This section is for the PoetsPub poetry contest submissions. They have a poetry contest and this section would be updated for each entry I make.

January Week 1-2: All about adventure where we had to write a poem (any format) in not more than 30 lines, describing the "adventurer" (the background, personality and destiny had to be selected from the options given). I was not sure how much adherence my poem has except that it is written out in exactly 30 lines (7 quartains and one couplet).

January Week 3-4: Adventure continues, both poetic and by topic. We had to write a haiku chain, at least four stanzas long, describing the adventure and conclusion. From my limited understanding, haiku chains have an unique feature, the last line of one paragraph is the first line of the following on and the last line of final paragraph is the same as the first line of the starting haiku. I was not sure if I could do it for this particular challenge so I tweaked it. My Haiku has a rhyming scheme: aba, cac, dcd, with the last haiku having bmb, thus 'closing' the rhyme chain. (14 stanzas in total)
