"I can't believe I snuck out." Mikayla said with wide, yet excited, eyes. Allison laughed at her slightly, while Lydia had a fond look on her face.

"You've snuck out before, Mia." Lydia reminded her with an amused look. They got closer and closer to the rink, parking farther than any of them would have wanted. But Allison and Mikayla had seemed overly cautious and scared about being caught. Lydia decided to roll with it.

"I know, but this is like.. different." Mikayla said starting to speak with her hands. "It's almost like a fourway date."

"Kayla." Allison said with a soft tone and a confused look. "The only couple there is me and Scott."

"Well.." Mikayla started to say but Lydia put an arm around her younger sisters shoulders.

"The only way this would be near a date is if Boyd was there." Lydia said with a sharp look. "He was so good to you."

"He was.. wasn't he." Mikayla said looking off into the distance. "You're right, the only other pair that's even near a couple is Sydney and Vivian."

Lydia's grip suddenly got tighter, as did the smile she had on her face. "But lucky for us they aren't. Imagine how messy that could get."

Mikayla nodded while her gaze wandered over to where she could see Stiles jeep parking closer to the front.

Stiles and Sydney were in the two front seats. Tara was behind Stiles in the back with Vivian next to her and Scott on the other side. Tara had been staring out the window silently the entire ride. They all noticed it but decided to ignore it for the time being. Hoping that this outing would help her.

As they pulled in she looked over at Allison and Mikayla, specifically. With their wide smiles. Tara looked over at Scott, his eyes had landed on Allison as well. His face lit up, he started fidgeting. Tara looked away again.

"I can't believe Lydia was invited." Vivian said with a judgmental look.

"Hey, ease off her." Sydney said shooting Vivian a look. "She went through the same things you did. We all went through a lot this last year."

"Which is why we're here. To blow off some steam. To have fun." Stiles interjected as he put the car in park.

"Fine, I'll be nice." Vivian said mumbling something under her breath. "As long as she is."

Tara let a small smile take over her face as she landed on the ground, Vivian right behind her. The two of them shared a look, a look that asked so many questions but only one at the same time. 'Are You Okay.'

Stiles appeared in front of them before Tara could reply. She just widened her small smile and nodded her head forward, encouraging Vivian to take the lead. The girl looked hesitant but agreed nonetheless, taking her place next to Stiles as they walked towards the front doors.

Sydney met up with the two of them as they rounded the car. She reached her hand out in front of Vivian towards Stiles, silently asking for the keys. Stiles looked down at her hand then back up at her with raised eyebrows. "No way."

"Come on. We both got the keys from Boyd." Sydney said earning a scoff from her twin.

"But did we both pay him forty? No." Stiles said keeping his hands, and the keys, safely in his pockets.

"Hey, I paid him too." Sydney tried to argue earning a shocked look.

"Yeah, ten dollars! You probably won that back with a bet." Stiles said with a dramatically offended look. Vivian rolled her eyes at the siblings. Tara and Scott were holding back laughs as they reached the doors.

They surprisingly all got to the front at the same time, standing in a small group as Stiles unlocked the door to Sydney's annoyance. Lydia moved closer to said girl, who was still standing next to Vivian and Stiles.

Stiles pulled the doors open with a wide smile, he flipped the switches on the side and the huge room lit up. The rink was glowing, calling to them to forget about everything. Allison walked inside first, grabbing Scott's arm lightly. He followed her inside, as Mikayla walked in with a smile aimed at Stiles.

Lydia came to a stop in front of Sydney, she looked around before giving a small nod. Sydney smiled down at her before walking inside after the red head. Vivian walked inside afterwards, Stiles following her like a lost puppy. Tara looked up at the moon for a minute, she then just looked into the night sky.

Hoping Isaac was somewhere safe.

Lydia and Sydney were sat side by side as they tightened their skates. Sydney kept taking small glances over at the other. Concern and uncertainty in her gut. Lydia finished tying her skates and started to pull down her jacket.

"Could it be any colder in here?" Lydia asked shifting slightly. Sydney wasted no time and took off her own jacket, handing it over to the other. Lydia looked a little surprised at the gesture. She shook her head slightly after a minute.

