Chapter 6: Unique Urbosa

*This chapter is for you, AshGreninja2003. I hope you enjoy it, friend.*

Zelda's POV

I wake up, with the sun shining in my face: there is a balcony in every room, with no door, so the sun shines right into the room in the morning. Urbosa was talking to her maidservant, still in her nightgown:
"Yes, and bring us some orange juice please. Thank you."
She dresses up in her armour, sees I'm awake and walks over to me:
"Goodmorning! How is my little Princess doing? Did I awake you? I'm sorry if I did! My servant is preparing breakfast, so we can eat whenever you wish to."
I rub my eyes another time and get up. I still have to dress up...
"Excuse me, but where can I dress up?"
She laughs:
"Here!"
I don't understand.
"But... but-"
She interrupts me:
"There are only women in this town. There's no need for embarassment."
"OK, but-"
She laughs again, a bit evil but meant kind:
"Alright, alright, I'll get you something to drink then!"
She walks away, and I can dress up privately. I go sitting on the balcony, and after a few minutes she comes back with some orange juices and food: tasty, fresh hydromelons and wildberries.
"Here. Taste those berries, they're my favourites!"
They were delicious indeed, and so were the melons. The morning made me forget all my anger of the day before.
"Do you see that big camel over there in the sand? That's Vah Naboris. She is named after an old leader of the Gerudo, Nabooru. She was second only to Ganondorf. It is told that Ganon was a Gerudo once... It also has the long legs of a dromedary!"
I laugh because of that:
"That's amazing!"
She stands up and grabs my hand:
"Come on, I want to let you see the Kara Kara Bazaar!"

When we arrived at the Bazaar, a Gerudo woman came to Urbosa:
"Ready for the training, ma'am?"
She turns back to me:
"Oh yes, I forgot to tell you, Zelda. We Gerudo train with each other every day, and I do it here. I'll come back in an hour, alright? Or are you going to come with me to look?"
I nod:
I'm not going to stay here on my own!
"I'll come with you."
We went to the training ground, where lots of Gerudo women, 'vai', as they call themselves, trained together. They all have strong muscles, and it was funny to watch them all train.
Urbosa is obviously the strongest.
She has her own bodyguard, but Urbosa is stronger than her!
I don't like fighting, and I surely wouldn't like such muscles! I like more... feminine shapes for women.
Not that there's something wrong with having muscles!
When Urbosa was finished training, she and I went to the oasis in the middle of the Bazaar. I dressed up in my swimming suit and we jumped in together! It was much fun!
The rest of the day, she let me see amazing views, she showed me all the typical Gerudo plants, flowers and food, and at the end of the day, she took me to the Beast, showed me the inside, brought me to a balcony, showed me the sunset, and I fell asleep.
Most importantly: I forgot all my problems with her by my side.

Link's POV

You waited 'till the evening, and then rode to the town.
You are stopped by the points of 2 spears:
"Halt! No passing here, you're a voe!" They say. You smile calmly to the one of the 2 women:
"But do you know which voe?"
She doesn't understand:
"What do you mean?"
"I am Link, chosen by the sword that seals the darkness, and Princess Zelda's appointed knight."
She laughs:
"Ooh yeah! I'm sorry! Here, come in! I'm Ganondorf!"
She says 'come in', but the spear stays where it was, so no coming in...
Is she taking the piss?
"Do I need to show the sword?"
The other one shakes her head:
"No, voe, we don't want you here. Go away."
You turn around, but as you are turning, the guards hear a loud female voice:
"Husufu, Ivaif, stop this nonsense! It's the famous Hylian!"
Brrr, the famous Hylian... that's not great, is it?
"His name is Link. He's the Princess's knight. She's in town, let him be with her."
"Yes, Teake."
The two release their spears from your throat and let you pass. You walk next to the captain, apparently the name is Teake, and ask:
"Well, thank you, ma'am. Where can I find lady Urbosa?"
She turns around and thinks:
"She went to... Naboris!"
"Naboris?"
"Vah Naboris, the Divine Beast!"
You give yourself a nice and loud face palm:
"Seriously?! Ah well, I'll get out of town then!"
The guards see you and are amazed. You laugh too:
"Yup! It seems I am not the famous Link. I am only Ganon."
They laugh, and you smirk. You catch a sand seal and ride to the Beast.

Urbosa and Zelda were sitting on a balcony, on the shoulder of the Beast.
Zelda was sleeping on Urbosa, in a pretty awkward position.
Urbosa hears you coming:
"Ah, well... you certainly got here fast.
I should have expected as much, from the Princess's own appointed knight. She was out on a survey all day today. Still as the sands now... so? Spill it, boy. Have the two of you been getting along all right?"
You sigh and stay quiet. Sometimes silence is clearer than words.
"It's OK... I know... your silence speaks volumes.
She gets frustrated every time she looks up and sees you carrying that sword on your back. It makes her feel like a failure when it comes to her own destiny."
Oh, so that's it!!!
She continues:
"Don't worry, it's not like you carry blame in any of this.
It's unfortunate. She's put in more than enough time. Ever since she was a young girl, she's gone through rigorous daily routines to show her dedication... she once past out in the freezing waters trying to access this sealing power. And she has nothing to show for it...
That's the motivation driving her research. I'd be doing the same thing.
She really is quite... special."
She brushes her hair once, and goes on:
"You be sure to protect her with your life. It's quite the honour.
The night brings a chill... it's probably time we take her in. Or..."
She smirks, and her green eyes sprinkle. She snaps her fingers, lightning appears and it makes a lot of noice. Zelda wakes up, really scared:
"Urbosa! What was that?! Did you feel that?"
She turns around and sees you:
"Wait, what-how did you- what are you doing here?!"
Urbosa laughs, an evil laugh, and next to her lies the ancient thunder helmet, passed down from generation to generation.
Well, this is awkward, isn't it?
"Well....-"
Urbosa gets up:
"Time to get you two to bed. It's been a long day."
You returned to the town. You wanted to talk to Zelda, but she turned around and walked to her room immediately.
Urbosa comes to you:
"Your room is ready, Link. You don't have to awake Zelda this morning, I'll do it this time. She seems a bit angry at you, so don't try to do too much with or for her, alright?"
You nod:
"Understood."
She shows you the big room:
"Here it is. Goodnight."
"Goodnight, Urbosa."
You lay in your bed, thinking:
Perhaps I'm taking my duty too seriously... I'll relax a bit from now on, and leave her alone a bit. Poor Zelda...

Well, that's been a long time, isn't it? Sorry for that! I don't want to write something I don't want to, so I won't be uploading much chapters in the coming weeks. But hey, at least I'll try to upload 2 other chapters this holiday! I'm still going to keep uploading My Shining Sun chapters though! I wrote this one in a car offline while I'm in America, that's why I was able to write it! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed, and see you in the next chapter!
