13 Ship which Crashed

POV Jack

--Three years ago—

Just a week left, mere 7 days, only 168 hours..which makes 10080 minutes – I have never been interested in math this much. Now that I only have this small amount of time, I'm slowly starting to panic. For an immortal who has lived for hundreds of years a week feels like blinking your eyes once.

"Please wind, find baby snow," I mumbled while I kept my eyes closed.

Only wind could carry my powers of winter through the barrier, only it brings me some glimpses of the life on the other side in form of scents. I'm sitting on the rooftop above North's workshop.

"Jack, get down from there," North shouted and I open up my other eye.

I grinned to him. "Soon North," I shouted.

"If you wish that I take you with me to enjoy Mrs. North's stew you get down in this instant," he roared and went back inside.

It was an annual thing that me, North and other Guardians would go to North's home to enjoy Mr. North's cooking. Just two weeks before Christmas so North could eat his stomach full and then spent his entire time at his workshop.

Before Christmas is Winter Solstice and...

A pleasant mix of chocolate and sweetness filled my nose. The wind was blowing playfully past me when I got myself up. I turn around to face the wind.

I can't control it. Mama, papa...why...

The sound was so silent and distant that I barely heard it. My emotions were mixed, both joyful and frightful – now I found her. Just in the eve of her 18th birthday. I can keep my promise.

I grasped my staff from the ceiling and I flew down, swinging myself inside from the window with my feet kicking it open.

"North! Bunny! Tooth! Sandy! My wind found her! I know where she is!" I cheered in excitement.

Instead of sharing my joy I saw traces of shock and misbelieve on their faces. My smile faded off as they seemed serious all of a sudden.

"Mate, you should've given up by now," Bunny frowned.

"Well, no. She's my friend," I frowned.

"We're your friends and she's mortal and there's a reason why she's behind that magic barrier – you can't risk it!" Bunny scolded.

"It has been years. I waited for years to see her and," I mumbled.

"Jack, please. You got so hurt when Jamie passed away," Toothiana whispered while she placed her hand on my shoulder.

I quickly ran away from under her touch. "You guys can't be serious, "I practically laughed at their behavior.

"Can you be certain that you found her? And remember that there are serious consequences if you try to cross the barrier," North exhaled.

I backed up towards the door. "None of you understands--," I begun, "—I made a promise, I won't break it."

"You have broken promises before so what's the big deal?" Bunny groaned.

I did a sharp turn to rush to the door. However Toothiana was quicker and she was already blocking my way to the door. Even Sandy was shaking his head.

"C'mon!" I shouted.

"Think of the children, what if something happens--," North said quietly.

"Baby snow is a child!"I yelled.

"Princess Elsa is almost 18 years old," North frowned.

"See! Still not old enough for adult stuff," I laughed shortly as I tried to get pass him.

"People are trying to find her Jack, evil people. What if they follow you?" Toothiana asked. Her voice was filled with worry.

"No one is able to follow me around, I'm fast like the wind," I replied.

"Grab him," North's thick eyebrows narrowed his eyes.

A burst of wind exploded in his work shop when I avoided the hands of the yetis as they tried to take a hold of me.

"NO WIND IN THE WORKSHOP JACK!" North roared as a patch of toy cars flew down from the table, making the yeti that was painting them to cry.

I didn't have time for apologies, I didn't have time to stay here any longer. I just heard their shouts for me to stop when I flew through the skylight window. The wind carried me closer and closer to her, her scent was getting stronger on each passing minute.

I paused to float above the shore of the sea. The sun was coming up from the horizon but when I began to fly again, in order to cross the sea, the sky begin to get darker.

A strong force was trying to push me back, even the wind was now against me. This must be it, the barrier. However, I must go through it.

Forcing my way I went forward, the storm was getting worse and the seas dark waves looked like they wanted to consume me. One by one I avoided the lightning bolts which were flashing around me. My clothes were soaking wet from the heavy rain but I didn't give up.

It was like I was stuck in glue, it made me pant hard.

"Let me through!" I yelled above the roaring storm as I kept pushing the barrier with my both hands.

First my left arm felt a lot lighter. It was through. I began to push with my left shoulder and for a moment I felt like I couldn't breathe. And then, my body got through.

However my staff was gone, I just noticed that I was falling down from the sky right to the sea. My body slammed into the waves and sunk.

I kicked myself back up to the surface, the waves were tossing my body around angrily as if I broke agreement with them.

"Wind!" I shouted but for my shock no words came out, just a single exhale.

Just when I was about to try to call out the wind again for my aid a mouthful of salty water went down my throat and made me cough. My eyes were aching from the salt.

Then I saw something that was almost like a miracle. A ship.

I tried to wave my hand in wish that they would spot me. But they didn't.

My eyes widened when the ship crashed into an invisible wall. It was torn to pieces and when a wave swift over me I lost the sight of it. It sunk.

I kept on struggling to stay afloat. Gladly a piece of board floated towards me and I grasped to it with my dear life. I was panting hard when my cheek was against the wet wood.

W-what am I doing here anyway?

I wondered. I should be at home and not in here, in the middle of sea. But, where's my home?

And what is my name?

The only thing I remember is... that someone called me as...

