Chapter 3: Number 1
🔷️
Dear.
Diary:
Those Men Only Bible Study meetings on Mondays truly opened my heart to each and every brother of all adult age groups and I saw a piece of another life through their eyes.
Letting it go, all the past stuff and starting over with a clean slate had made me appreciate God.
Documenting my testimony in my Auto:BIO~LoGee. My Autobiology.
My ups and downs, highs and lows and living with HIV and doing it successfully lives on for those who may be faced with this reality, know someone or going through something in my book you could relate to.
I hope that would encourage you to
love your sister, love your brother, love your neighborhood and release the grips something dark may have on you so you could fall to your knees and thank God for sparing your life.
Some of the folk were rocking those stilettos and that lace front and those Stacy Adams and tuning in to the Ricky Smiley and The Steve Harvey Show because of the POWER of God. And Steve and Rickey were hosting their own shows because of the grace of God as well...
May no weapon formed against you prosper...
That’s my motto. And that’s still not enough for some people to give their life to God, despite their pasts, and free themselves from the Egypt Affect: Bondage. That's their choice to make as well, so no harm done.
So my world is unlike your very own, a world so deep into your abysmal cranium you swear, oh you swear, your Royal
Highness, that it’s a palace.
As you turn from this page I ask of you. Have an open heart. And have an open mind. I’m sorry but I must be
blunt right after this word right here: I'm VERY outspoken.
I can’t help that. I've been battling demons off my body since I was six years old. And had to fight pa$tor$, a crooked cop and a pimp and the Wicked Ex Step Daddy from the East by the time I was sixteen just so my ass could breathe.
Despite it all, read this account of my life and I ask you to dig deep into your heart and your soul and ask yourself one thing: IF YOU WERE ME AND WENT THROUGH WHAT
I WENT THROUGH, TELL ME, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE?
If you can answer that amicably, feel free to leave your bigotry and your bias at the door. Because, even though you thought of yourself in my shoes, I am still me and this is myTESTIMONY.
My pain was pain all my own; and just because you woulda did "Nay" in my situation doesn’t mean I was supposed to say 'Yay" to yours.
Regards to the ladies, gentleman, thugs, gentlefems, transgenders (ya’ll be looking so gorgeous), butches, loving lesbians and other people in other nations and creeds, if you can read this in English then it will touch you as well.
Forget everybody's perception of you when it comes to your legacy. And keep God Number 1. You were made in his image, you all.
And don’t let anybody tell you differently.
