Semi-Edited!

**PLEASE READ AUTHORS NOTE AT THE END!**

Thanks @Hhaabbss5131 for the cute cover!! <3

Song is Secret Love Song by Little Mix. I got recommended this song by someone and it really does fit Carter and Gage's relationship!

I want to meet this Gage Harper.

For a whole week that is all I could think about. My parents wanted to meet Gage, the guy I was supposedly dating. The guy who would probably not want to meet my parents. I was scared to even ask him if he would so for a whole week since dinner with my parents I never brought it up. We hung out almost everyday during the week but not once did I say anything about it.

My fathers words stayed in my head and it was actually making me keep some distance from Gage. I wasn't sure how to bring it up or how to convince him to meet my parents. They were really intimidating and it didn't help that my brother told my dad false things about Gage, which may make him hate him.

Of course my mother was no help. She wanted to meet him as much as my father, if not more. I couldn't count on her to talk my father out of this so I was stuck. And knowing my family they wanted to meet him as soon as possible, so it wasn't like I could hold off for months until they forgot.

It was now Saturday again and I was suppose to meet up with everyone. By everyone I mean everyone; Macey, Luke, Ethan, Amy, Dylan and Gage. Just knowing that all of them will be in the same room as one another was enough to make me want to stay home. Macey somehow convinced me it would be fun if Dylan and Gage went out bowling with us than to dinner. I still don't know why I agreed.

While it was surprising that I agreed I was even more shocked when Gage and Dylan said they'd go bowling with us. I'm not even sure what made them say yes, it may have been my begging, but still. I never thought they'd actually come well Dylan I was sure would go but Gage was another story. I was just happy they agreed.

Now as I am getting ready I am freaking out over what may happen. I didn't want any of the guys to get in a fight or to do say something stupid, which was bound to happen. I know Ethan and Luke don't like the other two but I hoped for my sake they would all just get along for once.

"Carter you ready?" Macey asked coming into my room and breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Uh not really." I muttered staring at my closet. I wasn't sure what to wear and with worry about tonight I can't think straight.

"Car we have to leave in like 10 minutes!" Mace said walking towards me.

"I know but Mace I'm worried about tonight."

"Don't be. Everything will be fine. Luke promise he would be on his best behavior."

"How did you get him to promise that?" I asked. That was a first for my brother.

"I said we would have sex unless he was good." At her words I clamped my hands down over my ears.

"Ew! That is so fucking gross." I glare over at her. "I don't need to hear that!" All she did was laugh and shake her head at me. Instead of saying anything in return she turned to my closet. It didn't take her long to grab some items and throw them at me.

"Hurry and put these on." She shoved them into my arms before leaving my room so I could get dressed. Forcing myself to push aside any negative thoughts I quickly got dressed. There is nothing I can do about today, all I can do is hope things turn out okay. If the boys were going to fight there was nothing I could do.

I slide on the dark blue skinny jeans, doing a little hop around the room. Because it was slightly warmer today I put on a cute grey tank top that had a heart with the america sign on the front. Just in case it got cold I grabbed one of my checkered long sleeve shirt to tie around my waist. Hearing Mace call my name I quickly slide on some cute heeled booties and a beanie before I was ready. I made sure I had extra socks in my bag in case, and everything I needed.

With one last look around my room I was ready to go. I wanted to stay in my room all day but I knew I had to leave. We can do this. It won't be that bad. I thought to myself. Heaving out a sigh I dragged my feet out of the room and into the living room where Macey was waiting for me.

"The boys are downstairs waiting for us. Is Gage meeting us there or downstairs as well?" She asked as she rummaged through her purse.

"Him and Dylan are going to meet us there. I thought it would be wise if they went in separate cars than us."

"Carter everything will be fine. This is the perfect way for them to get along and an even better time for you to ask Gage to meet your parents." Macey knows I haven't asked him yet and all week she has been trying to get me too. I couldn't help how nervous I was to ask him. If it were up to me this never would have happened.

