After learning that she in fact did not kill Mrs. Morris, and that she didn't even attack anyone, Sydney had decided that she would go on that date with Lydia. But not fully go.

Sydney was at Vivian's door with a bright smile and Tara's favorite candy, which coincidently was also Vivian's. When Naomi opened the door she let her face settle into a playful stern face.

"What are your intentions with my daughters?" Naomi asked in a horrible British voice.

"Oh only to ask them to the ball." Sydney said with the same voice only more masculine. She bowed and when she looked back up Vivian was next to her mom, with a poorly hidden smile.

"All these suitors are crowding up by patio." Naomi joked before she left the two alone.

"How may I help you?" Vivian asked taking her moms place.

"I would like to ask you on a date. Well not a date." Sydney said trying to find the right word. "A hang out."

"Explain more Sir Sydney." Vivian said in a better posh accent.

"Well you heard about the triple date. I'd love to see it go horribly, but not while I'm included. So.. I was thinking you, me, and Tara go and get a different lane and watch from the sidelines." Sydney explained handing her the chocolate when she's finished.

"You really know the way to a ladies heart." Vivian said sarcastically holding her heart. "I'd love to, Tara's in my room."

Sydney accepted the silent invite in trying to hold back her excitement as the door closed.

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

Lydia didn't like Vivian. Vivian didn't like Lydia. It's been like this for awhile, even more so when Sydney became friends with Lydia. They generally avoided each other which is why it surprised Tara that Vivian said yes to this 'hang out'.

"Are you okay?" Tara asked as Vivian looked through her closet.

"Yes?" Vivian said with amusement.

"It's just I didn't think you'd ever willingly spend more than 4 minutes with Lydia." Tara explained sitting on the bed.

"I'm not spending time with Lydia." Vivian said pulling out a shirt and looking it over. "I'm hanging out with you and Sydney. Lydia may happen to be there."

Tara started laughing hopping up from Vivian's bed. She walked over to Vivian with a playful smile pushing in front of her, taking Vivian's attention away from her clothes. "Maybe this is more than a hang out."

Vivian scoffed when Tara wiggled her eyebrows. She pushed her lightly aside fully turning away from her clothes. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"I've never seen you stress this much about clothes when you go bowling with Stiles." Tara commented laying back on the bed.

"Yeah, also half of my clothes are from Stiles or You." Vivian deflected. "Plus, fashion queen Lydia will be there."

"I thought you didn't care about peoples opinions?" Tara asked tilting her head.

"I don't. But Lydia is Sydney's best friend so I should get on better terms with her." Vivian said begrudgingly accepting the fact that she might have to be nice to Lydia.

"Yeah. What's up with that?" Tara asked.

"With what." Vivian turned around putting her hands on her hips.

"You and Sydney." Tara said hesitantly. "Is it about.. you know?"

Vivian took a deep breath considering. "I honestly couldn't tell you."

Tara was still wrapping her head around the idea of Sydney being a werewolf. She trusted her but Sydney also is the reason Jackson knows about that stupid nickname. Tara doesn't understand why Sydney hasn't told Stiles, either. She surprised Vivian hasn't. Vivian tells Stiles about almost everything. But Tara trusts Vivian with her life and is just going to go along with the lie.

"Have you told Stiles that you won't make Star Wars night again?"

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

Even though she won't be on the date, she was still asked to hang out before hand. So Sydney was sitting with Lydia on Allison's bed while they waited for her to choose an outfit. She grabbed a brown spotted black dress holding it up to Lydia and Sydney.

"Mmm. Pass." Lydia said after a moment with Sydney nodding along. Sydney wasn't as good at fashion as Lydia so she let her take the lead.

Allison shuffled through for another minute pulling out a multi color blouse holding it up.

"Pass." Lydia said immediately. She then stood up and walked over to the closet with Allison. "Let me see."

Lydia looked through the clothes getting more and more disgusted. "Pass, pass, pass. Ugh pass all of it."

"It can't be that bad." Sydney said walking over and looking through the options. "It's not that bad."

"I wouldn't trust your fashion sense, no offense." Lydia joked looking Sydney up and down. "And Allison, respect for your taste is, uh, dwindling by the second."