"No, you'll be cold." Lydia said quickly looking back down at her skates, pretending to check on them even though they were perfectly fine and she was just trying to hide her blush. It was cold, that's why it was there. That's why it had to be there.

"Oh, but Lyds. I'm a natural heater. I've always run hot." Sydney said with a smirk while pretending not to be colder than she usual was. Sydney had been feeling warmer since she became a wolf, not getting cold as quickly.

"You do always seem hot." Lydia said with a slightly memorized look. Sydney gave her a confused look as a blush settled on her face. Lydia shook her head and scoffed trying to play it off. "I mean, anytime I stand next to you. It- It's like I'm standing next to an oven."

Lydia stood up, but not before taking the jacket that was still being offered to her. She walked away with slight embarrassment, Sydney looked at her retreating figure with a satisfied smile before she got up and followed her.

Mikayla let out a sigh as she watched the two. She looked beside her at Stiles. They had both almost put their skates on, Mikayla bringing her own from home. She had taken a few skating lessons before, always trying to find a special interest.

She felt herself shiver slightly, looking over at Stiles to see if he noticed but his eyes were focused on Tara and Vivian. Both of them didn't look as happy as the rest of their group, but Vivian seemed to be trying to act excited.

"She sucks at skating." Stiles said startling Mikayla out of her thoughts. He was looking right at her, heat making its way to her face.

"The Vivian Gasko, isn't good at something?" Mikayla asked in a teasing tone.

"She took a lesson in 4th grade, it didn't go as well as she expected. Her knees were fucked up for a week." Stiles said with a fond smile at the memory, he looked back over at Vivian. "She forced one of us to help her up that whole week and swore off skating."

"Yet, she came today." Mikayla said looking at how Vivian was holding Tara's hand, she was being supportive.

"Yeah, she didn't even bat an eye." Stiles said with a dreamy sigh, looking back at Mikayla. She shivered again but was too focused on the other two girls to notice. But this time Stiles did. "Are you cold?"

Mikayla's eyes snapped back over to him, she shrugged as if she didn't feel the goosebumps on her skin. "A little."

Stiles reached into the backpack he brought, he pulled out an orange sweater. Mikayla let herself smile for a minute before reminding herself that he had probably brought it for specifically for Vivian. But she let herself dream.

Mikayla grabbed it before looking down at the jacket she was wearing, blue. "Uh, this won't match. Blue and Orange clash."

"But it's the color of the Mets." Stiles said with a shocked look at Mikayla's statement. She laughed at his face while shaking her head.

"Fine, maybe this is one of those combinations that ends up being a good thing." Mikayla said starting to put the sweater on, while taking her jacket off.

"What?" Stiles asked as he finally finished with his skates.

"Um, well, there's sometimes these pairs that, you don't think will work. But they actually turn out perfect." Mikayla said taking a pause before adding. "Like two people.. who nobody thought would be together. Ever."

"I can see that." Stiles said making Mikayla brighten up.

"You can?" She said softly. Stiles nodded in response before looking around nervously.

"Can I ask you something?" He asked making Mikayla hold her breath.

"Yeah, of course." Mikayla said quickly nodding her head. Stiles looked back over at Vivian to find her already looking at them. She quickly looked away at the same time as Stiles.

"I brought these two candy bars for Vivian and Tara. Um... they didn't seem that excited and I thought it'd cheer them up. But I- should I give it to them?" Stiles asked seeming to get more and more nervous as he continued. Mikayla gave her a soft smile while the bittersweet feeling settled in her chest.

"You should give it to them." Mikayla said placing her hand on Stiles shoulder. "It's really sweet."

Stiles seemed to sit straighter as he nodded to himself. He smiled at Mikayla. "Thanks."

"Of course, anything." Mikayla said both of them standing at the same time. "I think I'm going to go to the rink."

"Okay, I'll see you in there." Stiles said with his dorky smile. Mikayla watched him walk towards Tara and Vivian who had been very focused on their own conversation.