I was stuck in my own thoughts as we both made our way downstairs to where everyone was waiting for us. I was trying to think of a good way to ask Gage. Should I just say 'hey come with me to meet my parents', or should I go my subtle and be like 'so my parents may want to meet you but if you don't want to you don't have too'. To say I was a little stressed about this would be a lie.

I didn't even realize that we were out of our building and meeting up with the rest of the group. It wasn't until Macey nudged me on the arm did I come back down to the present.

"So are the dogs-" My brother started to say but with a swift jab to the gut with Macey's elbow he corrected himself. "I mean are the guys going to just meet us there?" He asked wincing from Macey's hit. I didn't say anything about the comment but just narrowed my eyes at him.

"They are meeting us there. We should probably get going." I wasn't sure if Dylan and Gage were there yet but I didn't want them to wait for us.

"Fine." Luke grunted as he took Macey's hand and started leading us towards the parking lot. It was only than did I remember Ethan and Amy were here as well. I felt my heart squeeze at the sight of them but it wasn't bad, it was almost like someone pinched me instead of punching me straight in the heart.

"It is going to be nice to finally meet the Gage Harper in person." Amy said as we walked side by side.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked turning my head to look at her confused as to why she said his name like that.

"Oh nothing it is just that Gage is well known around campus."

"What is he well known for exactly?" I've always wondered by everyone knows of Gage and why my brother and Ethan hate him but I haven't found out why. I wasn't sure if it was because he was an underground fighter or something else.

"He's known for sleeping with basically the entire girl population on campus." Amy said right before she realized what she just said. She clamped a hand around her mouth like that would take back her words. It felt like someone had actually hit me in the stomach from her words.

Sure I knew Gage got around but if he was known on campus for sleeping with every girl that had to be true right? Why did it hurt when she said that? Yes I have a tiny little crush on him but it was nothing. It would fade soon...right? But what if he is using me to get into my pants? What if that is all he wants and if he doesn't he will just leave me?

"Carter those are probably all just false rumors. Most of the things people say around here are fake." Amy placed a hand on my arm. I didn't want to feel hurt by her words and it confused by how much I was. It shouldn't matter to me anyways, our relationship was fake and would end soon.

Her words did little to comfort me but I didn't want to let those plague my thoughts today. I already had enough to worry about and I didn't need those to cloud my mind. So with that I pushed all of that to the back of my mind and locked them up. It was stupid to even think and go on about. It shouldn't matter to me, it is his life and he can live it how he pleases. Just because we are 'dating' doesn't mean it is my business.

"You are right, they probably aren't true." I said but even to my ears I didn't sound convinced. Amy sent me an apologetic look before she walked up ahead to walk with Ethan. I know she didn't mean to tell me that, especially when she thinks I am dating Gage, but a part of me was mad. I was still mad that she told my parents about him and got me into this whole mess. I use to like how Amy would just tell you how it is but lately it has been bugging me.

I walked behind everyone as we headed for our cars to go bowling. I already knew this was a bad idea and after what Amy said my mood has dropped. When we reached the parking lot we decided that we would take Ethan's Range Rover since it had a little more room than the Jeep.

The ride there didn't take long as the car was filled with chatter. I stayed silent in the back while everyone else talked but I added my thoughts in a few times. I could feel Macey's eyes on me silently making sure I was okay. I was trying to get myself not to over think this whole thing and just believe it will all turn out okay. It was a lot easier said than done of course.

When we entered the bowling alley my nervous skyrocketed. I looked around for the familiar bodies of Gage and Dylan but when I didn't see them I knew they weren't here yet. I sent Gage a quick text saying we were here as we all headed to pay.

"He's coming right?" Ethan suddenly appeared next to me. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Ethan please be nice to him." I looked over at him and pleaded.