--Present day—

"JACK!"

A yell made me open up my eyes.

"Yeah he is awake now," someone else hummed.

It took me some time to blink and to get adjusted to the dark.

"W-where am I?" I managed to mutter out.

I saw three men looking at each other. Then one of them got up and went somewhere. That was when a large amount of light filled up the room. It was so bright that for a moment I couldn't see.

"Wait... Phillip, Eric and Charming?" I exhaled as I got to sit up.

"Yes, so what brought a Guardian to join us here?" Phillip smiled.

"Umm.. where exactly is here?" I said while rubbing my aching head. I took my hand quickly away when my vision began to get blurry. Gladly it was just temporary.

"A tower in Kingdom of Arendelle," Charming said while he was looking out from the window which he just exposed.

"W-why are you in Arendelle? Don't you have your own kingdoms?" I gulped.

"Well, the witch queens got this idea," Eric sighed and run his hand through his black hair.

"Yes, for some reason they thought that Aurora could be an evil queen and join them," Phillip muttered bitterly.

"Same goes with Ariel and Snow White," Eric shrugged.

"They tried to turn them evil but they didn't succeed so they locked up our wives somewhere with the rest of the queens," Charming said and punched the wall with his fist.

"And you're locked up too?" I frowned.

"Yes, like you! But we can't figure out why they would lock a Guardian up here," Eric wondered.

"Truly, since we're a risk to turn our wives back to good if they would turn but... you're not married are you?" Phillip questioned and raised his eyebrow.

I shook my head , "No...but.."

"But?" They repeated in unison and approached me.

I exhaled, "I brought the Queen of Arendelle here."

"You WHAT!" They raised their voices again in unison.

"You guys have been here too long," I chuckled since their actions were amusing.

Then Phillip and Eric grasped onto me, I can't help but to notice how much older they have gotten. Well, they are middle aged kings and even Eric's daughter Melody must be over 18 by now.

"Explain," Charming said and poked my chest.

"I had an agreement with the witches, that was the only way to—" I began.

"They are the worst kind of people Jack!" Eric gasped.

"Yeah but I wanted to leave and--," I gulped.

"Ugh... well.. do you think that the Queen might turn evil? If she does the whole world is at stake... you must know the prophecy.." Charming sounded like he was suffering from the mere idea.

"The prophecy – doesn't it say that when the Guardian of fun would do something then...," Phillip questioned.

I sighed, "It says : When the Guardian of Fun grows into a man the hour of darkness is at hand. The Queen of Ice is lured by evil and will end all.--- Everyone knows it."

Phillip pushed me against the wall and made air escape from my lungs.

"Frost, this is no time for joking," he hissed at me.

"But I am still me, I surely haven't--," I insisted and then my eyes widened , "—ooh" I whistled.

"What?" Charming muttered.

"A man," I repeated.

"WHAT?" Charming repeated.

Phillip dropped me down and I rub my neck. "Well, I started aging at the other side of the barrier," I whispered.

"You really brought her here... after all the safety measures her parents had to take," Charming groaned and facepalmed.

"Yes but it was an accident," I gulped.

"Okay since the accident has happened there must be a way to fix everything. We are the heroes, that's why we are here so they must have brought Jack here for that reason also," Eric insisted.

"But we saw how his blood was taken, right?" Phillip questioned.

"Let's get the basics clear. So you've aged a bit which is not so bad--," Charming sighed.

"Have you done anything... with girls...," Eric narrowed his eyes.

"Like what?" I gasped.

"Well, the things that man and woman do together. Kissing, hugging, dating...sexual activities?" Eric said and stared at me in a way that made me turn red.

"N-no," I managed to gulp out.

Every one of them sighed from relief.

"So he isn't a man yet, the prophecy won't still be--," Charming smiled.

"But I had had some... thoughts..." I whispered and a shiver runs up from my spine while I stare down.

"Okay, let me scratch that one from before," Charming groaned.

For a moment everyone was all quiet. Yeah, I screwed stuff up again. Why didn't I listen to North and others.

"Let's get a new approach. How do you know the Queen of Arendelle?" Phillip questioned.

"Friends since her childhood," I shrugged while I felt down.

"Maybe he can convince her to stop?" Charming had his hopes up high.

"But I betrayed her by bringing her here," I mumbled.

"At least you could fight her to stop her if there's no other way. You both can control ice, right?" Eric wanted to know.

"Yes but I would rather not and my powers are not as strong as they were before," I exhaled.

"You should try at least--," Charming tried to comfort me, "—now fly us out from the tower and."

"I can barely float around. I might get down from here but I don't have enough power to get you guys out," I smiled sadly.

"Get yourself out then, before it is too late," Eric cheered.

We heard how someone was at the door and turning a key. Charming shushed everyone just in time. I only managed to see a glimpse of a tall woman with horns standing in the doorway when I felt some strong power throwing me against the wall. My vision blurred for a while as I laid down on the floor.

The woman with horns was using some spell to keep Phillip, Charming and Eric away from me. That was when someone walked over to me and I felt how a cold blade slit over my neck and my blood began to drip down. Then the woman left with the person of whom I only saw the shoes that the person was wearing, big black leathery ones.