"They look cute." Tara said watching Allison and Scott walk to the rink together after Scott helped Allison with her skates.

"We're cuter." Vivian said squeezing Tara's hand. "I mean, look at us."

Tara looked over at Vivian who motioned to their matching skates that they both stole from behind the counter. "Not every duo has the same foot size."

They both laughed at Vivian's comment before Tara took a deep breath and straightened her stance. "You're right. We've known each other for years, but Scott and Allison barley a year."

"It's embarrassing." Vivian said with teasingly sympathetic look making Tara laugh again. She still had a smile on her face when she met eyes with Stiles who just got to the two of them. Tara elbowed Vivian making her look over. "Hey, Stiles."

"Hey, um.. I." Stiles stumbled before regaining his composure. "I brought you guys something."

He pulled out a Reese's and a 3 Musketeers Bar. Tara's face lit up as she grabbed the 3 Musketeers. Vivian had a wide smile as she grabbed her own candy bar. "Thank you Stiles."

"Well you two seemed more mopey then the rest of us." Stiles said with a shrug. He looked around before looking down at the sitting Vivian. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Sure." Vivian said standing up, grabbing Stiles arm for balance as she almost immediately lost her balance.

"I'll meet you guys in the rink." Tara said with her mouth full as she walked away.

"Swallow before you talk." Vivian yelled after her before shaking her head. "Kids."

Stiles laughed slightly at her, Vivian's hand still on his arm. Something he was desperately trying to ignore. Vivian looked back over at him, now standing her full height. Only an inch away from Stiles. "What do you need to talk about?"

"Oh, um." Stiles stuttered again, nervous for a reason he can't even explain. He had talked to Vivian alone without any problem. "I just wanted to say, that- um.. that I get if you wouldn't want to actually skate. If you wanted I could hang out with you outside the rink. If you wanted."

Vivian smiled softly before looking at the rink, shaking her head. "Nah, I'll be fine."

"Are you sure?" Stiles asked making her looked back over at him, a new vulnerability in her eyes. "I know how hurt you got last time."

Vivian took a deep breath as she stared into his eyes. "You're always so prepared. For any scenario."

"I'm the Sheriff's son. Comes with the territory." Stiles shrugged it off with a small smile. Vivian shook her head slightly.

"It comes with being Stiles Stilinski." Vivian said looking down at her feet. She looked back up at him. "Thank you. For always being prepared."

Stiles let his smile widen. "Well.. I just- yeah. Thought it'd be a good idea."

"I think the candy and support will do." Vivian said looking over at Tara, she was skating with ease while watching Allison teach Scott. He was just as bad as Vivian. "We should go though, want Scott to have someone he's on level with."

"You mean you right?" Stiles asked as he followed Vivian to the rink entrance.

"Because you suck at this."

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

Lydia spun in a circle, taking advantage of the almost empty rink. She skated gracefully back over to Sydney, who had been staring at her. Dumbfounded at her talent.

"Come on? Are you going to skate or stare?" Lydia asked with her typical sarcastic tone. Sydney blinked quickly, shaking herself out of the trance.

"How can I help myself with such a beautiful sight?" Sydney asked with a playful smile. Lydia rolled her eyes before grabbing Sydney's hand and forcing her to skate. They passed right by Vivian and Stiles, on the side of the rink at the very back.

He was holding her hands as she pressed her side against the wall of the rink. "This was a bad idea. Just leave me here."

"Vivian, you're doing great. You got half way." Stiles encouraged trying not to laugh at the girl as she stubbornly shook her head.

"Nope. I'm dying here." Vivian said trying to cross her arms but forgetting that Stiles was still holding them. He had helped her stay balanced the entire way.

"That doesn't sound like the Vivian that I know." Stiles said tilting his head.

"The Vivian you know, died half a rink ago." Vivian said glaring at Stiles with no heat. Stiles let a small laugh out as Mikayla skated past them. She kept her head down as she did a spin in the air before landing perfectly. Ms. Hilden would be proud.

"That was really good." Tara said clapping, she had left the side of the rink with Allison and Scott. She couldn't take the torture anymore of watching them.