"Car-"

"Ethan please. Just try for me." I sent him some puppy dog eyes hoping it would do the trick. He let out a sigh through his nose and looked up at the ceiling.

"Fine I will." He muttered. I grinned at him.

"Thank you."

"Yeah, yeah." He waved me off but I could see a small smile on his face.

"You guys how many games do we want to play?" Luke called out interrupting us.

"I say 3." I said going over to him, Macey and Amy.

"That's sounds good to me." Luke agreed and everyone else voiced their opinion. I gave my brother twenty dollars to pay for Dylan and Gage, when they find out they will be pissed but I pushed that aside for now. Luke raised an eyebrow at me when I handed him money but I just waved him off.

While my brother payed and they got us our shoes I glanced around for Gage and Dylan. Right when I thought they wouldn't show up I heard my naming being called. I turned in the direction and saw Dylan bounding towards me, almost like a puppy. I didn't even have time to say anything before I was picked up and twirled around. A laugh escaped my lips as Dylan twirled me around. When he finally put me down I grinned up at him.

"Hello to you to." I said as he smiled down at me. "Got to say though that is a good way to greet people."

"It is my new thing." I just laughed and shook my head at him. He moved to the side and I caught sight of Gage behind him. My eyes greedily took him in. He was wearing a simple dark grey-blue t-shirt that the sleeves were rolled up a little, showing off his arm tattoos. He paired it with a pair of dark black skinny jeans. Normally the skinny jeans would look weird on a guy but of course Gage pulled it off. His brown hair was styled messily across his forehead. He looked very handsome.

"Hey." I said softly as I looked at him. Ignored the stares at my back from my friends as I stared at Gage.

"Hey." He said back a smile slowly appearing on his face. Seeing his smile all my doubt went away. Just one look at him was enough to calm some of the fears I had and my chaotic thoughts.

"I'm glad you guys came." Any doubts that they wouldn't come flew away the moment I saw them. It got quiet for a moment I remember to introduce them to the other properly. Turning around to face everyone else with Gage and Dylan at my sides I started the introductions although everyone knew who they were.

"That is my brother Luke." I gestured to my brother who had his arm wrapped around Macey and had her glued to his side. I watched as my brother gave both Dylan and Gage a nod in greeting. I stifled a smile as I continued.

"You guys already know Macey. That is Ethan and Amy next to him." I finished. Macey and Amy said hello while Ethan just did what my brother did, a nod in greeting.

"Anyways we just paid and are getting our shoes so grab yours and we can get started." I said clapping my hands together to break the tension. God if you are listening please let this turn out okay. I pleaded silently.

Everyone kind of just stood there staring at one another. Thankfully Macey spoke and grabbed Luke's arm.

"Okay we are going to go to the lane and get some balls." She said, tugging Luke after her and grabbing Ethan's arm on the way. I sent her a silent thank you as she lead them towards our line, while us three went to grab our shoes.

"What can I get you pretty lady." The older gentlemen behind the counter asked. I raised an eyebrow at him not entirely sure if he meant that in a sweet grandfather way or a pervert grandfather way. I crinkled my nose at the grin he sent me.

"Size 7 shoe please." I said taking a step to the side to near Gage. This guy was beyond creepy.

"Size 10." Gage said in a low voice staring right at the guy. He could tell he was making me comfortable as he suddenly grabbed my hand and laced his fingers through mine. I squeezed it as a thank you.

The guy didn't even take his gaze off of me as he got all three of us our shoes. Before I even reached for my pair Gage beat me to it and handed them to me, the further away from the creepy guy the better. I didn't get a chance to say thank you as Gage pulled me away, his grip on my hand firm. The moment we were out of the guys sight did I relaxed.

We didn't say anything as we headed towards the rest of the group. My hand stayed in Gage's and I made no move to remove it. His hand was perfect to hold.

"I am so ready to school you all!" Dylan announced once we reached the table. He had a wide grin plastered on his face and his eyes were twinkling.

