Kankeros pov

"Come on you fucking thing stay up!" I cursed as I tried and failed to get the fairy lights to stay up.

"Kankero what are you doing?" I turned around to see the face of my confused husband.

"Crap, this was supposed to be a surprise" I muttered guiltily "I guess it can't be helped. I was making the babies room"

"Aw babe that's really sweet" he gushed as he looked around the tiny room "what's with all the pink and blue though?" He questioned.

"Well I wasn't sure if we're going to have a boy or a girl so I thought I'd go with both colours to be safe" I explained.

"Really? Cause it looks like we're about to have a trans baby" he giggled.

"Oh" I looked at him awkwardly.

"Oh don't look so nervous babe I think it's cute" he ran his finger down the baby new cot with a smile. His eyes landed on the peach teddy sitting on the cot.

"So cute" he hugged the little bear "I can just see our baby cuddling it under the covers now. I can't wait until they get here" he touched his stomach tenderly.

"Me too baby" I wrapped my arms around him "I can't wait to do all those dad things like holding them, feeding them bottles, heck even changing their nappy. I'll enjoy every moment of it"

"You're going to be a great dad" he wrapped his arms around my neck and kissed me. I kissed him back, savouring the sweet moment.
