Mute danced and sang as she controlled the shadows that were attacking Ash/Angela. A wicked smile was on her face as she danced to her own song, and seeing the look of determination to survive this fight excited her more.

'Something isn't right. Why isn't she using her full power? Why is she holding back?' Ash thought while dodging the attacking shadows. 'Again and again, you have denied me when all I wanted to do is help you. Naive girl!'

"A haunted, haunted house

Mute waved her arms around while singing her music as the shadows targeted Ash like missiles. Her eyes showed excitement when looking at her prey. "This has gone long enough. See God's purifying light!" Ash waved his sword and pointed it to the sky, shining a bright white light at the tip. This blinded Mute and caused the shadows to descend. Mute grunted and shielded her eyes with her arms. 'Got you!' Ash smirked wide. 

He dashed at the girl and grabbed her by her arms. Ash quickly grabbed her head and smashed it into the ground, but not too hard. Just hard enough to make a dent. Mute yelped in pain. Taking out his sword again, Ash stabbed Mute in her right shoulder. A horrific screech came from the girl's throat. 

Ash kept his foot on Mute's back to keep her pinned to the floor. Due to the pain in Mute's shoulder, her form began to morph back to her original appearance. "You let yourself go to waste. What a shame." Angela's voice was now heard. She knelt down and traced her finer on Mute's back. Mute shivered at this and felt Angela's lips near her ear. "I will free you from yourself." She whispered and pulled their sword out of Mute's shoulder, earning another yelp from her. 

The same blinding white light shined at the tip of the blade again. Angela's face turned to Ash once more as they smirked down at the fallen angel. Mute forced her eyes opened and glanced back at Ash with a glare. Her eyes widened when seeing the light at the tip of the sword again just as Ash brought down the blade. 

Mute screamed and shut her eyes, knowing she couldn't escape from this. Suddenly, Ash was tackled and kicked afar. Mute quickly scurried away and looked to see Sebastian standing in front of her. Her eyes widen in surprise when seeing his demonic glowing eyes. She could almost hear the low growl coming from his throat. 

Sebastian turned around and walked towards Mute. She was still on high alert. The demon knelt down and embraced her tightly. Mute shut her eyes and clung on to him, fearing he would do something to her. At the same time she almost felt safe in his arms. When she opened her eyes Sebastian held the same look. That possessive and lustful look. His eyes glanced down at her bleeding shoulder before leaning down to lick it. Mute shut one of her eyes as she thought, 'Really?! Now!?' 

Another growl could be heard from the demon's throat, causing Mute to blink. She has heard him growl before, but this one was filled with hatred. "It will be alright now." He embraced Mute again while whispering this into her ear. Sebastian pulled away and stood up again. Ash came into view again with an angry expression.

"You..." He growled while eyeing Sebastian. Seeing Sebastian protect Mute, knowing the two were now against him. All of his plans gone to waste now. And it angered him to the core. "The two of you...." Ash's body began to shake. Sebastian and Mute prepared themselves when feeling the ground slightly shake. 

Mute glanced to see Ciel sitting down, far away from the battle. 'They both came all the way here? Why?' 

"The two of you shall be perished to Hell!!!!" Ash/Angela screamed to the top of their lungs while taking flight, their wings stretched out. Feathers came crashing down all over the place. Mute kicked Sebastian toward where Ciel was while taking flight to avoid the attack. 

Sebastian ran towards his Master as Mute flew away from the disaster. After seeing the destruction from the Ange's attack, she saw that Sebastian and Ciel were out of danger for now. 'They're out of the way for now...' Mute sighed to herself in relief before turning back to Ash. 

"I think it's time you leave the rest to the butler, Milady." Mute quickly turned around to see Undertaker against a wall. "Come, my dear." He reached his hand out. Without thinking, Mute took his hand and the two went back to the city. 

Upon arrival, Mute witnessed the chaos around her. Buildings up in flames, humans dying and screaming, and burnt bodies on the ground. She stared blankly at the sight until, Mute!" Miko came jogging towards her before lunging at her for a hug. "Thank goodness!" 

Mute hugged back tightly and closed her eyes. She almost thought she lost Miko upon the mess... Mute turned back to ask Undertaker a question, but he was already gone and nowhere to be seen. 

"I think it's time we take our leave. The city is quite done for. But, who's to say it's to survive in the end." Miko said. 

"Is now really the time for riddles?" Mute communicated with a deadpan look while sweat-dropping.

"Well, it looks like I will return back to my duties. Ladies, enjoy the rest of the night while you still can." Undertaker giggled once more before tipping his hat and walking off into the burning streets. 

"Something tells me we will be seeing him again... But I think we should get going, don't you agree? We've done enough for one night." Miko could only giggle before grabbing Mute's hand and fleeing the disaster. While fleeing, a bright light shined above. The two girls looked back as they could faintly hear a dying scream. 

'So....that's that.'

"So, Mute... What's next?~"