"No way dude, this is my game." Luke said a smile on his own face as he stood up. I was happy to see my brother smiling and trying to be nice.

"We shall see." Dylan said smirking as he went to sit down and put on the ugly bowling shoes you get.

"Carter, Gage, what do you want your names to be?" Amy asked as she sat in front of the little screen where you put the players name in.

"Uh my name?" I questioned as I finally let go of Gage's hand to take a seat.

"You can't use your regular name Carter, we are all having funny nicknames." Amy rolled her eyes at me. "So Gage what name do you want?" She turned to look at Gage who was sitting next to me taking off his shoes.

"I don't care."

"Fine I'll give you guys one myself." She huffed and turned back to the screen. I ignored her as I slide of my booties and slide on the ugly bright yellow and red bowling shoes. These shoes definitely made my outfit now.

It only took me a minute to grab a ball and to put it with the rest. Because there were 7 of us the rack was pretty full but than again Macey and I grabbed the same color ball, the pink 8 pound one. While I was getting my ball Gage and Dylan brought over two extra chairs and were sitting next to me.

Our table was silently and the awkwardness was starting to sink in. No one really knew what to say. The boys were tense around one another and because we told them to behave themselves they decided not to say anything.

"We are playing three games boys so you better get ready for us girls to whip your butts." Macey said grinning at everyone and breaking the silence.

"But there are 4 guys and only 3 girls, so just by that us guys will win." Luke said.

"You think us girls can't beat you guys?" I asked crossing my arms.

"Of course. Men are superior." Ethan said smirking. At his words Amy leaned away from him narrowing her eyes.

"Men are not superior to women."

"Then why were men made first? It went Adam and Eve, not Eve and Adam." Dylan added into the conversation.

"God made man before woman, because you always make a rough draft before the final masterpiece." I said with my own smirk. Seeing spending hours on Pinterest and Facebook is useful. Beside me Gage chocked back on a laugh.

"Okay fine how about we make a bet on that." Ethan said looking at us girls.

"What kind of bet?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"We will play the first two games boys against girls and at the end of those two games we will see who has the most points. The third game can be just for fun." He said.

"What do we get when we win?" Mace asked.

"When you lose you will pay for the winners dinner." Luke said.

"And." Amy prompted.

"And what?"

"The losers have to take their girlfriend or boyfriend out for a date. And not no going to the diner date, something fun and unique." She said with a grin. I went to open my mouth but Dylan said something before me.

"But I don't have a girlfriend."

"Than you'll have to ask a girl out and take her on a date." Amy shrugged. I couldn't help but laugh softly at Dylan's expression for not having a girlfriend.

"Don't worry Dyl any girl will be lucky to go on a date with you." I reached over and patted his arm with a smile.

"So do we have a deal?" Ethan asked glancing around at everyone, including Gage who hasn't said a word. Us girls looked at each other for a minute and talked silently through our eyes. Macey shrugged and Amy nodded. I had a feeling we were going to lose but a chance for Gage to take me out or for me too, hell yes.

"Okay we are in." I voiced our agreement.

"Are you two?" Ethan turned to Dylan and Gage. I looked over at Gage silently hoping he would say yes.

"Why not." Dylan agreed. Gage glanced over at me as I waited for his answer.

"Sure." He said not taking his eyes off of me. I grinned glad he said yes.

"Lets all shake on it." Luke said holding his hand out for his girlfriend. All of us rolling our eyes we went and shook hands with everyone. When I got to Gage he had a small smirk on his face.

"Get ready to take me on a date princess." He said softly so only us two could hear it.

"You better start thinking of a date place." I shot back. I was going to try and win so Gage would be the one to take me out.

"We'll see about that." Gage said dropping my hand and crossing them over his chest. I just shook my head at him and turned to the screen to see who was up.

