Several members of Night Raid where standing on one side of a door and almost all the members of Silent Hand where standing on the other side of a door.

An orange haired female then walked out of the room. "How's he doing?" Jason asked looking at Chelsea.

"He's alive at least. Halfway through he started to cough up blood and his condition suddenly worsened I'm not sure he'd still be alive if you and Leone hadn't brought him to me when you did." Chelsea said looking at them.

"So can we see him?" Senna asked looking at the female in front of her.

"Yeah just don't be surprised if he doesn't respond right away," Chelsea said looking at them. They all nodded and walked into the room. When they did they all saw that Zero had several bandages on him.

He opened his eyes and looked at everyone. "Hey guys," Zero said looking around. "Where the hell are we?" Zero asked looking at them.

"Well we were running through the city and your recoil hit you pretty hard. That being said Zenlu's missing. We haven't been able to find him since last night when our assassination attempt failed." Shade said looking at Zero.

When they said this Zero paled and looked at them. "Zenlu sacrificed himself to buy me enough time to get away. The last place I saw him was in front of the palace," Zero said looking at them.

"Well then I guess we can just assume that he's dead," Silver said looking at the blonde male in front of him.

"We don't know that for sure, we'll meet up with him tonight just like we planned to. If he's alive then he'll meet up with us if he's not then he won't it's simple," Shade said looking at them.

"That's actually not true there's always the chance that he got captured and that he's in the dungeon right now," Senna said looking at them.

"That's true I guess we'll just have to wait and see," Silver said looking at them.

"Tonight? How long was I out?" Zero asked looking at the people in front of him.

"You were out of commission for almost three days," Senna said looking at

"Three days? Wow that's . . . that's a long time," Zero said looking at the members in front of him.

"Not as long as last time you used your Trump card in twice in one day remember you were out for nearly a month," Scerea said looking at the blonde male.

"Yeah well what time is it? We wouldn't want to keep Zenlu waiting just in case he is alive." Zero said as he got up off the bed.

"It's around seven so we almost an hour left before we need to leave," Silver said looking at the blonde male in front of him.

"Still I think we should leave now. I don't like the fact that we're outnumbered and don't really know what their capable of it makes me paranoid." Zero said getting up.

"Well you shouldn't be paranoid although I understand why you're worried," the seven heard a new voice say. They then turned to see a female with white hair and a robotic arm looking at her.

"Kind of hard to trust all of you when we don't know anything about you." Jason said looking at her.

"If you didn't trust us then why'd you let Chelsea operate on your friend? It's clear that even if you don't want to admit it that you do have some level of trust for us. If you didn't then you were a fool to have let us operate on Zero," she said looking them.

"Okay got us there. So what is it you want?" Ryuu asked looking at the female in front of him.

"To put it simply I want you to join night raid." She said looking at them.

"What no please," Silver said looking at her.

"I don't think it's needed it's a simple choice you either join us or you don't. Either way you've already met the members of Night Raid so mind telling us what your group is called?" The female asked with a smile.

"We call ourself silent hand," Jason said looking at her.

"So we need a decision," the white haired female said looking at them.

"We'll think about it," Senna said looking at them.

"Alright well let's put it this way. If you come back here before the nights over it's a yes if not it's a no," the female said walking out of the room.

Zero then sighed and looked at them. "You all ready to go we'll bring this up with Zenlu when we get there and see what he thinks." He said looking at them.

"Yeah let's go," Silver said as him and his teammates walked out of the room. As they walked into the middle of the woods they came to a rather large cleared out area and all of them came to a stop.

"Now we wait for Zenlu to show up," Senna said taking a seat on a rock.

"Yeah she's got the right idea," Ryuu said taking a seat beside her. The other members of Silent Hand started to talk while Ryuu and Senna looked up at the sky.

"Nice night out tonight huh?" Ryui said looking up at the stars.

"Yeah the stars always look good on nights like this," Senna said looking up at the sky.

"H-hey Senna," Ryuu began becoming a little embarrassed.

"Yeah what is it?" Senna asked looking at him.

"What would you say that after this is all over me and you go out somewhere? You know like just the two of us," Ryuu said looking at her.

"Yeah sounds nice," Senna said placing her hand on top of his. The two then continued to look at the stars or at least they would have if they didn't hear a rustling sound behind them.

Everyone looked towards the sound and out came a familiar figure. "ZENLU YOU'RE ALIVE!" Jason said walking up to him.

"Yeah," the male said a bit more distant than usual.

"What's wrong?" Silver asked picking up on this almost instantly.