"Well, Ice Skating was a big interest for me a few years ago." Mikayla said stopping in front of Tara. "Boyd actually took me on our first date here, last year."

"That's cool." Tara said with a genuine smile. "My parents took me to lessons for a year before the realized it wouldn't help them land anymore friends."

"Did you like it?" Mikayla asked skating to lean next to Tara.

"I loved my teacher. She was pretty nice." Tara said her eyes wondering to Scott. "But it wasn't the right fit, I guess. I never learned to do what you just did."

"Oh, well." Mikayla said as Tara looked back at her, a blush on the younger girls face. She looked over at Stiles and Vivian, she started skating again while chatting about something to distract herself. "I didn't have that many friends, so I spent a good amount of time here when my interest was at its peak."

"Looks like you and I have something in common." Tara said recognising the look on Mikayla's face before she looked back over at Tara.

"What do you mean?" Mikayla asked with a tense stance.

"We're both trying to get over people." Tara said casually, the lack of sleep taking her filter.

"Is it that obvious?" Mikayla asked with a defeated sigh.

"I mean, Vivian noticed, and she didn't even notice Stiles had a crush on her." Tara said with a shrug.

"Are you serious?" Mikayla asked with wide eyes. "How could she not tell."

"Well I think she's caught on now." Tara said looking at the two as they skate together. Always a team, and a damn good one. "But she was in denial for awhile. Jesus. And I don't mean the river."

"I can't believe she didn't notice. It's all I could notice." Mikayla said still in shock.

"All I could notice was Allison and Scott, anytime he came over to us with a big smile on his face. I knew he had to have been with Allison." Tara said, some resentment in her voice. "You want to steal some snacks?"

Mikayla couldn't react because they both heard a loud smack. Everyone turned towards Scott and Allison. Mikayla and Tara skated over to where Scott was laying on the ice with Allison leaning over him.

"Did you hit your head?" Allison asked with concern.

"What's that, Coach?" Scott asked reaching out as he blinked rapidly.

"He hit his head."

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

"I didn't even like MJ." Mikayla said sitting next to Tara on the counter, both with chip bags in their hands.

"She was only with Peter because he was Spider-Man." Tara said shaking her head. Sydney walked over to them with a shake of her head.

"Howdy." Tara said with a mouthful.

"What are you doing here? Where's Lydia?" Mikayla asked as she finished her chips.

"She got too advanced for me. Decided to take a break." Sydney said leaning on the counter between the two with a sigh. "I think Stiles is doing the same if you two want to find him."

"Did Vivian finally make it around?" Mikayla asked with an amused smile.

"Oh yeah, and then she promptly sat on the ice and took off her skates." Sydney said laughing at the memory. "She might still be sitting there."

Vivian sighed as she leaned against the edge of the rink. She was too tired to get up just yet, not back to a normal sleep schedule yet. It was almost empty, only Lydia and her left. Both of them avoiding the other.

Even after both of them were almost killed by Peter they still haven't really connected. They didn't utterly hate each other anymore, but they weren't best friends either.

Vivian opened her eyes when she heard a thud on the ice. She looked straight ahead and saw Lydia on her knees in front of some wolfsbane. Vivian slowly got up and walked towards her. Lydia and Vivian made eye contact before Vivian dropped to her knees.

The ice in between the two of them was darker than the rest, like something was waiting to be uncovered. Lydia wiped away the snow covering the ice, Peters face was revealed. Vivian was frozen as he started to scream while shaking his head, his hands pressed against the ice.

Lydia looked up and screamed bloody murder. In an instant Stiles was with them, Vivian didn't even notice. She was too focused on the face staring back at her. Her breathing started to pick up, she grasped for Stiles. He let her pull him towards her.

"Scott, Syd- they can't. It's not... safe." Vivian muttered trying to take deep breaths but failing.

"What? Vivian, what do you see?" Stiles asked making her look at him then where she had just been staring. Nothing was there, it disappeared.

"I don't know."

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

"Let me take the lead." Sydney said as she and Scott walked to where she knew Erica's locker had to be.

"Why?" Scott asked, more curious then trying to start an argument.