Luke was up and out of his seat, his name up first. When I started to read the names my mouth flew open.

"Wait why am I Belle from Beauty and The Beast?" I asked out loud.

"Amy and I decided on doing disney princess theme so, Luke and I are Mulan and Shang. Amy and Ethan are Rapunzel and Flynn. You and Gage are Belle and Beast. And lastly Dylan is Mushu."

"Beast seriously?" I raised an eyebrow at that.

"What? You two match it perfectly!" Amy said. "All of us fit the princesses."

"Macey doesn't!" I pointed out.

"Yeah well Mulan is her favorite princess and there were no other ones she fit."

"I for one am fine with Mushu. He is the best!" Dylan interrupted.

"He has a thing for Mulan." Gage whispered in my ear. I giggled at that. Never would have thought Dylan would like disney movies.

"Plus Car you kind of are Belle. You love books and you have brown hair." Ethan said.

"Wow like 50% of the population." I gasped dramatically. But it is true. If I had to be a princess Belle would be my number one. Hello she gets to use a huge library in the beasts home, who wouldn't want that!

"Well so is Flynn Ryder but you don't see me complaining."

"But Flynn Ryder is hot." I said. What he is for a animated character.

"You know he is not real." Gage said looking at me like a weirdo.

"Doesn't make him any less hot." Was all I said.

They didn't say anything else as it was Ethan's turn to bowl. Macey and Amy had make it so every couple went right after one another. So Luke and Macey first, Amy and Ethan, than Gage and I, followed lastly by Dylan.

When it was Gage's turn to go I bit back a loud laugh as I watched him walk to get him ball. His bright colored shoes looked ridiculous on him and never before would I ever picture Gage in bowling shoes. He didn't seem like the type to just go bowling on a Saturday night.

All of us were silent as Gage bowled and hit every pin but one. It was only our first turn and he already got a higher a higher score than the rest of us. Hell even Luke and Ethan didn't knock down that many. When he went back for his second time he hit the last pin easily. Gage turned and walked back to our table like he didn't just do great. We all stared at him not expecting him to be good at this.

I kept staring at him while Dylan got up for his turn. All Gage did was send me a wink and look ahead at Dyl. Okay maybe he was right I should get ready to take him out. If he played that good for both games the guys would do pretty well.

The sound of Dylan's ball hitting the ground made me turn to look at him. His ball spun and hit the pins knocking all but three down. Luke and Ethan sat up straighter to watch if he would get the rest. If he got this us girls had a lot of making up to do. Just like Gage he easily hit the rest down and came back to take a seat.

The three of us girls looked at each other silently asking what the hell did we just do. While the guys smacked hands with Dylan and Gage, wide grins plastered on their faces. Yep we were screwed.

*****

Surprisingly us girls did really well in the first two games. All three of us scored at least one strike or more, although we did end up in the gutter more often than not. We tried to get bumpers but the boys wouldn't let us and there was apparently a rule that if you were over a certain age you can't get them. Stupid right!

We were on our final turn of the second game and the boys were well into the lead. It wasn't fair because it was four against three. And lets me honest guys have better arms to bowl with, especially these four that work out on a regular basis. Us girls were seriously out matched and were now regretting making the bet with the boys.

Shang, aka Luke, was up currently and Macey was trying everything to distract him. His first ball she did pretty well at districting him by coming up and wrapping her arms around his waist. She whispered something in his ear before backing off with a wide grin. His ball went right into the gutter. He caught on quickly to what she was doing and got back in gear for his final bowl. Because he messed up on his first he didn't get his third try much to our pleasure.

When it was Macey's turn Amy and I cheered her on and kept Luke back from trying anything on her. We weren't successful because on her final bowl Luke got around us and grabbed her from the waist just as she let the ball go. She only hit one pin.

