Jadekit is now 8 moons old and must use the command /Rankup to apprentice or /Rankup to medicine cat apprentice to be an apprentice next moon. If Jadekit do not rank up by the time they are 14 moons old they will be exiled from the clan or another player on the waiting list will have the chance to take them over. sjoybell

Cut-scene

It seemed like an ordinary night to this cat. The soft, glowing light of the moon was the beacon that awoke her.

The beauty of the moonlit camp kept her spirits high as she left the camp, her tail flicking behind her. Perhaps she shouldn't be outside at such a time. But she didn't care. She'd had the sudden urge to go out exploring. And besides, the clan's borders were well guarded, and no one had reported any odd scents as of late. 

The she-cat giggled to herself as she began to jog through the forest, enjoying the feeling of the wind on her fur. She stopped short when she ran into another cat. Poppygleam stared at the other cat in confusion. 

"Oh, hi!" She said with a laugh. "Looks like we're both up pretty late..." She shuffled her paws awkwardly.

The other cat laughed at her awkwardness. "Yeah, I suppose we both are," they said with a grin. "What are you doing up?" 

Poppygleam shrugged. "Just felt like I should. I couldn't sleep, anyways. How about you?" 

"Same thing here," the cat shrugged. "Couldn't sleep very well, so I figured I'd climb a tree or something." The cat lightened up for a second. "Why don't we race up that tree?" They said with a smile.

Poppygleam smirked. "You sure you can beat me?" 

"Is that a challenge?" The other cat mirrored Poppygleam's smirk. 

"You're on," Poppygleam said, laughing.

"3.....2.....1!"

The two cats began racing up the tree, side by side. Poppygleam ended up taking the lead, climbing higher and higher up the tree. Eventually, she was ahead by a few branches and decided to call it quits. "I win!" She yelled down to the other cat, scooting down on the branch to let the other cat sit by her.

"You're right about that," the cat suddenly grew serious, their tail dropping. 

"Hey, are you okay?" Poppygleam said with a worried look. "You look like you've seen a cat die," she said, frowning slightly.

"Not yet," they said, and before Poppygleam could say anything, they pushed her off the tree.

Poppygleam fell to the ground.

The cat looked down and smirked. There was no way she could have survived that far of a fall. So they climbed down the tree, stopping to look at Poppygleam. "He will be pleased," the cat murmured. They then made their way back to camp, leaving Poppygleam's broken body at the trunk of the tree.

NEW ADDITIONS/RULES
From now on we will have a group hunting bonus. We realized that it makes literally no difference whether you hunt in groups or alone because there is no benefit and this also gives us more of a reason for the 4 maximum of the hunting patrols so from now on when you hunt in a group you will get a +1 bonus on prey! But be warned, you will also get a -1 prey in Leaf-bare.

We have also added a clan chatting chain, so feel free to chat there!