Lydia then pulled another piece of clothing looking it over and then looking back. She then walked a little bit farther before smiling and nodding slightly. "This."

Allison takes the shirt and looking at herself in the mirror when her dad walks in. Sydney tensed next to Lydia, before trying to calm herself back down. Sydney put on a polite smile trying to act as normal as possible.

"Dad, hello?" Allison asked confused.

"Right. I'm sorry. I completely forgot to knock." Chris realized.

"Hi, Mr. Argent." Lydia said falling back on Allison's bed in a casual way.

"Hello." Sydney said with a now awkward smile, turning to look at Lydia instead.

"Dad, do you need something?" Allison asked.

"I wanted to tell you that you'll be staying here tonight." Chris said putting on his jacket.

"What? I'm going out with my friends tonight." Allison complained while Lydia deflated and Sydney tensed again.

"Not when some animal is out there attack people." Chris said making Sydney start sputtering.

"We don't know it's an animal. Plus what if it was driven out. I mean I sure would leave if I saw cops. That is if I was a wolf. I'm not. I'll stop." Sydney pressed her lips together looking back at Lydia who mouthed.

'What is wrong with you?'

Sydney just shrugged. She'd never been this nervous before, at least Allison was trying to convince her dad.

"It's out of my hands. There's a curfew. No one's allowed out past 9:30 pm." Chris said.

"That thing. Don't worry, I'm the Sheriffs daughter and I never follow those." Sydney said before being pulled down by Lydia.

"Ignore her. Lack of sleep." Lydia excused giving Sydney a look.

"Anyway, no more arguing." Chris said walking out. Sydney sighed and got up brushing herself off.

"Look who's daddy's little girl." Lydia teased looking as Chris walked away, while Sydney scoffed.

"Lydia." Sydney reprimanded

"Sometimes." Allison said with a determined look. "But not tonight."

Allison then walked over to her dresser and put on a beanie before walking to her window. Lydia looking between her and the door the entire time in shock. Sydney sighed and decided to go with it. She wasn't being cautious tonight.

Allison opened her window and climbed onto the roof still looking around cautiously. Lydia and Sydney looked out the window following her in the dark. Lydia looked slightly scared while Sydney was smirking.

"What are you doing?" Lydia demanded. Allison instead of answering the question did a backflip off the roof.

"Eight years of gymnastics." Allison said smiling up at the two. Sydney smiled and then climbed out too. She walked to the edge and jumped like Allison except she grabbed the edge of the roof before she hit the ground and dropped down lighter than Allison. Making her quieter and more graceful. She smirked at Allison.

"16 years of sneaking out." She said looking up at Lydia and winking who scoffed. "You coming?"

"I'll take the stairs."

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

"Where is your lovely sister this evening?" Vivian asked as Lydia and her tied their shoes.

"Not that it's your business, but she had a date with Boyd." Lydia said starting to get more aggressive. "You should tell Stiles they're getting more serious."

Vivian sighed as she finished tying her shoe and got up walking to grab a random bowling ball when Sydney came up next to her. "She's not giving you a hard time, right?"

"Just the usual amount." Vivian said studying the ball in her hand and not the heat from Sydney. "She did basically just tell me to make Stiles grow some balls and ask Mikayla out."

Sydney let out a sudden laugh. "Mikayla and Stiles? No."

"Yes. Can't you see how much they like each other." Vivian said looking over at Sydney. Sydney just had a fond smile.

"You are so oblivious." Sydney said quietly grabbing her ball and walking to where Tara is setting up.

Vivian just watched her walk away in shock. She turned to look at Scott and Allison who were in their own little world. She sighed and walked over to the other two. Tara looked very excited so she obviously hadn't seen Scott and Allison yet.

"Ready to lose." Vivian asked with a cocky smile.

"It's nice to hear your dreams but we really should get to playing Vivian." Sydney fired back getting a snicker from Tara. Vivian rolls her eyes with a smile. She looks over to the double date and takes a deep breath. A little regret seeps in, Vivian doesn't even remember why she agreed. It seems awkward.

"V? You gonna go or what?" Sydney asked with a small confused smile. Vivian nodded and walked to the aisle.

