HAPPY PRIDE MONTH, EVERYONE!

The moonlight shone a beautiful kind of white across the camp clearing, illuminating every corner with its bright beams. The prey pile from the day's hunting seemed bare, as it was deprived of all the talkative cats that usually crowded around it during the day.

A single cat walked through the camp, the moonlight lighting up their fur as they took in the empty clearing. It seemed so peaceful- quite a drastic change from the lively chatter and merrymaking that took place previously that evening.

The cat's eyes closed slightly, a worried look appearing on their face. They knew what they had to do... but what if they weren't mentally strong enough?

The cat's tail flicked once behind them as they approached the warrior's den, a silent sigh escaping their lips. The cat found their target- peacefully asleep, her tail wrapped around her body.

The cat unsheathed their claws, lifting a paw to the sleeping cat's neck.

"Sorry, Mousewhisker." The cat whispered as they slit her throat , shaking as they moved their paw. "But we have to let the other cats know of our presence. This is because of Him. He is who we follow."

Without checking whether or not she was still alive, the cat snuck away, finding the closest river to clean their paws.

Mousewhisker was attacked last night and is now severely injured! Mousewhisker will now permanently have a scar on her neck. Who could want to hurt a clan mate? Discuss it in the murder discussion chain below....