"Well you see the thing is I was offered a deal and I sort of took it," Zenlu said looking at them.

"What sort of deal?" Jason asked looking at them.

"I joined the royal guards," Zenlu said making everyone gain a surprised look.

"Why would you do that?" Shade asked looking at the male.

"Well first off I got somethings I need to explain to all of you. They offered me this job with an expansion of it coming over to you guys. So you can join the royal guard as well. We can do what we've always done and we'll earn a proper wage." Zenlu said looking at them.

"If we complete this job we won't have to earn a proper wage for the rest of our lives we'll be set and living like kings and queens until we die," Shade said looking at him.

"That's the other thing remember how if the client died before we could complete the mission that all the money he owed us would go into our bank accounts. Well he died yesterday so we have all that money and then the potential to make more." Zenlu said looking at them.

"So . . . It doesn't matter whether we finish the mission or not now?" Ryuu asked looking at the male in front of him.

"My point exactly I think that we could do this they've already said that we would be a squad that has all the same right as the Jagers. We'd get so many privileges that we wouldn't get as regular assassins. So what do you say guys? Want to join me?" Zenlu asked with the smile that so many had come to expect from him over the years.

Shade walked over to him causing his sister to gain a surprised look on her face. "Shade what are you doing?" Senna asked looking at him.

"Senna we've already got the money. It'd be suicidal to try and finish the mission now," Shade said looking at the blue haired female in front of him. Ryuu then walked over to Zenlu and he smiled.

"You too Ryuu?" Senna asked looking at him.

"Senna think about it. We could get this over with a lot faster and the two of us could go out just like we planned." Ryuu said looking at her causing her to freeze. When she did Silver then walked over to them.

"What's your excuse?" Senna asked looking at the white haired male.

"I'm going with the side that's most likely to win. Judging by the forces that the palace has compared what we have its obvious that the palace has the upper hand." Silver said looking at her.

"Well hell might as well join the party," Scerea said as she walked over to the rest of them.

"Nice to have on our side Scerea," Shade said looking at her.

"It's always nice to be with friends," Scerea said looking at looking at the three that were in front of her. Senna then sighed and walked over to the crowd.

"It's good to have you one our side sister," Shade said giving her a smile. Zenlu then looked at the two that were left.

"So what do you say guys want to come home with us?" Zenlu asked looking at them.

"No," Jason said almost immediately with anger in his voice.

"What?" Zenlu asked a little surprised.

"NO! I DIDN'T WATCH MY BEST FRIEND ALMOST DIE JUST SO I COULD GO OVER TO THEM BEGGING THEM TO TAKE ME IN. I'M NOT GOING TO SIT DOWN AND ROLL OVER ON COMMAND I'M NOT A DOG AND THEY AREN'T GOING TO USE ME LIKE ONE! I'M NOT JOINING THEM AND THAT'S THAT!" Jason said looking at them. This caused several people to become surprised.

After all Jason was usually the quite one who went along with almost anything that anyone had to say. Zenlu thought that he'd actually be the first join him. Then he realized why he wasn't joining him yet. It's because Zero hadn't joined them yet.

"Then what about you Zero? Will you stand with us?" He asked looking at him.

"No, you know how I was raised I must have told you my story before and you know that I was taught to never leave a mission unfinished. If I did I'd just be disgracing myself and my family so no I won't join you," the blonde male said looking at them.

"I see well then I guess we'll meet on the battlefield then," Zenlu said as he turned around and started to walk away. When he did the five other figures looked at them and the blue haired female waved to them.

Zero and Jason then turned around and walked the opposite direction. "Where are we going?" Jason asked looking at Zero.

"Silent hand has died. So we'll do the most logical thing and join a new group a group named night raid," Zero said looking at Jason.

"So we're going back to them?" Jason asked looking at him.

"So you really want to fight them and the Jagers without some form of help?" Zero asked looking at Jason causing the male to shake his head in disagreement.

"Then we join night raid from what I saw they have at least five members. Assuming each one of them is capable of holding their own we can beat our old team then go after the Jagers." Zero said looking at them.

"Never thought things would end up like this," Jason said looking at Zero.

"Yeah but at least we got new friends to make up for the ones we lost," Zero said as they walked into the mansion that they had left moments ago. When they did they saw the female from before standing there with a smile on her face.

"Where are the others?" She asked slightly confused.

"They left and joined the Royal guard. It's just us joining," Jason said looking at her.

"I see well two out of eight isn't bad I suppose," she said looking at them. When she said this a male walked into the room and looked at them.

"Please follow me to your rooms," the make said looking at them.