They each were able to go one round before the other group even started. Vivian was in the lead and was about to go again when she heard the giggle from the next aisle. She looked over and saw Lydia holding her bowling ball with Jacksons arms wrapped around her. He was 'helping' her play by getting a gutter ball and then only knocking down 3. Lydia huffed but didn't seem that mad about her loss. "I'm so bad at this."

Sydney scoffed from the side and Vivian took that as a sign to actually take her turn. Allison and her went at the same time, both getting strikes. Vivian had to fight the urge to smirk at Lydia but just focused on Tara and Sydney.

"Someone brought their 'A' game!" Vivian heard Lydia said.

Jackson and Sydney went next. Jackson getting a strike and Sydney getting a pair. Tara and Scott went at the same time. Tara got a strike and then looked at Scott who did absolutely horrible and got a gutter ball. She glared over at Jackson when he laugh while Lydia held back one.

"Mind shutting up?" Allison said which didn't stop Jackson whatsoever.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm just flashing back to the words 'I'm a great bowler.'" Jackson said between laughs.

"He just needs to warm up." Tara said getting the sudden attention of the group.

"Yeah maybe he needs the kiddy bumpers." Jackson joked back with a tone. Tara sighed and sat back down. Almost everyone except Lydia were glaring at Jackson.

"Just-just aim for the middle." Allison advised holding her arms out.

"How about you aim for anything except for the gutter." Jackson said still laughing.

"Funnily enough, I was going to say the same thing to your girlfriend." Vivian commented, already giving up on being nice, with a sarcastic smile getting an elbow from Sydney.

"Let him concentrate." Allison said.

Sydney decided to wait until Scott was done to go. Since she wanted to see how this whole act would finish. She could hear Scott praying to get at least one pin before he went again. The ball stayed in the middle for almost the entire time, until near the end when it went back to the gutter.

After Jackson started laughing Sydney sighed and looked over at the two with her. After her turn she sat down and slid closer to them with an apologetic smile.

"This isn't as fun as you promised?" Vivian teased in a whisper, leaning in front of the two.

"Nothing with Jackson really is." Sydney whispered back getting a giggle from Tara.

"What do you say we do?" Tara asked with a mischievous look in her eyes.

"I say we wait until Scott lays in the aisle." Vivian jokes before getting up to take her turn.

They went through another round until it was Scott's turn again. This time Sydney went as Scott did. Right before either of them went Allison went over to Scott and whispered into Scotts ear thinking no one could hear. She was wrong.

"Scott. You're thinking too much." She said right next to him.

"I know, I'm sorry. I'm ruining this." Scott said looking down at his feet. Sydney sighed while getting up. Jackson was the one ruining this.

"No, no, not at all, but I wouldn't mind shutting them up, so just clear your head." Allison suggested "And think about something else."

"Like what?" Scott said with Sydney trying to ignore them and take her turn. Right when she was about to throw the ball she heard Allison's reply.

"Anything. Think about me." Allison leaned closer to his ear. "Naked."

Sydney stumbled getting a gutter ball and a cocky reply from Vivian which she couldn't focus on. Scott went before she could get that comment out of her head. He got a strike. Sydney went as fast as possible getting another gutter ball.

"I thought you were good at this. Finally give up and realize that I'm going to win." Vivian said with a smirk. Sydney gave her a quick smile.

"Yup, you win." Sydney said finishing the game. Then walking to Vivian and Tara and pulling them up.

"Woah, woah. What's going on?" Tara asked as she was pulled away.

"This is about to turn into a competitive shit show that I don't want to sit through." Sydney bluffed as they sat and took of their shoes. She couldn't sit there any longer after hearing intimate details about Scott and Allison's relationship.

"I also don't want to hear any more encouragements."

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

A down side to their quick rush was they all didn't come in a car. Stiles dropped Vivian and Tara off, and Sydney went with Lydia and Allison. So they didn't have a car and were stranded.

"I could call Stiles." Tara suggested standing in the front of the building with Vivian and Sydney.

"Or we could go back in and watch a shit show." Vivian suggested.

"No and no." Sydney said sighing. "We could walk."

