When Larry Wilson—The King of Erotica ™—asked me to write the foreword for his autobiography, I leapt at the opportunity to become a permanent part of a work of art
that will long out live any of us.

As I sat to put pen to paper, I wondered what I could say about a prolific author
whose previous work has already garnered over two hundred (5) Star Reviews. What do I say about a literary force who has sold thousands of books and has been a featured novelist in numerous national book clubs?

What do I say about a writer who has taken the literary world by storm after being told that his work was good but not “right for us” by traditional publishing enterprises?

Even further, what do I say about a man who has overcome many obstacles, including childhood abuse, suicidal
thoughts, prison and poverty, who continues to stand?

I could say a lot, but mainly I’ll say that through it all, he continues to stand and push forward.

Bucking the traditional publishing process, Larry has shown us that well-written, salient and unapologetically raw stories that speak of real life issues, including pleasure and pain, will sell, regardless of the “process” that is chosen to distribute the work.

Through Larry’s hard work and dedication to the craft, he has etched out for himself and his works an enduring place in the upper echelons of literature.

Transcending demographic classifications such as gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic conditions, Larry carefully
crafts characters and stories that resonate within the human spirit and uplift the human condition.

His words are masterful and his stories are powerful. He is a giant among mortals.

This autobiography will show a complex man, full of doubt and confidence, belief and incredulity, passion and pain. Larry’s honesty regarding his sometimes turbulent life is refreshing and courageous.
