The Next day

   The day is actually bright,and it seem like a good day. Let see how it turns out.
" Hi?"
It the girl my brother took at the party. She looks like a mess . Maybe I could talk to her. .

"Did you sleep well?"
"Yes I did " she continued " I'm sorry yesterday ,I remember everything and thank you for helping me "

" It no biggie , can I ask why you were drunk"
She looked more sad then she was. Was it that deep ?
"I ..."
" If you don't want to say it I'm not forcing you. When you're ready, mum made lunch"

" Lunch? It afternoon already ?"
" Yeah you slept for a long period of time_

Dining room
" Hey new girl, please make your self at home ,you can leave when you please ,see us as family okay"
My mum said and she nodded.

"Mum where's brother?"
" He said something about clothes"

Just then he entered with a shopping bag .
" Hey sis ," he pecked me on the cheek and handed the bag to the girl .
" Thought you might need new clothes to change to ."

She was currently wearing mine but they are a bit too small for her. I know right.

" So what's your name ?" He asked her
" Grace "

I smiled it a cute name for her .

After some while. She came out all dressed and neat.  She looked beautiful and the simple dress fitted her perfectly. 

Did brother know her size. ?
" Guys I'll be leaving tomorrow ,I came for the weekend "
" You are married?" Grace asked
_" no I'm still in college. My third year "
" Wait are you Nicholas girlfriend?"

" Yap". For now I think.

" Wow " she smiled.

" He saved my boyfriend one time ". Sh said and then started to cry. 

" What's wrong"

" After he saved him. Jake stabbed him self .I dunno why he did. But he left me there "

" Mr Nicholas helped me to get a home and gave me cash to start my life . I'm an orphan".

" My dad died in a plane crash ,my mum killed her self and my brother died of drugs it just me .  Everyone I know left me "

She cried softly .

Kurt went to embrace her.

" Was that why you were drinking?". I asked. I don't think that all

" No, " she busted again" my house, my house. Was was Burnt yesterday morning.  I'm also homeless.  . I don't even want to leave anymore. I tired. Many times to kill my self but am always saved.  Same goes for yesterday.  I was planning to kill myself after getting drunk but". Kurt covered her mouth. Hoping she will say nothing more. 

" Let go " he said to her and they both left for his room.  I think I should leave them to them sefs. 

I haven't heard from Nick ,I hope all is well. .

  Evening time .

I had already packed my stuff. Nick is to come by 10. This is 9  .

" Kira" it was my mum
" Yes mum "
" Do you want to talk about it "
" About what?"
" Nick"
I paused
" He is engaged"
" How ?"
Why is she so calm about it
" I dunno ,I heard him and his sister talking."
" Is that why you are here?"
I nodded
" Staying away from him won't solve the problem. "
" Did you call him ?"
I nodded no too
" You are showing him that you are ready to let go of him "
" But I don't want to "
" Then prove it to him "
" She kissed my hair"
" Your dad was advised to leave me and marry another woman"
"Why ?"
" Because I didn't have a child for the first five years of out marriage"
" I felt like it was over ".
" But I didn't give up "
I saw happiness in her eyes
" But I go you. He was so happy. That why he loved you so so much.  I had Kurt he was sooo Soo happy. He was planning to make a play ground for you two and a amen room for Kurt. But his death " she paused .

" When he died ,my mother in law told me you are a witch. And you are the cause. I was so stupid and jealous of how he loved you so much and believed it.  Separating my self from you for 11 years was the greatest mistake of my life. "

She held my hands ,tears dropping .
" Forgive me my child,I don't have to right to b called your mother. "

" Mum noo. No you are the best woman. You didn't let me stave all my life. You still cared. "

" I want you to be happy ,I could have you the world but I have limited power ".

We hugged.
I heard a horn outside,it must be him .

I stood up ,
" Don't forget what k said my dear" I smiled to her.
Kurt came and hugged me. I wish I could talj to him longer than this .

" Bye sis "
" Bye sis in law " grace said.

What ?

Kurt winked at me as they both left. What just happened.

" Hey " Nick said and kissed me
" Missed me ?"
" Of course I did. Hope you aren't mad at me "
" Why should I be ?"
" I didn't call  and " I kissed him again
" Then I'm aslo at fault."
We entered the car. Got home but i didn't see his sis what her name again? I'll remember later I hope.

He sat me down
" Sooo Guess what "
" What " what could it be that he is smiling about
" I told my dad about you and he said he want to meet you '. He said if you can prove that ua good enough for me he will break the engagement. "

What ?

" What ?" He asked me

" How can I please your dad. He's rich and fancy and I dunno the rules of high class ,how to eat like them ,walk and talk I dunno. "

" I'll teach you ".
" When is the meeting,"

" He's having a three day ceremony for his company or something. In the next two day "
Two days !!!!!!

" O my ,I'm doom"
" No you are not we can do this , together"

He hugged me and carried me to the kitchen .

" I'm gonna make you the best dinner ,just sit and watch"
