*Four years later*

"Hello kairi who's my pretty little girl" I held my newborn daughter above my head,  rubbing my nose against her stomach. She sqeuled in delight, making me smile. What a precious little darling I brought into the world.

She took mostly after kankero with her light brown, spiky hair and sharp eyes. Unlike yuki who had my hazal brown hair and wild eyes, clouded thanks to his blindness.

"Mama" speak of the devil Yuki walked over to me, feeling his way around the area towards me.

"Hey baby" I gently took her hand and led him to sit next to me "have you come to see your baby sister?" I ran my hand through his fluffy brown hair.

"Are you holding her mama?" He leaned over my shoulder.

"I am baby. Here" I took his hand and placed it on her cheek.

"She's so warm" he gasped as he stroked her cheek "I wish I could see her face. Is she cute mama?"

"She's adorable honey" I pinched his nose "just like you"

"Hmm" he reached down and placed her tiny palm which she instinctively wrapped her fingers around "I want to keep her and you safe mama just like daddy does. Do you think I could do that even though my eyes don't work?"

"Yuki you can do anything you put your mind to" I said firmly "I can already tell you're going to be an amazing big brother"

"Right. I'll definitely keep her safe" he said determinedly. I smiled as I kissed the top of his head. What did I do to deserve such a wonderful boy.