"I knew her before all this. I had three classes with her. Ones without any friends." Sydney started to explain remembering the innocent Erica she had once known. "So we sat together, and we'd talk sometimes. She was so sweet and shy... I just."

"Okay, you can take the lead." Scott said as they turned the corner and found her applying makeup while looking at the mirror in her locker. A new addition.

Scott and Sydney came to a stop right behind her, she suddenly straightened her stance. Noticing the two now behind her. She took a deep breath before putting on a confident yet seductive smile and turning towards them.

"Three's not enough for Derek." Sydney said softly. "I know he needs at least four. So who's next?"

Erica raised her eyebrow at the two of them. She scoffed while closing her locker. "Why does there have to be a next, when we've already got you two?"

"Erica." Sydney said making a point to look at her eyes as she walked closer to the two of them.

"Who's next?" Scott asked, more commanding then Sydney had been. Erica widened her eyes sarcastically smiling at Scott as she moved her gaze to him.

"You know, I never knew what I looked like during a seizure," Erica said not answering the question once again. "until someone took a video of me once and put it online."

Sydney remembers that. It was in one of their classes. She had fallen down, Sydney started to help her, not noticing the camera on them. When she saw it online later, it took all her strength not to beat the guy bloody. That didn't mean she didn't punch him the next day. Two days detention, but it was worth it.

"I don't care." Scott said shaking his head. Sydney knew he meant he didn't need to hear a sob story to know why she did it. They still didn't fully know why Tara did it, she didn't seem to tell anyone. Not even Vivian, which was the biggest surprise.

"It was during class." Erica continued looking over at Sydney who was stone cold.

"They were laughing and talking about how they should put something in your mouth." Sydney said quietly, letting Erica know she hadn't forgotten.

"You remembered." Erica said with an emotionless smile. "You were the one that said they shouldn't because it'd break my teeth. Sydney's the only one that helped me."

"Erica." Scott said as Erica started to tear up.

"Do you know what happens next?" Erica asked looking over at Scott with shaky breaths. "I piss myself."

Erica walked closer and closer to Scott, backing him into the lockers while Sydney stared at her. "And they start laughing harder. You know, the only good thing about seizures was that I never remembered them."

She pushed Scott into the locker harshly before turning to Sydney, standing there hopelessly. "Until some brilliant jerkoff.. had to go and put cameras in everyone's phone."

"Erica please.." Sydney said quietly as Erica held her shoulder.

"You couldn't stop that.. or you didn't want to." Erica whispered, too close for a public place.

"Don't accuse me of that." Sydney snapped back letting her anger guide her. "I made sure he felt what he did to you."

A flash of surprise shown in Erica's eyes before she looked over and saw Lydia watching the two of them. Standing so closely in the middle of the hall. "Is Lydia Martin your new prize, something you can protect... or is it still Vivian."

Sydney grabbed Erica's hand, using her strength to shove them off of her. Scott had been watching the two of them, but Sydney was too mad to focus on that. Her glare softened as she looked at Erica, how she is now and how she was before.

"What happened to you Erica?" Sydney asked her voice getting soft again. A defensive look appeared on Erica's face.

"What happened to you?"

"I brought the anesthetic you asked for." Naomi said as she walked into the room where Melissa was working on a patient.

"Oh, I won't need it." The patient said making Melissa looked back at Naomi with a shocked look.

"Are you serious?" Melissa asked looking back at the women. She looked down at her arm where a deep cut was, one recently cleaned by Melissa. There no trace of a joke on her face. "Okay."

"I'll leave it here just in case." Naomi said setting down at needle on the table by Melissa. She stared at the woman for a moment, recognizing her from somewhere. She smiled up at them and it clicked. "You're Allison's mom."

"Oh, and you're Vivian and Tara's mom aren't you?" Victoria asked with a polite tone. Naomi didn't miss a beat, nodding at the insinuation that Tara was her actual daughter. She basically was. "And you're are obviously Scott's mom.. how is he?"

"Scott? He's, uh, like every other teenager." Melissa said with her own polite smile as she finished adding the stiches.