"I guess." Tara says shrugging.

"Sounds fun." Vivian said with a small smile linking her arms with Sydney and Tara as they walked.

Vivian didn't know what got into her. She was just having fun. She didn't want to think about werewolves and worry. Sadly her wishes never came true. They had walked a quarter to Vivian's house, which ever since they were in 3rd grade had been a designated hang out spot, when they spotted a gas station in the middle of no where. Tara insisted they stop and buy some junk food since her parents gave her 50 dollars to stay out of the house for the whole night.

They all agreed since they were already planning on watching a movie. When they reached the first row of gas pumps, they all saw a familiar black car pull up. They all backed up and hid behind the gas pumps when they saw the familiar man get out of the car. Before Derek could even get the pump in the car 2 other cars pulled in, one in front of Derek's and one behind. That worried the three even more and they decided to stay hidden until it was over.

Chris and three other guys got out of the cars, two from each, and stood waiting for Derek to finish. Derek gave them one side eye but just filled his car with gas.

"Nice ride." Chris said after Derek had put the pump back. "Black cars, though. Very hard to keep clean."

Chris kept stalking forward with a smile. His tone was light but there was an underlying threat to it. He then wiped his thumb against a small spot while continuing to talk.

"I would definitely suggest a little more maintenance." Chris said as he grabbed a squeegee. "If you have something this nice, you want to take care of it, right?"

Chris started cleaning Derek's front window. Sydney, Tara, and Vivian peaked over, luckily not getting noticed by any of them. Tara tilted her head at the other two and just got shrugs in response.

"Personally, I'm very protective of the things I love." Chris said making everything click for the three. "But that's something I learned from my family."

"And you don't have much of that these days. Do you?" Chris said finishing up the window.

Derek clenched his hands trying to calm down, Chris looked down at his hands, which made Derek relax his hand again. Sydney had to hold back a growl and grabbed Tara from leaving their hiding spot.

"There we go." He said putting the squeegee back with that same tone he's had the entire time. "You can actually look through your windshield now. See how that makes everything so much clearer?"

As Chris walked away seemingly done with 'talking' to Derek. Before he could make it to his car Derek spoke up for the first time. "You forgot to check the oil."

"Check the mans oil." Chris said to one of the men. He smiled grabbing a crowbar from his car and going to the drivers side window. He then smashed the window making Tara flinch back into Vivian. "Looks good to me."

"Drive safely." Chris said as all four men walked back into their cars, leaving Derek alone standing next to his car.

The cars were back on the road and Derek, Tara, Sydney, and Vivian stood there for a minute, until Tara walked out from their hiding spot. She looked at Derek with teary eyes, as the other two followed her out.

"What are you doing here?" Derek asked with an annoyance laced voice. They didn't answer, Tara just ran over to him an tackled him in a hug. He stood there with a straight face a bit of confusion flashed over his face.

Vivian winced slightly to herself getting a worried look from Sydney. "It's just a headache. I've had it for a couple days now."

By the time they focused back on Tara and Derek, they weren't hugging anymore. Well Tara wasn't hugging Derek anymore. "You didn't answer my question."

"We were walking home and wanted food." Tara explained. "We didn't mean to eavesdrop, sorry."

"Speaking of that." Vivian said with a sigh. "Might have to cancel the rest of this, sorry."

"What? Why?" Tara asked with a frown.

"I um, I have a headache and my moms at the hospital so I think I'm gonna hang out there. Sorry." Vivian explained before starting to walk away again, she was caught by her elbow.

"We'll walk there with you at least." Sydney said with no room for an argument. "Nice chatting with you Derek."

Tara gave a small wave before they all started walking away. Derek let them walk a foot before sighing. "Do you want a ride?"

Tara's smile could be seen from space. She turned around and before she could hug him Derek went to his car to clean the glass off. Sydney gave Vivian a cautious look, and Vivian just gave her a small smile and shrug before following Tara and Derek to the car.

Sydney lagged back for a second still not completely sure that Derek could be trusted.

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

Vivian took a deep breath and she sat in the hallway right by Peter Hales room. Tara wanted to stay with her but Vivian insisted she stay with Sydney at the Stilinski's and have fun. Vivian was bouncing her leg and looking at the floor.

