"I'd like to raise a toast" I raised a glass "to temari and my new brother shikamaru. May he always look after my sister or else"

"Here here!" We clicked glasses as temari and shikamaru held each other close. Yep shikamaru proposed to my sister and we're throwing an engagement party for the happy couple. I feel a little emotional about my sis getting married. I can't imagine what I'll be like when it's Gaara's turn!

"I'm just glad you and gaara took this so well. I couldn't have proposed to her without your blessing" he smiled.

A couple of people stood around kiba, gushing over his pregnant belly. Being five months in he's very obviously pregnant.

"Guy's I appreciate that everyone's excited about the pregnancy but this is shikamaru and temaris big day. We should focus on them" he smiled uncomfortably. I immediately went into protective husband mode.

"Move along people. He's pregnant not a zoo animal" I put a protective hand on my shoulder.

"Gah!" It was at that moment that kiba clutched his stomach.

"Kiba!" I bent down in front of him panickingly "talk to me baby what's wrong!"

"It's the baby" his eyes lit up excitedly "it's kicking"

"It is!" I touched his stomach and felt the baby's kicks beneath my fingertips "holy crap I've never been this in love with you then right at this moment"

"Just wait until the baby's born" he winked at me.

Everyone else gathered around him "I really didn't want to steal the spotlight like this" he looked away guiltily.

"Don't be silly. This is a magical moment" temari insisted. I squeezed his hand with a proud smile. I really am the luckiest guy in the world!
