Anthony Williams

Celine and I were sitting by the beach, under the bridge where we used to play when we were kids.

"Turn me into a worm!", I told her.

"Really? Are you a kid or something?", she jokingly asked.

"Remember when we used to do this a lot?"

"Yeah. Really adorable. Okay, lie down. I'll turn you into a worm." She placed sand on top of my body and failed to cover you know what.

"You forgot to cover something!"

"I can't help it! It's embarassing! We haven't...even...you know...", she became quiet. I laughed.

"What's so funny?!", she asked.

"I thought you wanted that until we get married?", I asked her. She turned away, blushing.

"Yeah.", she turned around,"that's why I'm not going to cover that! You cover it!", she demanded. I laughed again.

"Honestly, you acting all shy makes me want to hug you!", I got up and hugged her.

"Hey! You're full of sand! Get off me!", she said. We both laughed and she got away from my hug.

"Oh no you're not going anywhere!"

We chased each other. She went and splashed me with water. I went in with her and now both of us got wet. We were laughing, having fun like kids. How I wish we continued to be like this fourteen years ago. But life doesn't flow that way. It will always have its ups and downs but what's important is,then again, not how you plan on spending it but rather it's about who you're spending it with. And I would rather spend my life with this woman in front of me, the girl that I had loved way back then.

"Are you okay, Anthony?", she asked while tucking her hair behind her ear.

"Yeah. Hey Celine! Let's have kids now!", I teased her. She got all flustered. Very cute.

"S-s-s-shut it! D-don't rush."

"We'll be married in a few weeks anyway so why not do it now? I have been waiting for eight months now.  I'm dying, Celine!"

"Hmph. If you love me, then wait.", she turned away and walked towards the shore. I smiled and I rushed and carried her.

"Hey!"

"Let's do it now! I can't wait any longer!" We were laughing and I rushed towards our house.

"Let me down, Mr!"  I did as what she wanted.

"Seriously?", she asked with a smile on her face, walking towards the bathroom to grab a towel.

"Yes. Now."

"Stop it Mr. Anthony Williams.", she said. I carried her again to our bedroom. I laid her on the bed. She sat up.

"You look so beautiful.", I told her. She blushed.

"There you go again, teasing me like always.", she replied. I walked towards her and leaned in close to her.

"I'm not teasing you and never always have. You are really beautiful. I'll never grow tired of telling you how beautiful you are." She looked at me sweetly and she placed the towel on top of my head.

"You'll catch a cold.", she said. I grabbed her hand and leaned in to kiss her. She kissed me back. Gently we both lied in bed.

Dimly lit room. Her soft skin. The warm feeling when our skin touch each other. I love every feeling of it all because it was her. She's the one I'm with right now at this moment.

"Anthony.", she whispered. I kissed her neck and she looked at me. We both smiled at each other.

"I never thought I would do this with my childhood friend.", she said.

"And I never thought I would fall in love with the woman I loathed for eight years.", I replied.

"Funny how things can change.", she said.

"Yeah. We've gone through so much together and we'll go through so much more in the future. Will you be there with me?", I asked.

"Of course. I'll be there with you, Anthony because I love you.", she replied. I pecked her lips.

"I love you too, Celine."