The same thing happened for Ethan and Amy's turn. We were even less successful because Ethan knew what we were doing. Nothing Amy did fazed him and he rolled a perfect strike, probably his 6th one of the night. He easily got to do a third bowl and managed to knock most of the pins down, upping his score even more. Thankfully Amy was a little better than Mace and was able to get all her pins down on the second try. Her third wasn't much to help out us.

When Gage got up to go the boys clapped and cheered him on. They all clearly found common ground, beating us at bowling, that they have bonded pretty well. No harsh words were thrown around and the awkwardness faded pretty fast. They got along pretty well if I must say so and I even felt like they may have changed their attitude toward Gage a little bit, even if it was just a little bit it was fine by me. It was progress in my book.

Gage was definitely the reason the boys were winning. Sure all four were good and put up their share of points, Gage dominated. Right off the bat he got a strike on the second game and got 5 more afterwards. Dylan of course was helping out as well. It was like they were both secretly on a bowling team no one knew about. Gage was like a natural and bowled so easily. Never once getting in the gutter, much to my displeasure. I wanted to find something he wasn't good at.

Just as he picked up his ball I got an idea. Might as well try and distract him as well, couldn't hurt us anymore. I was the last of the girls to go so it was basically up to me, yeah no pressure there. With Amy and Macey talking to their boyfriends I snuck up behind Gage, ready to pounce on him.

As he pulled his arm back I took my shot. I ran the few feet between us and jumped on his back, hoping to throw him off. Of course it didn't work out like I had planned it would, nothing ever did when it came to Gage. My action did nothing to deter his moving. His arm let the ball go perfectly and it rolled down the lane before it hit straight on, making the pins slam back with a loud bang, all falling down. With my legs wrapped around his waist and my arms around his neck I sighed, placing my forehead on his hard shoulder.

"Damn that didn't work out like I had hoped." I muttered against him before sliding off his back. Why did I think that would even work? When Gage turned around and stared down at me, his chest inches from mine. I gulped as I tilted my head up to look at him.

"Hey, how's it going." I tried to smile up at him but it didn't work. I could feel everyone's eyes on us but with Gage's eyes on me that was all I could think about.

"Looks like you are taking me out on a date, princess." Was all he said before he bend down and suddenly I was in the air. My body was flung over a hard shoulder and it stuck into my gut hard. My head hung down his back and my butt was in the air. I didn't even know what he was doing until it was too late.

"Gage put me down!" I yelled leaning up and trying to see Gage's face.

"No can do princess." He said looking over at me. I noticed his lips were twitching as he held back a grin.

"Gage." I warned but a smack on my butt made me stop. I narrowed my eyes at him. "Did you just smack my butt?" Gage just smirked before he looked away and started moving.

Every step he took his shoulder poked into my stomach, almost knocking the wind out of me. I tried to move out of his hold but again it didn't work. Gage had a firm hold on me.

My face was turning red as I felt everyone in the bowling alley looking over at us. For someone who doesn't like attention this wasn't for me. I put my head into the back of Gage's shirt trying to hide my face.

"What are you doing?" I heard Ethan ask as Gage lead us back to the table. Gage turned around so I was facing our group.

"Oh you know...just hanging." I said lifting my head up to see Macey and Amy grinning and Ethan and Luke narrowing their eyes at me, Dylan looked like he could care less.

"I can tell." He raised an eyebrow at me. "Are you going to go so us guys can win already?"

"Of course that is what you are more concerned about." I commented. I tapped Gage's back before directing my next words at him. "Can I get down now?" With another tap to my butt he grabbed my waist and pulled me off his hard shoulder. When he sat me on my feet I held onto his arms as the blood rushed back to my head.

"Nice ass." He whispered before he let me go and took a step back. I stared at him with a wide mouth. Did he really just say that? I wondered. Sending me a sly smile he went and took a seat at the table.

Flustered I made myself turn to grab my ball. I wasn't even thinking straight as I grabbed it and headed for the lane. It wasn't until my ball flew from my hand and smacked against the wooden floor of the lane, did I come back to earth.