The headache had gotten a little worse but Vivian wasn't too worried. She was also tired and the magic of 'no werewolf night' had been ruined so she just wanted to sit down. She was already planning on calling Stiles later to pick her up.

She was specifically sitting outside of Peter Hales room because of what she heard tonight. She sighed to herself and started playing with her fingers. "Are you a werewolf?"

Vivian know she seemed crazy talking to herself but it had been a question in her mind since she found out about Derek. She was never expecting an answer but it was nice to finally voice it. She closed her eyes and winced to herself again. "This headache is getting worse."

She decided to get ready to leave, and stood up walking over to the front desk to say goodbye to her mom. When she got there she saw the end of her mother running over to a different room. A room that was too familiar.

"No." Vivian said looking around panicked. "No, no."

She seemed to stand there forever until her mom walked back over. "Sweetheart?"

Vivian looked up at her hesitantly.

"Is he dead?"

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

Vivian's headache was gone, but Stiles decided that she needed something else to be in pain. After telling the two Stilinski's and the Varrington that the bus driver was dead, they all knew they had to tell Scott. Instead of calling or waiting until school, they were going to his house. Instead of knocking they were crawling up his roof. Well Stiles was.

"He's really stupid isn't he?" Vivian said with her arms crossed.

"Be nice." Tara said looking at her.

"He has a key!" Vivian whisper-yelled. "He has a key."

"He has a key?" Tara said confused.

"He has one to all our houses, you shouldn't be surprised." Vivian said not noticing that Sydney was now also on the roof.

"Now it's my turn." Tara said with a playful smile before climbing onto the roof as well.

"I need to make more friends." Vivian mumbled to herself, now also climbing onto the roof.

They all made it to the unlocked and open window, Stiles stumbling in first with the other following. They were unaware that they'd been heard because as they were all struggling to sit up on his bed, Mellissa walked into the dark room grabbing the bat by the door. She raised it about to hit Stiles when they all started screaming. Stiles and Vivian grabbing onto each other, Tara blocking her face, and Sydney backing up against the now closed window.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Melissa asked aggressively, then looking over at Vivian. "Does your mother know where you are?"

"What am I doing?! Do either of you even play baseball." Stiles said back aggressively moving his arms while Vivian ignored the question.

"I think that's my old softball bat?" Tara said to herself as Scott walked into his room turning the light on.

"Can you please tell your friends to use the front door?" Melissa said to Scott.

"I suggested that first." Vivian commented getting a glare from Stiles.

"We lock the front door, they won't be able to get in." Scott said back.

"Yeah, exactly." Melissa said motioning to them with the bat in her hand. "And, by the way, do any of you care that there's a police enforced curfew?"

"No." They all said at the same time getting a disappointed sigh and look from Melissa before she set the bat down and walked out of the room muttering to herself.

"Enough parenting for me, for one night."

Vivian snickered to herself while Scott grabbed his desk chair picking it up so it was in front of the bed where everyone else was seated looking at him.

"What?" Scott asked when he noticed the expressions on their faces.

"My dad left for the hospital 15 minutes ago-" Stiles said.

"-And my mom was there." Vivian added.

"It's the bus driver." Sydney said seeming to continue their weird popcorn talking.

"They said he succumbed to his wounds." Tara finished.

"Succumbed?" Scott asked

"Scott, he's dead."

⭒☆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━☆⭒

"Derek!" Scott yelled with Sydney by his side. He wanted to confront Derek and it seemed that they had become a package deal when Derek fucked up. Also Derek drove her and her friends home so she was pissed that she allowed that to happen. Tara was too forgiving and Vivian always seemed to go with what Tara said. Or Stiles.

"We know you're here!" Sydney said after no sign of Derek. "We know what you did!"

"I didn't do anything." Derek's voice echoed through the house even though they didn't see him.

"You killed him!" Scott yelled starting to go up the stairs looking for him while Sydney looked behind the stairs.

"He died." Derek said again, not in sight.

"Like your sister died." Scott said on the stairs.

"Low blow Scott." Sydney whispered to herself, not caring that either of them could hear her.

