CHAPTER 42 

Mac's POV 

        I woke up snuggled up into Demi. For once, her phone wasn't going off. I looked at clock, it was 11:47. Huh, usually Demi would be awake by now, I looked up and jumped when I saw her looking at me, she started laughing, "I was wondering when you'd wake up." I just smiled and yawned, "You know what I wanna do?" Demi said to me, I looked at her warily. Please please please don't let it be shopping. "I wanna go to the movies." I said excitedly, "what's that mama?" I said, confused. Demi's face looked like mine. "It's basically a big room where you go and watch a movie that you've never seen before. You get snacks and popcorn and it's really fun. Can we pleeeasee goo." Demi moaned. I sighed and nodded, it sounded like fun. Demi squealed, "Ahh Thank you!" She hugged me tightly then pulled out her phone. "We should go early that was no one sees us." Then she leaped out bed, scaring me again, "Let's get ready!"

      Me and Demi are sitting in really comfy chairs at the back of a huge room. There was the biggest T.V screen i've ever seen in my life at the front of the room. As you walked farther back, the floor rose up. It's such a weird place. Demi told me the movie was called "The Smurfs," it looked really funny because it was full of little blue people!

     Demi's POV

     Mac had a great time at the movies. She was so curious about everything in the movie theatre, the popcorn, the drinks, the old guy looking for his keys, it was like all she wanted was to soak in information. We saw the Smurfs, and she literally laughed the whole time. It was so cute! 

    It was around 2:30 when we got out of the theatre, and suddenly, I had an idea. "Hey Mac?" I turned in my seat at a red light. "Yeah mama?" Came her answer, she was staring out the window curiously. "Mind if we make a quick food run?" I said, She smiled, and shook her head. I took the exit that led to the shopping center and parked the car. 

      "Why're we here mama?" Mac asked as I was undoing her seatbelt thing. I swear, everything they send me is literally impossible to unbuckle. Ah there we go! I lifted her out of the car, "Me and you are gonna make cupcakes and cookies." Mac's eyes lit up, "Really?!" I laughed with her, "Yeah!" Then my phone buzzed, 

From: Selenaaaaa<3 

       Woah woah woah. You did NOT go see smurfs without me?! 

I giggled and then texted her back, 

To: Selenaaaaa<3 

I wanted to take Mac! She's never been to the movies, I sowwwy :( 

  Her response took less than five seconds.

I guesss its okaay. How's the little one doin? I miss her already :( 

"Hey Mac?" I said, as we walked into the supermarket hand in hand. "Yeah mama?" She said, "Do you remember that girl Selena that you met last night?" Mac thought about it, and nodded. "She wants to see you again, is it okay if she makes cookies with us?" She smiled widely and nodded, I pulled out my phone again,

Be at my house in 30 minutes? it's cookie time. 

    She didn't answer, but I knew she was coming. Any time food was involved in could count on Sel to be there. I walked down the isles looking for the batter mix with Mac by my side. As we turned the corner into the 'Baking Needs' section, a fit of screaming made me stop. A little boy about Mac's age stood next to his mother screaming at the top of his lungs that he wants candy. Mac looked shocked, I quickly searched for the cupcake mix and cookie mix trying to ignore the boy. A thud made me look back at them, the boy had thrown himself on the ground and was hitting things off the shelves, the mother was trying to calm him down. I finally found the mixes, so I grabbed Mac's hand and practically ran away. 

       "Mama?" Mac said, as we stood online for checkout, "Yeah baby?" I said, looking for my other credit card, I didn't like using my black American Express, people always seemed to stare. "Why was that boy crying?" I sighed, "He didn't like what his mommy said, so he got angry. A lot of kids think by doing that they get what they want. But usually they don't." Mac nodded, "Why don't you tell me no?" She asked, "Because you're a good girl, and you don't ask for a lot." I said, smiling. Mac smiled too, then pointed to the cashier who was waiting for my card, "Oh, shit sorry." I said, He just looked at me, "Has anyone told you that you look exactly like Demi Lovato?" I smiled, "Yeah I get that a lot." He just shook his ead and muttered, "Holy shit." Then he saw the name on my credit card, "Holy shit it is you!" I laughed, "Hi!" He just stood there for a second staring at me, "Holy Shit." He said again, Mac giggled beside me, "Oh, right groceries, my bad." He went back to scanning the card. Once he was finished he looked up, "Really amazing to meet you!" I laughed, "Nice to meet you too!" As I walked away, I heard him mutter one more time, "Holy fucking shit." 

  Okay sort of longish? haha just a filler, Selena and Mac and Demi will be doing cute funny stuff in the next chapter and then PCA's!