"I'm sure he was pretty devastated after the whole breakup." Victoria said starting to ignore Naomi, but she wasn't going to leave. She was starting to distrust Victoria Argent. Especially in a room alone with Melissa.

"He has been a little odd lately." Naomi said for Melissa, it was the truth.

"He's always kind of odd." Melissa said with a small smile between the two women. She looked back at the women, her smile dropping into an uncertain frown. "But he doesn't seem all that.."

"Heartbroken?" Victoria asked, like she was trying to push something out of Melissa.

"Yeah." Melissa said nodding slightly with a straight face.

"Maybe he just hides it well." Naomi said trying to be as polite as possible to the women she didn't trust.

"Teenagers are quite good at hiding things, aren't they?" Victoria asked, striking a cord in Naomi's heart.

"I should go." Naomi said before walking out of the room.

Trying not to think about her girls.

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

Sydney and Stiles walked into the lunch room. They moved to where they saw Scott before Tara and Vivian stopped in front of them.

"Do you notice something about this lunchroom?" Vivian asked tilting her head to the table right in front of Scott. Sydney and Stiles both looked at the table before the recognition dawned on them.

The four of them rushed over to where Scott was sitting. They almost bumped into Allison, who looked like she wanted to storm off. They ignored that for the time being and all stood behind Scott pointing towards the table.

"Notice something?" Stiles asked as Scott looked at the table.

"An empty table?" Scott asked confused as he looked back at them. Mikayla appeared in front of them all a second later.

"Boyd isn't here."

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

"We're gonna go to the Ice Rink and see if he's there. And if he's not at home, call us. Got it?" Scott said as they formulated the plans and groups. Vivian, Stiles, and Sydney with the other being Mikayla, Scott, and Tara.

Tara and Stiles shared an uncertain look. Vivian looked between the two with a confused look. "What?"

"Maybe we should let him." Stiles said stopping with Tara next to them, looking at the four in front of them.

"Boyd, you know. Derek's giving them a choice." Tara added with a shrug. Sydney grabbed Stiles arm and started to pull him forward, Vivian doing the same to Tara but gentler. They all continued to walk.

"We can't." Mikayla said with a certainty they hadn't heard from her before, like she was hiding some added reason for her choice.

"You gotta admit, Erica looks pretty good." Stiles said after Sydney let him go.

"You're telling me." Sydney muttered before Vivian slapped both of their heads.

"Pull yourselves together." Vivian said with a scoff. "How good do you think she's going to look with a wolfsbane bullet in her head?"

"V.." Tara said looking at her best friend, but Vivian had a serious look. "All right."

"All I'm saying is maybe this one isn't totally your responsibility." Stiles said seeming to hit something in Scott's heart.

"Stiles is actually making sense." Vivian said with a small sigh. "If Boyd wants the bite... maybe we can't stop him?"

"No, we.. we have to stop him. He can't be in the crossfires of the war we might have started." Mikayla said with passion.

"You know this thing's gonna get out of control." Sydney said looking at the now three who were on the opposing side of them. "That makes us responsible. Like Mikayla said."

Stiles looked at Vivian then at Tara and they all sighed. "We're with you."

"All I'm gonna say is this newfound heroism," Stiles said looking only at Scott "is making my very attracted to you."

"Jesus Christ." Vivian said pinching the bridge of her nose

"Shut up." Scott said shaking his head at his friend. Sydney looked over at Tara to see her opinion but she had a smile, she looked at Sydney and dramatically winked. Sydney scoffed and laughed at her.

"No, seriously." Stiles said making them all freeze for a second, wondering if Stiles is finally going to join his sister, out of the closet. Then his tone gave him away. "Maybe we should like try something-"

Scott shoved him forward.

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

Stiles pounded the door with Sydney and Vivian next to him. Sydney looking in a window while Vivian stood between them yelling. "Boyd?"

"It's Stiles!" Stiles yelled after her. They didn't get a response so they turned and almost ran into Erica who was standing in front of them now. "Oh go-"

She had a satisfied look on her face at Stiles surprise, and Sydney's pointily looking at her eyes. She giggled at the two Stilinski's trying not to get distracted by her looks while Vivian rolled her eyes.

