Four? Did their fourth dancer arrive, how come I didn't see him or her walk in?

Their formation broke revealing their fourth dancer, Jimin. 

My breath hitched as I took a step back, miss stepping and losing my balance for a few seconds before regaining it. Jungkook shot me a worried glance. He had spotted Jimin as well and tilted his head to the side, gesturing me to leave if I wanted. I quickly nodded my head 'no', I wanted to see this to the end even if it was just for fun. I certainly was and I am sick of hiding. Over a year of hiding and avoiding any sort of interaction with him or the mention of him, I missed him. 

Despite my attempts to move on they never worked, I had to face him eventually. But what Jungkook was most worried about was the end of the routine. I would end it at the other end of the floor in front of their last dancer, practically in their face, in a sort of way. I crossed my fingers whilst I was dancing, begging it not to be Jimin who ended their dance as well. But to my dismay and luck, it was. I ended the dance, standing right in front of him, with an intense gaze. I smirked, taking one step forward causing him to take a step backwards and out of the dance zone. I quickly broke the gaze once the music finished and walked off to Alex, Jungkook and Hoseok. "OH MY GOSH, WE DID IT, GOOD JOB (Y/N)!" Alex exclaimed, embracing me in a tight hug. I return it, feeling Jungkook and Hoseok join, creating a group hug.

"(Y/N)'S TEAM WINS!" Seulgi cheered with excitement. I hear Sehun and Kai groan in frustration as we brake the hug. I walk over, smiling cockily at our victory. 

"Now I get to say I told you so." I smirked.

"Fine, you did get better since the last time we danced together." Sehun reluctantly agreed.

"Hahaha, good game." I chuckled, fist bumping Sehun.

"I'm proud of you." Kai stated whilst walking up and giving me a side hug. I looked to the side, catching Jimin's gaze, I smiled softly and he turned the smile.

"Hahaha, thanks." I returned the hug before turning around to face my team. "Good job team!" 

"Hahaha you too, what are you guys up to now?" Jungkook complimented.

 "(Y/n), promised to show me around." Alex chirped whilst linking arms with me.

"Ah ha, you guys want to join?" We begin to walk off before Jungkook grabs my hoodie, stopping Alex and me from walking further.

"Ahhhhh I don't think it's a good idea, it's going to rain." Jungkook informed.

"HUH, really?" I frowned, taking out my phone to check the weather. He wasn't lying, it was going to. 

"Awwww, does that mean he can't go." Alex sighed whilst pouting.

"Sorry Alex, maybe another time?" He nodded in agreement.

"How about we all head back to my place." Kai offered. I watched as everyone nod before I agreed hesitantly. Does that mean with Jimin as well? It will be so awkward. "Okay let's go~." He was cut off by the beginnings of the light pitter-patter of rain hitting the car park roof.

"NEVER FEAR, I BROUGHT UMBRELLAS!" Hoseok voiced, pulling out four umbrellas. 

"Let's split up into pairs with one three." Seulgi offered. Seulgi smirked, sending everyone a cheeky glare before everyone quickly paired off, leaving Jimin and me to share the last umbrella. I sent Jungkook, Alex and Seulgi an agitated glare. Mouthing 'did you plan this?' Seulgi simple shrugged off my question, not bothering to reply to my question. 'You three are so dead later.' I mouthed. The three misfits walked off, trying to hold in their laughter. As I awkwardly turned around to face Jimin, I am such a cliche. The living meaning of cliche.  

"Shall we go?" I hear Jimin inquired softly before opening the umbrella.

"Sure, let's go." I agreed. The walk back to Kai's house was silent, not a word was exchanged between us and the atmosphere was awkward. The only sound which could be heard was the sound of the heavy raindrops hitting the umbrella. I think after the whole year apart, we lost our touch. I simply couldn't bring myself to say anything. Was I afraid of rejection?

"How's America treating you?" I hear Jimin inquired, breaking the silence.

"Good, the weather is nice up there." I replied simply. "Is Yoon Hee doing well?" I don't know if he might have been reluctant to reply but he did, I had nowhere for my eyes to focus one since when I usually spoke with someone I would look at them. So my gaze fell onto the slightly flooded floor, lightly kicking the water.

"I don't know." He spoke honestly, my foot froze for a second as I stopped kicking the water.

"Pardon?" I repeated, returning to kicking the water.  

"We broke up a little while after you left." His tone saddened slightly, I make an 'o' shape with my mouth, understanding the situation.

"Are you okay?" I reluctantly held my arm up, patting his back in a calming matter, like I used to. He didn't reject me, instead, a small smile made it's way to his lips. 

"Yeah, the break up was neutral." Neutral? What is that supposed to mean? 

"I see." The rain continued to pour heavier as our walk back to Kai's continued.  

"Hey stop kicking the water, it's getting all over me." Jimin chuckled, holding his hand up, blocking the small water droplets.

"Hahaha pardon, since when was Park Jimin afraid of a little water." I teased, turning around and purposely flicking the water in his direction. 

"YAH, stop!" He laughed, flicking the water back at me.

"AHH, nooo." I yelped, holding up my hand and blocking the water being flicked at me.

"Hahaha, payback." Jimin laughed deviously.

"NOOOoooOO it's cold!" I sprinted out from under the umbrella, trying to avoid the water.

"YAH, come back your going to get sick!" Jimin yelled, running after me. I refused, sprinting faster. Unfortunately for me, he caught up, back hugging me. Trapping me from running away.  Our laughter died down as the sound of rain engulfed the silent atmosphere again. I enjoyed the warmth he provided, I don't think running out from under the umbrella was such a good idea. Even if I was trying to get away from Jimin flicking water at me, more water soaked through my clothes due to the heavy rain, resulting in my clothes getting wet and my body feeling cold. That's probably why his embrace felt so warm, not to mention his heavy breathing, fanning my neck. Or maybe it was the fact that I missed him so greatly. After one year, I was finally in his embrace again. 

"Is Alex your boyfriend?" I hear him inquired suddenly, causing me to laugh and breaking my deep train of thought.

"What, what's wrong?" Jimin quickly responded, breaking the embrace as we continued to walk forward.

"Hahaha, no, I don't see him that way." I replied.

"Then we won't mind me doing this." I hear him say before he stopping me, grabbing onto my hand and pulling me to a halt. I turned my body to face him only to find his lips only centimetres away from mine. He softly caressed my left cheek before kissing me. My eyes widen in shock before I return the kiss, butterflied welling up inside of me. It was so soft yet passionate, I feel him smile once I return it, kissing me deeply. He broke the kiss after a while, smiling down at me. "I missed you so much." He whispered, embracing me in a tight hug. I return the embrace, smiling into his neck. "I love you." I hear him say. I broke the embrace and look at him with shock. "And I am so sorry it took me so long to realise."