Just as I thought I had messed up my final bowl I watched as my ball went straight down the lane and hit the first pin with enough speed to knock the rest down. First strike of this whole game. Seeing all the pins laying down I jumped up and turned around to face the group.

Grinning like an idiot I cheered with the Macey and Amy. It would do nothing to help us out of losing but it didn't matter.

"Yes!" I cheered coming to the table, pointing at all the guys. "In your face!" It seemed Gage's little move made me do better, who would have thought.

"And you thought you would mess me up." I accused Gage who has a soft smile on his face. Sticking my tongue out I pivoted on my heel to bowl again.

My little streak died fast because my next ball wasn't great at all. I only hit a few pins and than in the gutter. Well that lasted. I thought sarcastically. When I got to the table I held a hand up to stop any comments from the guys. We all knew who won.

As we all thought the guys won, to much displeasure for us girls. The deal wasn't terrible though, paying for dinner and taking our boyfriends on a date. Would have been better if we won though.

"You girls better pay up." Luke said grinning. Next to him Mace just rolled her eyes as did the rest of us.

"Yeah, yeah." Amy waved him off.

The guys celebrated before we started the final game. At least this game we don't have to care about our score. We played a few turns before Macey started gesturing towards Gage. I knew what she was trying to say but I didn't want to bring it up yet. I shook my head at her trying to get her to stop but she didn't.

I knew she wouldn't give up which meant I had to ask Gage if he'd come to meet my parents. Sighing inwardly I looked away from her to look at Gage.

"Hey can I talk to you for a second." I whispered to him tapping his arm. He raised an eyebrow but nodded. With Ethan barely going we had time to talk. I lead him over to a corner where no one could hear us.

I fiddled with my fingers trying to figure out how to start this off. Apparently I can't avoid this conversation.

"So what did you want to talk about?" Gage asked first.

"I uh well..." He gave me a look as if you tell me to just spit it out. "At our family dinner last saturday Amy kind of told my parents about me dating you, now they want to meet you." I rushed out. I stared at his face waiting for his reaction.

"Wait. Your parents want to meet me?" He asked.

"My parents think we are dating so they want to meet the guy. You don't have to go if you don't want to and I don't blame you. I mean we aren't really dating so it is okay." I rambled off.

"I'll go." He words stopped me.

"What?"

"I'll meet your parents."

"Seriously?" I was shocked he said yes. He didn't have to go at all but here he was saying yes.

"Yeah." Gage shrugged like it wasn't a big deal, but it was for me. There has only ever been one guy that I have taken home to meet my parents and look how that turned out. With my parents having an idea of Gage in their mind I was just hoping they would like him. If my father doesn't he shows it and lets be real here he won't let me see him again if he doesn't like him.

"Okay uh good. Thank you." I didn't know what to say. I was beyond happy that he said yes, no more nagging by my mom through text.

"Just let me know when." A small nod and he moved back to our table. He literally made it sound like it we were just going to dinner, not meeting my parents. While I was here trying not to freak out about it.

"Yeah." I muttered when he moved away. Okay now we just have to set it up.

Wait Gage is going to meet my parents. Well shit.

Hi guys long time no see! I know, I know it has been a long time since I updated, like two weeks. But when I got back from San Francisco I had a bunch to do and I couldn't seem to write and everything I did I hated. Today I ended being busy so that is why this update is later than I thought. (I went and saw Suicide Squad finally and it was freaking good! Love Margo Robbie)

This chapter I do not like at all but I wanted to give you guys something because I haven't updated in a while. It is definitely a HUGE filler and I may even come back and try to change it. But this means that the next chapter will be all Gage meeting Carter's parents. I want to save that anyways for a separate one.

I want to remind you guys that THIS STORY IS NOT FINISHED AND IT WILL NOT BE FINISHED ANY TIME SOON.