"What are you doing here?" She asked with an innocently deceiving smile.

"Visiting a friend." Vivian said bluntly taking the lead.

"You know what you're doing right now that's kind of funny?" Erica asked looking at Sydney and Stiles. "You're only looking in my eyes."

"That's funny?" Stiles said with his chin held out.

"Well, yeah. Because it's that kind of look where you're trying not to look anywhere other than my eyes, but you want to. Don't you." Erica said in a patronizing manner.

"Jesus, Erica." Vivian said with a judgemental look.

"Aw, is Vivian jealous that Stiles is looking somewhere that isn't her?" Erica asked making Vivians glare narrow before she mirrored the smile on Erica's face.

"Stiles is a teenage boy.. he's looked at other things on the computer plenty of times." Vivian said trying to ignore something that could be labeled as jealousy.

"Yeah, he just wants to take a long, hard, look at only my eyes." Erica said walking closer and closer to Stiles. Like she had done with Sydney earlier.

Sydney was starting to wish she was in that position again.. only so Stiles didn't have to experience it.

"You have very beautiful eyes." Stiles said still only looking at her eyes.

"I have beautiful everything." Erica said as a matter of fact making Vivian roll her eyes again.

"You've always had beautiful everything." Sydney said quietly, knowing Erica would catching it. She just shot Sydney a glare, like she didn't believe her.

"This new-found self confidence is starting to actually annoy me." Vivian said trying to move past her but was stopped by Erica's hand, hurting her as Erica pushed Vivian back. Stiles let his hand move towards her to catch her if she tripped but she was able to stable herself.

"You're not going anywhere." Erica said dropping the act, letting a dark look take over her face.

"Why is that?" Stiles asked starting to get nervous. She held up some random part of his jeep, none of the people present knowing how it would help or hurt how the jeep ran.

"You're having car trouble." Erica said punching Stiles and Vivian in the face, both of them falling to the ground. Passed out.

She turned her attention to Sydney, who was a second away from transforming. "You don't have to do this, Erica."

"But.. I do." Erica said, seeming to show some regret before she used her full strength to hit the car part across Sydney's face. Knocking her out before a full fight could happen.

One Erica knew she would lose.

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

It was dark when Tara, Scott, and Mikayla got to the Ice Rink. They walked onto the very same ice that they had stood on the night before as Vivian and Lydia had to be held. Boyd was on a zamboni, the huge room almost completely dark.

Mikayla was the first to take a step forward. "Boyd."

He looked over at them, his eyes went back to his job. Mikayla felt a sting of hurt. Scott took a step forward next, now next to her. "We just wanna talk."

The three of them walked closer and closer to him as he continued to ignore them. "Boyd, come on, please."

"Did Derek tell you everything?" Mikayla asked with desperation. "With control, and the full moon. I mean everything."

He stopped the zamboni as they were only a foot away from him. He looked tired. Boyd stared forward with an emotionless smirk. Before turning to them.

"He told me about the hunters." Boyd said answering their question.

"And that's not enough for you to say no?" Scott asked with Mikayla right next to him. Tara was standing behind them, knowing she had no room to try and convince him.

"Whatever you want, there are other ways to get it." Mikayla said, ready to beg. She had taken Boyd for granted, and she didn't want him to make a big mistake. One that could cost his life.

"I just want to not eat lunch alone everyday." Boyd said simply making guilt settle in the three's stomachs.

"If you're looking for friends, you can do a lot better than Derek." Scott said almost scoffing. Tara looked up and met eyes with Boyd.

"Boyd." Was the only thing Tara could say in response.

"That really hurts Scott." Derek's voice said making the three of them looking in his direction. He was standing a foot in front of Erica and.. Isaac.

"Isaac." Tara said making eye contact with him. She felt relief fill her, he looked healthy.

"I mean, if you're going to review me, at least take a consensus." Derek said motioning to Erica and Isaac, then looking directly at Tara. "Erica, how's life been for you since we met?"