"My sister was missing." Derek said. "I came here looking for her."

"You found her." Sydney said loudly from the bottom of the stairs walking around them slowly.

"I found her in pieces, being used to as bait to catch me." Derek said a slight growl in his voice. Sydney had to keep a growl in at the though of Stiles like that.

"I think you killed them all." Scott said confidently while Sydney just stood still conflicted like she seemed to always be. "We're gonna tell everyone, starting with the Sheriff."

Scott made it to the top of the and was then pushed down them, which got Sydney's attention. She ran over to Scott who was on the ground. Derek was standing on the top of the stairs leering while Sydney crouched down next to Scott. Scott looked up almost fully transformed while Sydney was completely calm, well not calm but not crazy, and was now backed up to the door.

Derek jumped down from the stairs no sigh of changing in sighed. Scott got up quickly when he saw Derek up and threw him threw the wall.

"Scott!" Sydney yelled getting up and looking through the hole to where Derek was getting up and spitting out the old burnt wood.

"That was cute." Derek said taking off his jacket as if being thrown through the wall didn't effect him whatsoever.

Sydney then watched him fully transform, it honestly impressed her. He had so much control, and Sydney barley had any. Scott then ran threw the wall and they continued their fight with Sydney watching in the background.

They each stalked around in a circle, waiting for the other to initiate. Scott was the first to pounce, Derek used that to his advantage, and Derek used his momentum to slam Scott again the wall three times then throwing him across a foosball table. Scott stayed crouched on the ground when Derek pounced, luckily this time Scott was expecting it and dodged his attack.

They then each took turns throwing punched until Scott was throw onto the ground. Sydney was still looking at them through the wall. She didn't know what to do, so she just stayed where she was watching as Scott got his ass beat.

Scott stumbled back to the foosball table and used it to pull himself up. Derek then ran on all fours to the foosball table and jumped onto it and kicked his feet out sending Scott flying again. Sydney then had a panicked feeling and ran to Scott. Before she got to them Scott and Derek started going at it again with Scott grabbing an oar and waking Derek with it. He then tried to hit Derek with it while he was laying down, but he dodged that and then held his arm out to trip Scott. Scott flipped so he fell on his stomach with Derek standing in front of him.

Sydney ran up so she was in front of Derek, try to holding him back from Scott, still completely human. Derek growled and pushed Sydney into a wall and grabbed Scott by his throat and lifted him from the ground and slammed him back down twice. Sydney couldn't focus on the rest of the fight and she was breathing heavily and tears were coming to her eyes.

When she was able to calm herself down enough she saw that Derek was standing and Scott was looking at him over his shoulder, both back to normal.

"I didn't kill him, or her." Derek said giving Sydney a pointed look at the end of the sentence. "Neither of us did."

"It's not my fault?" Sydney said slightly relived.

"It's not your fault, and it's not mine." Derek said with anger in his voice.

"This? Is all your fault." Scott yelled back getting into Scott's face.

"You ruined our lived." Sydney said from the wall, now she was standing with the rest.

"No, I didn't." Derek said with conviction. Sydney was now walking towards him.

"You're the one who bit us." Sydney said now closer than before.

"No, I'm not." Derek said looking at Sydney with his signature glare.

"What?" Scott asked bringing the attention back to himself.

"I'm not the one who bit you." Derek repeated.

Sydney grabbed her shoulder where she was bitten. It was healed but it's like she could still feel it burning through her clothes. She then had more memories, more clear ones of a dark furry figure standing over the poor librarian. It had red eyes.

"There's another." Scott said now sitting down, seeming to have had his own flashback.

"It's an Alpha. The most dangerous of our kind." Derek explained. "We are betas. This thing is more powerful, more animal than any of us. My sister came here looking for him, and now I'm trying to find him. But I don't think I can do it without you two."

"Why us?" Sydney asked surprised she could still stand.

"Because he's the one who bit you. You're part of his pack. It's you, Sydney and Scott." Derek said with a piercing stare. "You're the one that he wants."

Sydney didn't stay for the rest. She sprinted out of the house back into the woods, trying to get back to her own house.

She didn't noticed the red eyes watching her.
