❄K-POP❄

Aziel felt himself growing anxious as the days near Christmas.

Chatter of kids swallowed him whole. After his OChem class, he rushed through the door just like every other kid.

Today instead of getting a gift he had received a note. The note was short but still full of mystery.

'Maybe you need some variation in life.

Seems like Jason needs it too. :)′

Jason was confused as he was. They looked for a present in both of their lockers but their search wasn't fruitful.

His converse tapped along the tiled floor of the hallway, as he waited for Jason to arrive. With his head bent down, he silently waited and avoided any conversation at the same time.

Instead of Jason's normal sport shoes, white heels came into his view. His gaze met with the redhead, who was missing since last few days.

Her normally perfect face was marked with black running mascara. Her brown eyes were rimmed red and nose was swollen and irritated red.

He should have felt any kind of worry but in reality, he felt none. He didn't know if he should have been embarrassed by his lack of general concern or not.

"Aziel," she whispered in a croaked voice. Licking her lips, she hesitated a bit but then continued. "I am sorry. I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I understand you wouldn't want me to be your friend or anything but please for the sake of my sanity. Please, please forgive me."

Her begging him was something that surprised him. He had assumed that she would divulge in her emotional blackmail and try and make him feel guilty.

But with sudden abruptness in her behavior, he was shocked. He stared at her intensely and then sighed. He simply nodded his head in reply and tilted his head.

Understanding that this was the only form of response she was going to receive, she left him alone.

"Aziel!" he heard Jason scream his name. With his hand waving an envelope around in his hand.

"I got-huff-this gift-huff-huff-someone gave it to me-huff-" Jason huffed out. Before he could complete his sentence, Aziel had already snatched the envelope from him.

Pouring from the envelope was some pink paper hearts and some pages.

There were tickets to some concert of some K-Pop band. He had seen their faces before but was never interested in their music. He wasn't one to enjoy music he didn't understand.

He handed the two tickets to Jason who stared at the location and other details printed on it, while he opened the letter slipped in with it.

'I know you can't understand Korean and don't listen to K-pop but how many times do I have to tell you to not judge a book by cover? or band in this case...

Go and enjoy this treat from me, along with the doof I know must be leaning over the shoulder and reading this letter, next month.

p.s. Hi Jason! :)′

"Hey!" Jason said indignantly. "that was mean!"

And all Aziel did was laugh.