Erica was twirling a piece of hair with her finger pretending to think. "Hmm. In a word.. transformative."

"Isaac?" Derek asked next to the brooding figure.

"Well, I'm a little bummed about being a fugitive, but other than that, I'm great." Isaac said before they all turned to Tara.

"Ms. Varrington?" Derek asked making Scott's eyes land on her.

"Um.. well, I was happy for a few days then I was really sad after the full moon. I also- like am really scared of some of you.. and I don't really fit in. Cause you guys seem to really like leather jackets. I've never been a fan, they're too stiff in my opinion." Tara said with a nervous edge, trying to make a joke. She saw Isaac look down with the beginning of a smile on his face. She looked at Derek who didn't look too disappointed or surprised. Like he knew something.

"Okay, hold on. This isn't exactly a fair fight." Scott said holding his hands up.

"Then go home. Scott and Mikayla, Tara can stay if she wants." Derek said with smirk. Scott fell to the ground punching the ice with his head down. Mikayla and Tara backed up.

"I meant fair for them." Scott said looking up fully transformed. He roared and the battle began.

Tara kept Mikayla away from them, ready to defend her or Boyd. She was looking around as each of the wolves went flying. Scott usually having the advantage. Derek watched from afar, slowly walking over to Tara and Mikayla.

"Are you not going to join in?" Derek asked as he slowly got closer, ignoring as Isaac went flying. "Scott might need some help.. or my team."

"I'm not.. I can't." Tara said feeling conflicted. Isaac and Erica were like her, they needed this. She doesn't want to hurt them or Scott.

"That's the thing, Tara. You're going to have to choose. At some point. So will your friend." Derek said motioning to Mikayla who was looking at Boyd. He was still on the machine and was starting to look scared and concerned.

"He's not doing this for you." Scott yelled at the two figures lying on the floor. Isaac and Erica completely losing the battle. "He's just adding to his own power. It's all about him. He makes you feel like he's giving you some kind of gift when all he's done is turn you into a bunch of guard dogs."

"Scott.." Tara said quietly. He looked up at her, his eyes going back to their normal brown. "To them.. he is helping. Life wasn't good."

"Tara's right.. but so are you. It is about power." Derek said as Isaac and Erica were slid towards him. Derek transformed as he and Scott prepared for their round of fighting.

"Talk to him." Tara said leaving Mikayla near Boyd before sliding down beside Isaac. She looked over his face, she softly placed her hand on his cheek before a hand grabbed it. Isaac pulled it away looking at her hand and then her.

"Tare?" Isaac asked letting her hand go. Tara gave him a small smile, hardly being able to muster that up.

"Are you okay?" Tara whispered trying to ignore the fight going on.

"Well, if I'm waking up to this sight," Isaac said with his eyes only on Tara "I have to be doing pretty okay."

Tara let out an amused breath before she heard a thud behind her. She whipped her head around still kneeling with a now sitting Isaac. Scott was on the floor with Derek's foot on his throat.

She got up quickly running over, Isaac attempting to catch her arm but failing. "Derek."

Derek moved his foot by the time Tara got over to them. Scott had a slash on his chest and blood coming from his mouth. She kneeled beside him as Derek walked away and the other two Were's got up.

"Boyd.." Mikayla said as he got down. She moved in front of him, blocking his path anywhere. "You don't want to be like them."

Boyd had a soft look on his face as he looked at the girl that got away. "You broke up with me."

"I don't know what I was thinking." Mikayla said with tears coming into her eyes. "I was actually going to ask you out at school when I noticed you were missing."

"You were?" Boyd asked searching her face. Mikayla nodded trying to keep the tears away.

"I was ready to beg you to take me back." Mikayla said taking a deep breath. "You don't want to be like them."

Boyd sighed before pulling up his shirt. A bite was on display on his side. Tara and Scott looked at it then Mikayla, who looked devastated.

"You're right." Boyd said looking from Mikayla to Scott. "I want to be like him."

Boyd walked away from Mikayla and the others. He followed Derek and his other packmates out of the rink. Derek looked back on more time.

"Remember what I said. All three of you."
