Whoops. Sorry! I hit publish too soon! NOW Here you go!
Your P.O.V~
Staring.
My only source of entertainment, is staring at the ceiling. I feel helpless, pitiful, and alone. I couldn't defend them, as they were dragged away. Separated from me, in this prison of solitary torture. I've been separated from the others.
No sound, no sights, no tastes, nothing to feel but cold metal and rough stone. Nothing in here but my cold body and shreds of brown sacks.
Left to my thoughts, I couldn't help but imagine, imagine what could have happened.
If I hadn't pissed off Miss RBF, we wouldn't be here. If I had only gone home and told the truth, we wouldn't be here. If I hadn't moved from my home town, we wouldn't be here. If I hadn't taken my parents to court, we wouldn't be here.
My friends deserve better then me. All I've done is hurt them, over and over again. Getting taken, getting Anna taken, getting Flowey taken, getting MK taken, and getting whoever's next taken, just because they were looking for me.
My thoughts are inturrupted by loud banging noises. I jolt up, inching to the centre of the room to listen. What is it? Is something bad happening? Is someone being hurt?
Bang!
Bang!
They start to get faster, as if someone is ramming a hammer into the roof repeatedly.
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
I start to sweat nervously, as the sounds abruptly stop. Why did they stop? What is going on!?
A light taping noise fills the hallway, and is quickly silenced with a soft shush! Why would the kidnapper need to be shushed? It must be someone else coming. But who?
I here a familiar squeal, and quickly back up against the wall. What are they doing to Anna! But... It didn't quite sound like a scared scream. There is the sound of a door closing, and a couple more opening and closing afterwards. I hear a quick "Yo!" Before it is abruptly silenced.
I'm not sure wether to be worried, nervous, or curious. I stay against the wall, leaning towards being more nervous then anything. Who came for us? Are they bad, or are they good?
Suddenly my door opens.
I shield my eyes, cowering back from what is surely my painful demise. He finally got tired of me, didn't he? Feeding me, giving me water, watching me. It's all over now. Not even a kidnapper can bother to sustain me.
A comforting hand lands on my shoulder. It is stiff, and chalky. It feels cold, but in a good way. I lift my head, not sure I believe what I'm seeing.
"S-S-Sans...?" I croak, lack of water influencing my voice.
I should use my voice more often. I wonder, whatever happened to that contest at Grillby's? I doubt I won, but maybe I can get his opinion.
"yup, it's me. c'mon, we gotta get outta here. wouldn't want to go stone-cold in here, would you?" Sans says.
Man, he must be really stressed. That was bad, even for him. I laugh anyway, and start to sob along with it. Happy, racking sobs shake my body, and I bury my head in his shoulder(?). He rubdls comforting circles on my back, whispering that everything is okay now.
And I believed him.
Anyway, we left the cell, tiptoeing through the dark hallways. My other cell partners trailed behind, Anna clutching flowey, and MK gripping my hand with his tail.
"STOP!" A loud voice shouts.
We all turn, expecting the worst. Our kidnapper rounds a corner, knife in hand, and glances behind him.
As if he is waiting for someone.
Another figure rounds the corner, this figure not quite right.
They seem to be a beautiful female girl, maybe twelve years old. She hovers above the ground, shrouded in dark blue light. A dark blue tutu encircles her waist, and she twirls as she rounds the corner.
Her face is something I recognize immediantly. The girl, the one from the picture. On the keys our kidnapper dropped, there was a picture of this very girl.
Flowey gasped, sputtering things like "how" and "gone". He waves his leaves around frantically, an angry look on his face.
"Yes, Flowey, I'm still here. But I won't fall for your tricks again, weed." The girl says.
"Integrity can see your lack there of." She adds with a smirk.
The man pulls down his mask, revealing our kidnapper's devilish grin.
"MR. ADAMS!?" Me and Anna shout in unison.
Adams chuckles, brandishing the knife and holding the girl's hand.
"Yes, and it would've worked, too, of it weren't for you meddling kids!" He says in a mocking tone, mimicking the kids show Scooby Doo.
Sans sighs, walking up in front of us.
He sighs, slipping his hands into his pockets.
"listen, bud." He starts.
"you kidnapped my friends, tortured monsters in class, and served a dead girl, all for what? what are you accomplishing here?" Sans says.
Is he going to reason with him? I understand what he is doing, but I will be shocked if it works. But... What do we have to lose?
"All for what!? For what!?" Adams starts angrily.
"I'll tell you what! My daughter died in that fucking mountain! Killed to serve the purpose of strength for your pathetic king! Never returned to my arms, remaining incorporeal for years! Aging not a day as I grew to be 60! And you're asking me why!? I'm doing this for her! Revenge on that weed, and the mountain king, and she may return!"
Adams finishes, panting in anger. He is venting it through ranting, and squeezing his daughter's hand. She looks at him thoughtfully, as if gazing upon a whimsical child.
Sans chuckles, and puts a damper on his mood.
"don't you know how dead people work? get revenge, and finally be laid to rest. there is no "coming back" for those who have died. the sooner you accept that, the sooner your scars begin to cover the wound."
Wow. That is not what I expected to come from Sans. He seems so serious here, as if he knows that what he is saying is true. Has he lost someone in his life? I feel as if I should ask, but I don't want to pry.
"W-What?" Adams stutters.
The girl glares at Sans, an airy chuckle leaving her lips.
"You're a clever bag off bones, but never true to yourself.
Let your color show, weather you let it be blue or let it be red. Show those you care for that your love is true, or let your love be dead." The girl chants ominously.
Adams swivels his head between his daughter and Sans. Then he repeats himself.
"What...?"
Sans goes on as if nothing happened, but I can tell the gears are turning in his head. He speaks at Adams, trying to ignore the mysterious girl.
"your daughter is using you man, to get her revenge." Sans clarifies.
Adams rests his gaze on his daughter, who only smirks. "Your not her anymore, a-are you?" He says.
She shakes her head, but with not an inch of sympathy on her features.
Adams backs away, dropping the knife on the ground. He shakes his head, stray tears trickling down his face.
"Your not her. Not the girl I loved! I DON'T LOVE YOU!" He screams, launching a previously hidden blade at her.
It goes right through her, but the knife is not what gives her a startled look in her eye.
"... No... No!" She shouts, gripping her head.
She starts to fade, all the while screaming about her ties to earth being gone. About how she couldn't get her revenge, and that Death is coming for her.
The arc of an attack lights up the hallway, a scythe appearing in the air. 9's fill my vision, before disappearing all together. The girl screams, and then all goes silent.
I feel a boney hand grip my arm, and pull me towards the other direction. I follow it, and see the light of day like that light at the end of the tunnel.
The sunlight hits my face, and I squeal in delight as I am lifted onto the grass. It feels amazing, and I start to roll in it happily. The thpughts of previous events are put on hold, as I enjoy my surroundings.
I'm free!
=====
I really wanted to get this out to you all. Contrary to many beliefs, I've been working on this most of Friday, and nearly all of today.
I had company over from New York, here for my Mom's birthday party. So I had to take yesterday off. School made it hard for me to edit during the week, but I managed to get a start on this chapter on Wednesday.
I'm sorry if this didn't turn out to be good quality, or that it didn't turn out as you immagined it. But I felt this whole "Ghosts vibe" for some odd reason, and Integrity fit in well with my brain.
But here it is, sorry if it sucked. I will be working on another one, which I will try to get out earlier this time. Thanks for being patient, and Enjoy!
And remember! Reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold,
BYE!
