"Alright it seems we got our candidates" I glared at the men in front of me. If any of these assholes become kazakage then they'll make Gaara's life a living hell. Damnit! "Now unless anyone else would like to-"

"I'd like to run for kazakage" we turned around to see Gaara's determined face. Shocked whispers ran through the crowd.

"Nonsense!" The mouthy conceal member slammed his fist down angrily "the gall you have to stand up here, running for kazakage like you're our equal!" angry murmurs filled the room but gaara didn't budge.

"Anyone can run for kazakage. If you don't think I'm worthy of being kazakage then there should be no issues. Unless you're threatened by me?" He smirked.

"Arrogant little bitch!" He growled before sighing in defeat "fine have it your way. I can't wait to wipe the floor with you" with that he walked away.

Kiba happily jumped into his arms. He gave the boy one of his rare genuine smiles before holding him close "it's all thanks to you kiba. Thank you for bringing out the real me" kiba nodded with a cute smile. It was like he was his personal cheerleader.

"So that little stray is the one that gave gaara his confidence back. He really is something" temari smiled proudly at the two boys hugging like they were family. I guess he is now.

"Yeah" my eyes sparkled with admiration for how far he'd come "I really found a one in a million"
