Fifteen
"I cannot believe this." I said and slapped down my paper, which currently held my grades. "My mom would kill me if she knew I got a C in Econ."
"A C? What are your normal grades?" Isaac asked as he bit into a French Fry. I looked over at him, eyes wide.
"I've never gotten a B-, let alone a C. Hell, all I get are A's. How did I get a C?" I questioned myself, staring at the bold letter as Isaac hummed.
"Maybe it's because of the fact you're a werewolf. Or you were so focused on saving your brother. Your mind has been in the clouds since you got bit." He assumed as I bit my tongue.
"I can't have a C." I said and stood up, Isaac grabbing his fries and quickly following after me out of the cafeteria.
"Well what are you going to do about it?" The blonde asked as I stormed around the high school.
"The hell do you think I'll do, Isaac? I'll put on a talent show!" I said sarcastically as he frowned at me.
"I don't like your sarcasm very much." He deadpanned as I rolled my eyes.
"I need to get extra credit, do more in gym, anything! This is the worst grade of my life." I crumbled and tossed the paper away and stopped, Isaac doing the same. "I don't even know what I'm doing."

I bounced my leg up and down as I stared at the three sheets of extra credit, hand running through my hair.
I grunted and slammed my fist on the desk, hearing its wood crack. I moved the paper over to see a large split where I had hit, sighing quietly.
"Dammit." I mumbled, standing up and walking out of my room to the kitchen. I looked on the table to see Jeremy's dinosaur stuffed animal laying down, waiting for someone to get it.
I stared at it's matted fabric for a while, maybe hoping something would happen just so I could get out of the house. Instead, I just grabbed the stuffed animal and walked back upstairs, towards Jeremy's room.
I knocked on the door gently, opening it and seeing my little brother sleeping in his bed. Sighing quietly, I tip toed over to his bed and set Dingo next to him, quickly walking back out so I didn't wake him up.
A bright flash startled me, followed by an even bigger boom as it started to thunder. "Perfect." I frowned, slapping my hands to my thighs.
I walked back to my bedroom, shutting the door quietly and sighed, resting my head against the wood. Another crackle of thunder after a flash of light, slowly followed by hard rain. It quickly grew worse as I watched it start coming down my window that a water fall.
I cupped my face in my hand as I sat down close to the window, looking out to stare at the forest. I saw a pair of red eyes, causing me to quickly stand up and peer closer.
It was Derek... obviously.
I groaned, quickly walking out of my room and down to the front door. I hesitated for a moment as my hand gripped the handle, slowly opening the door.
Rain started pouring into my house and I walked out, now getting myself wet. Derek was at the bottom of the stairs, hands in his pockets as the rest of him was now soaked with water.
"What do you want?" I yelled over the pouring rain. "If you didn't realize, I kind of left your pack."
"Yes, I'm aware." He called out as I slowly started walking down the steps. "But you see... I need you back in the pack." I scoffed loudly, hoping Derek would hear.
"You must be insane if you think I'll willingly join you again." I said, Derek rolling his head back.
"Look, you'll understand soon. Just trust me now." He huffed as I shook my head.
"What will I get out of this?" I asked, crossing my arms.
Derek's eyes flickered between mine and he clenched his jaw, huffing through his nose. "You're weaker without a pack, so you need me. And I need you." Derek said as I frowned.
"You didn't answer my question." I spoke loudly, knowing that Derek could hear me more so he could not ignore me.
"Fine! You can do whatever the hell you want, but you come to me when I need you, and you listen to me." He scorned as I shrugged.
"Fine. But you also have to make sure Jeremy stays out of all of this. Or I swear to God... I'll kill you."
Sorry for the short chapter... Ranboo went live 💀
