if our last resort for taking control of your son's brain has worked." I look at Kadence, who sits up on the medical table, looking around in a panic

"Mommy! Daddy!" He jumps off of the table. Khaos lets me go and I pick Kadence up, holding him close to myself

"Kadence!" My eyes over flow with tears

"Don't get too happy, we haven't tested him yet." Vanessa smirks

"Kadence, attack."
